Good company with competitive prices.
A good company with helpful customer service (rarity these days). I needed to re-arrange delivery dates due to the fitter letting me down and Stevie couldn't have been more helpful. I had cause to contact Flooring Megastore on both the phone and via email and received a great service via both means. Minimal wait time. The courier company let them down with a delivery date a day late but this was not due to Flooring Megastore's doing.

Website prices were incorrect, I had to pay 50% extra !
Good choice of carpets BUT placed my order which was confirmed, the following day they called to say they had made a mistake on the website prices and I had to pay 50% extra in addition to what I had already paid. This is not great by any stretch of the imagination.
I have 2 stars as up to that point customer service had been good.

One of the carpets was way bigger than…
One of the carpets was way bigger than I ordered. Not helpful when it’s really heavy anyway and awkward to get into the room. Other carpet was huge so why it came with just the driver and no drivers mate seems crazy.
When you need 4m wide carpet be aware that it might be 3.97 and leave you short.
Apart from that it was the carpet that I ordered so that’s good. Happy with the product and the price, delivery could be better

This responsibility lies with us, as we should have emailed you prior to your delivery and notified you that an extra person would be required.
Couriers generally only supply a driver, as they will have many postcodes within the same run and the majority of these deliveries will only require the drivers help.
We have noted your comments and we are now amending the information we send to our customers, so thank you.
We will action a refund of your delivery costs for the inconvenience and this will go back on the card used to make the purchase.

Nightmare from start to (well it’s never arrived)
Ordered carpet on the 9th april for a very reasonable price. Disappointed the estimated delivery time was longer than expected after being informed the carpet I wanted was in stock. Email them received and was informed the carpet would arrive in the warehouse on the 25th april and an estimated delivery time between 25th and 27th. Next email received pushing back delivery to between 27th and 29th. Contacted customer service who informed me my order on the 29th april was out for delivery. Two hours later another email came through outlining that my order was in fact not coming that day and that they did not even have the carpet. This was particularly frustrating as I had the original carpets for the bedroom ripped out on the 24th and had booked an entire week off work to ensure acceptance of delivery. After complaining via email and looking for answers I was sanctioned a refund for my delivery charge. A nice gesture but a carpet that arrived on time would have been even nicer. After several emails I was informed my carpet would be arriving in the warehouse and I would be receiving it the first week of may. Fast forward to first week of may, numerous emails and phone calls later I was informed not to worry by Richard the manager and he would get to the bottom of it. Again a week went by and no carpet. I demanded the carpet be delivered by the end of the week and much time my surprise it wasn’t. I then spoke to another employee mikel who was very useful and reassuring promising my carpet would arrive tuesday. Did my carpet arrive tuesday? No. Again for the third time running I had to embarrassingly cancel the carpet fitter. Richard then promised the carpet would be delivered Wednesday and he would personally provide a courtesy call to check it had delivered. Did the carpet arrive Wednesday? No it did not. Did I receive a call? No I did not. With me losing patience after taking 6 days off work to collect an order that had never arrived and the carpet fitter patiently waiting for a fourth time to fit today thursday the 12th may, I told them I would go to the depot (40 miles away) to go collect the carpet myself. After work I drove to the depot where tuffnells very kindly showed me the carpet sat on the warehouse floor being untouched all day. After I requested if I could take it away, they informed me the way it had been wrapped meant it would not fit in anyone’s car, this I found bemusing as in my order notes with flooring megastore I requested they wrap it the shorter length so it would be easily transported. Did they wrap it the shorter length? No. Tuffnells warehouse staff were very apologetic and arranged for it to be loaded onto a van first thing for the next day, I am now waking up at 6:30 today to go stand outside my property to wait for a delivery that may never come.
To summarize:
I have taken 6.5 of my 30 holiday days off waiting for a delivery that I was promised that never came.
I have slept on a sofa bed in my spare room without any carpet in my bedroom for the last 3 weeks because of broken promises from flooring megastore.
I have spent 3 hours on phone calls and emails trying to locate my parcel.
I have driven 40 miles to a depot to chase up on the company’s behalf.
I have embarrassed myself by cancelling the carpet fitter 4 times the night before the fitting.
I have received 0 carpet.
Avoid at all costs. The people are friendly enough but will not fulfill orders like they say and are unable to accommodate for the lost time, money, stress and effort they cause.
I am now waiting to see if my carpet is going to be delivered today and I am also looking forward to an explanation from flooring megastore.
Do not buy from them, I certainly never will again.

It is extremely unfortunate that your order was subject to delays (please accept our sincere apologies for this). First issue was from the manufacturer, this was then followed on with a continued delay on the courier.
We eventually decided to transport you order direct to the Tuffnells depot ourselves as they hadn't collected for the second time of booking them in.
It was a surprise to learn that Tuffnells still didn't deliver your order after we shipped it directly to them.
No customer should have to wait a month for their order and we are so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
We are doing everything we can to ensure that this remains an isolated incident and our customer experience continues to be a positive one.
It is good to know that your delivery did finally arrive with you on the 12th.

Best flooring purchase experience
My experience has been fantastic. In an area of the market where pricing is dictated by old traditional shops it was refreshing to be able to take advantage of cheaper internet pricing but with great customer service.
Perfect communication from start to finish. Order was handled promptly and delivery made on time in full. Couldn’t ask for more.
