I will be honest with you.
I have very big issue for my life and have been scammed purchases for the premise business, the seller provided me false information, account and statement. I believe it’s called fraud by false representation, serious fraud, business crime, I will have to look for solicitor who can sort it out with my issue. Due to I lost around £ 20 thousand pound and getting bankrupt. I tried to contact this firm. I enquired them via online chat, they said they will contact me few days but no response, I contacted them again, no response. I feel they don’t want to talk with me due to I am not able to speak/hear over the phone. Due to I am profoundly deaf. I told them to email to me.
I feel they don’t want to involve with me due to I am deaf.

We called earlier today. Mr John Lambe left a message at 3pm.I spoke to him on his hands free car phone on his way home at 5.30pm.Mr Lambe was so helpful. Understandably, he said he could not take notes! However, he listened to the issues and he gave advice.He was so kind, professional and helpful.Whilst we are doing everything right at the moment going forward we will definitely use their practice.Being based outside London and having dealt with three southern solicitors over recent years, I can honestly say the North wins every time for empathy and care! It was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Mr Lambe.

Leonie is an outstanding solicitor who has dedicated her career to helping clients who gives her clients a voice when they might not have one themselves due to their disability. She is very responsive in responding to queries about my relatives case and replies to e-mails and phone-calls very quickly which is an excellent trait in a solicitor. She was very compassionate, caring, and committed to the outcome of my relatives case which was a very good outcome and secured justice for her. Leonie's service over the past four years has been absolutely perfect and she is supported by an excellent team of Carole Purdie (her secretary) who is on the ball and does her best to support client queries too. I would rate Forbes Solicitors 5/5 stars and I can't identify any recommendations on how they improve their services because they provided a consistent perfect service over the past four years!

Preston office closed down says it all

From our original first contact with Shannon at Forbes Solicitors in september 2023 regarding our wills, everything ran quite smoothly ,and these were finalised in late december. The Lasting Power of Attorney Property and Financial Affairs and Health and Welfare have now been completed to both our satisfactions even though during the process one of the executors moved premises. A big thank you to all concerned both for the work carried out and the final completion of this matter.

I contacted these Solicitors for advice, with a view to them taking on my case.
The receptionist said someone would call me back, on a withheld number. Two weeks later, nothing. I phoned them again, 0800 number, so not able to contact anyone direct. This time someone did return my call, but I didn’t catch the ladies name, and deleted the message by accident.
I phoned them again, and explained what had happened. They said someone would call me - again, nothing.
The last time I phoned them, and complained about their service, and lack of, the receptionist put me through to a man, who took brief details of my case. He said someone would call me back, to say if it was something they could take on. Over 4 weeks on - NOTHING - I wouldn’t use them now, even if they offered me a free service - My experience was THE WORST EVER!!!!
Aren’t Solicitors supposed to be someone we can trust in?

This company will gladly take your cash and deliver very little. Bitterly disappointed with the attitude of a certain 'alleged' Solicitor with his mocking of a very delicate situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Gave me some bad advice , regards a letter I should write to a hospital and give them 30 days to respond,the hospital have said that because I had no right to send a letter like that they have decided to have no more contact with me,the solicitors have now ruined the any chance I had of any help I could of had requarding an operation on my hand that I did not consent to ,being solicitors that deal with medical negligence they should know that a hospital has up to 6 months to answer letters ,so thanks a lot ,where do I turn now .

Massively disappointing that after 8 months of working on the sale of my property we received confirmation from Forbes that everything was in place to complete. Then at the eleventh hour when we were in the process of agreeing a completion date, they realised that they had provided incorrect documentation. To exacerbate matters, we were able to return new signed documents within two days, whilst Forbes still don’t have the documentation completed. Hugely annoying that such a rudimentary error could have occurred and even more disappointing that urgent steps have not been taken to rectify. My transaction is on the verge of falling through and Forbes just don’t seem to care.

19/04 update
Three weeks later and Forbes remain unresponsive, still haven’t rectified their error and have tried to claim this is not a genuine case. Thanks to Trust Pilot for collecting my evidence. My mortgage offer expires in two weeks so will be interesting to see what action Forbes take.

After the solicitor at Forbes has made a gross mistake that caused a huge hold up we are still Waiting for urgent documents to be returned to our solicitor and we are not getting a response! Incredibly frustrating experience.

I contacted Forbes regarding a potentially complicated trespass case and wanted to enquire if they had a lawyer with the correct skills to deal with my case. I didn’t get past the receptionist and was told they wanted £1,250.00 plus vat paid in advance before I could even talk to one of their solicitors. Wasn’t asking for advice, just wanted to know if they were capable of handling the case.
Very poor customer service for a firm that claims to be an award winning firm of solicitors. I went to one of their competitors and got great advice.

Though the solicitor took so long to complete the checks for our purchase of a property but Atif, Madiha and Aamir are really responsive and helpful. I really appreciate their efforts.

I can honestly say that my experience with solicitor Lisa Atkinson has been so professional, informative, a common sense approach and really knowledgeable. Lisa gave me sound advice and just really happy to assist. I cant say enough. Lisa is honest and you just get a good vibe from her, that she is there for you. Thank you Lisa. ***** DO NOT TRUST LEE ANNA PENDLBURY @ FORBES WHO DESCRIBES HERSELF AS ... QUOTE A FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ! *****obviously has aspirrations of working as a dominatrix , however i submit to nobody .... Ihave been selling a property recently , and guess what unbeknown to me forbes solicitors had put a charging order on my property ! they had even made a ccj against me wich i was never told about nor was i served papers to this effect i hadnt even received letters from anyone nor A BILL , of copurse at the time when i used forbes it was to purchas a considerable amount of land near the forest of bowland however the deal fell through i hadf p[reviously been quoted around 6 to 7 hundred pounds for the work wich was fine , i asked them to send a bill and nothing ever came infact lots of diffrent thing never came , i explained to forbes that on multiple occasions i lodged complaints with the gpo , the police banks you name it and that i would be happy to pay the bill price i was quoted as i had been a victim of organised criminal activity or mail magicly dissapearing , however this woman who called me of a mobile phone niot the bl;ackburn office number you expect from a law proffesional also she emails me from a mobile phone wich io find suspicious insists that i have to pay costs of £871.92 and £234.00 not the price i was quoted this woman ios obviously involved in some very dubious outside work dealings , and as this has been occuring with lots of tthings and was invbestigated its well out of order ! i am presuming there are some back hander going on here and if she doesnt like me to call her dishonneast and a scammer , i challenge her to stopp me , she can take legal action if iam wrong ... the main point is , thease solicitors can not be trusted they wont defend someone whos a paying customer who they didnt even send a bill !

very disappointed with this company. enquired about a case needed representation for , agreed prices, did checks and after 5 days decided they were too busy to help.. this made it very difficult to meet the deadline I had.

I enquired about some advice and if they take on my case. They said they would call me back. They didn't. I followed up and they cut me off and ignored my calls. What an odd bunch. Took my business elsewhere.
