I used to enjoy For Love & Lemons and I've bought quite a few things from them but their sizing isn't inclusive and even though they do have bigger sizes the cups are essentially the same size throughout so if you have a bigger chest you're out of luck. Also noticed that in their branding and social media campaigns, they rarely if ever use average or plus-size models and instead stick to using skinny models who don't represent the wider population of women. Also, speaking of social media, in their latest IG collaboration they also used a model who has a history of r@cist and homophobic behavior. I tried to bring it to their attention, since who they platform and what they stand for really does matter, but all of my emails and comments since have either been ignored or deleted. Their response indicates that they don't care about their customers, their audience or doing the right thing. Horrible Customer Service. Most of their clothes are also produced in and come from China so they're way overpriced and the price is not worth the quality you get.

Ordered same dress in two different sizes, unfortunately none of them worked for me in terms of style. The items were returned same condition as upon arrival, and once they refunded my purchase they deducted $280 CAD - some of it was my return fee which is ok. I contacted them and they said they withhold 25% restocking fees at there were some signs of wear. If there were signs of wear, why wouldn’t they reach to me and advise when making the refund? Basically another overpriced brand with cheap stuff, the clothes smelled horrible plus the lack of quality just doesn’t justify the purchase. Terrible experience and won’t recommend buying from them.

I'm reviewing more about customer service, or lack thereof. The clothes are always beautiful. But they charge $10 to ship anything. And the shipping takes FOREVER. I placed my order two weeks ago and have still not received it and the package is still a week away when I track it. Three weeks to get something you ordered in this day and age?! It's unacceptable. And to not offer free shipping on top of it. So you're paying shipping fees to get something at a snail's pace. Nice.

I was genuinely shocked seeing bad reviews on this brand. Yes, the items may seem overpriced but it’s not quite correct compare the fabric and lining with SHEIN. You easily can spot the difference. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit me because not only I’m stuck in middle size but also I have pretty wide rib cage and small breasts. However, the sizing was perfect. You can adjust height in slip dresses (my favs). I would 100% recommend this brand. Also, they have plenty options on sale :)

I bought the Paloma Slip Dress for my Wedding. The design is so pretty and unique! I felt fabulous in it on my special day. The item was shipped from America to the UK and I paid for route parcel protection, but it arrived smoothly and I didn't need to worry.

I got my clothing items, and they were lovely! Wonderful quality just like the picture, but I wasn’t a fan of the color on me so I needed to make a return. Well I didn’t look at the return policy closely enough and I was about 4 days past my return by date. But I thought asking is free I’ll just ask customer service! And immediately within two hours they had sent me a return label and return instructions! Fast and exactly what I needed I am so appreciative! I ordered a different set I think that’ll be more flattering on me but my experience with Abril was great!

I ordered the Opal Mini Dress for my hens.

I ordered a size Small as my measurements were bang on for this size. I wish I went a size up though and got the Medium as the dress is very short.
This was a surprise because the length was meant to be 32.5inchs for SIZE S but it was 29inches when I measured it.
The measurements are wrong on their site.

It still fits amazingly when I'm standing but I can't bend over without showing my ass to the world or sit down comfortably.

For the price point I'm very disappointed in the quality of the dress and material. The material if very cheap, reminds me of Ali express.

Overall, the dress is stunning but I feel very ripped off.
And because the dress is on "last sale", I can't exchange it for the size M.... Which is kinda cheeky.

If I paid $150-$180 I would over look these faults but because of the price it's not worth it.

Extremely cheap quality. You can buy better and similar products on Shein for literally 1/20th of the price lol. Not only that, but their whole anorexic, underage, Lolita thing is kind of appalling.

This brand is astonishing. A large majority of the clothing that they sell looks gorgeous on their website, but the price point is insane. Okay, fine, I thought I would save up and splurge on a new dress that would typically be outside of my price range. I bought a $300 dress and still had to pay extra for normal ground shipping which was a bit strange to me, typically when you are spending that much you get expedited shipping covered by the business. The shipping company they use, "Route" makes you download an app to track your package, but the tracking does not work at all. For the past week, my package has been at a postal location marked as "in transit" day after day... with no forward progress. I have called the shipping company, I have called for love and lemons, I have tried to contact "Route" and they all just have told me to be patient and wait for updates, and that shipping could take as long as 12 business days. It seems like a brand that boast luxury and high end prices, would opt for a more reliable, secure, and expedited shipping process and be more inclined to try to assist their customers. The dress that I ordered over 10 days ago is now of course not going to arrive in time for me to wear it to the event I had planned to wear it to, so now I get to hassle with returning it, which is highly irritating and disappointing. Lesson learned, higher prices does not equal better customer service. Do not order from this brand unless you have 3-4 weeks before you need your items.

With their price point they should be able to use cashmere and silk. I really don’t like their polyester sweaters and fake silk looking material tops and skirts.

I wanted to buy something from this brand since the moment I first saw it. All their stuff looked SO beautiful almost European and their prices definitely implied high quality. I bought a matching set from them of lingerie and I swear to god it’s the cheapest, most ill-fitting garbage I’ve ever purchased. It seriously MUST have cost like $2 to make I’ve bought things from VS and Lovers that felt way more luxurious and was so much better quality than this. Never been so disappointed and shocked in a brand in my life and I’m NOT a picky consumer. Even if it was uncomfortable and looked really high end and pretty I’d be happy but this place has the worst false advertising I’ve ever experienced the set didn’t even look like the photos. Buying from this place is akin to buying off SHEIN but at least with SHEIN they price accordingly for their quality and you know you’re not going to get what’s in the photo exactly. I’ll never buy from them again and when I see their prices I’m very annoyed that they make themselves look so high end and beautiful when the reality is it’s cheap and awful PLEASE go to Victoria’s Secret or honestly anywhere else but here.

Great customer service. You can call or text them on the 800 number. Leave a voice mail and a real person calls you back. Good quality lingerie.

Terrible customer service. I bought a bra and a short, but only bra came in. After waiting for 2 weeks, I reached out to them and they said the short got sold out. Then they refunded me the money for the short. I would not got a refund if I never reach out to them. Also, I couldn’t return the bra because it’s marked as a final sale product. But I originally bought this bra to go with the short. I’d never shop from here again.

I have a friend starting chemo so i ordered a chemo lemon package. they never sent it and when i emailed they never got back to me. weeks later i called and told me they 'missed' the package. This is disgusting!

What an awful place to buy clothes. It took forever for my friend’s dress to be delivered, and when it did it was in a paper bag - so gross. If you want to shop go to Loveshackfancy.

I ordered some underwear and bras from for love and lemons. I am a first time customer. I had the most amazing experience. I don’t normally shop from overseas due to having a such long postage times. However, I was pleasantly surprised, my items arrived right on time and super fast. I loved that I could track them live on route tracker app. I was constantly updated with where my items were in the process. I just got them today. I had read some reviews about the sizing being off. However, this was not the case for me. I ordered the sizes that I am in Australian sizing and the fit was perfect! The item was absolutely gorgeous and well worth the cost. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will be a returning customer as I love vintage style. AAA+++

The price of the clothing does not match quality. Decided to order first time from them. Spent around 150! For a short blue dress. The quality and material disappointed me. You could mistake it for a slip nightgown/negligee. Felt cheap and that’s because it is. 100 percent polyester I realized. The straps were made of fragile elastic and not very nicely secured feeling to the dress. Feels like they won’t hold up. The dress looks ok on but certainly was unpleasantly surprised by the quality. I won’t be wearing it very much due to it being so fragile and lightweight it doesn’t fit as advertised. (Skirts so lightweight and unlined , there’s not enough weight to the skirt part to make it sit like the picture advertised did. Bust has no boning and also so thin material that the cups fold over, so I have to keep adjusting it to grip my chest right )
When I spend 150 on one simple dress I expect it to not feel like it’s from SHEIN. Hell next time I will go to SHEIN first because it’s about the same gamble of quality and fit for a more fair price. The only thing flal has going for them is that the clothes are made in USA. So congratulations woo hoo now stop ripping everyone off.
Eyed this brand for a while before buying. I now have confirmed my original concerns. Not worth the higher price this company asks for when they clearly have no pride in the quality of their items.

Horrible customer service I ordered a dress each time it took a week to send it off, when I contacted customer Service during business hours they they never answer the phone as if they screen there calls, I’ve been buying there dresses for years the material is cheap and the dresses or so not even worth it stay away GO TO FREE PEOPLE!!
