Inept Customer Service
I purchased a large piece of furniture from Forom as the item I was looking to purchase was most affordable on their site. At first, I thought the customer service agent was quite nice. I slowly realized how inexperienced they were. I noticed my item had not yet shipped by the date I'd scheduled. I called them and was informed I needed to be charged an additional $100 to ship the item. This was perplexing as upon checkout I was told shipping was free for non-white-glove delivery. I did not appreciate them holding a hidden fee over my head in order to receive my furniture. When the item arrived, it came with a large chip in it and seemed to be defective. As I worked toward receiving a refund for the item, they placed the responsibility on the vendor who created the furniture which made no sense considering the payment was made directly to Forom and not the vendor. Their customer service continued to show their lack of experience throughout the entire process. I've lost money on an expensive piece of furniture and had to deal with a massive headache of a process. I do not recommend purchasing from Forom and instead recommend purchasing from somewhere more reputable.
