Frase and the team have been great. The content that's generated for me is usually spot on and a great starting point. And everything is easy to use. I especially appreciate being able to build a content calendar that lets me get out in front of things. And when I've had a question, or an issue, the team has been fast to respond.

I purchased Frase exclusively for their AI visibility suite and have been very pleased so far. It does a great job of surfacing metrics around appearance/citation rate, and overall brand sentiment. Your plan determines the number of prompts that you can track, and I've found their allowances here to be very generous. I especially like the ability to break the prompts down into marketing stages so you can get a sense of your success in your typical marketing "top/middle/bottom" funnel categories.

Frase is extremely helpful in auditing and identifying where the opportunities are to create new content. Their "Frase Answers" feature always floats interesting patterns of inbound conversations that enrich my blog. I've been able to improve our brand visibility on search engines and llms because of it.

I’m sure it works for businesses that are not in very competitive markets but I didn’t personally see any benefit to the content generated. That’s said, it is easy to navigate and understand how to use so don’t let me put you off. I just found it not suitable for me - in a very competitive market.

I love how Frase is always getting better and it has become a huge part of my SEO/content workflow.

One of the biggest wins for me has been using their API and MCP server to rapidly build out competitor comparison pages. Those pages started ranking surprisingly quickly in Google Search and showing up in LLM results. They didn’t just drive additional traffic, they forced me to think much more clearly about how we position our product against competitors. I was able to move very fast and knock out pages that would have taken a team and $1,000's of dollars.

The pages ended up being effective enough that a few competitors actually reached out to me about them, which was a pretty good sign that they were getting noticed.

Beyond that, the product itself has gotten significantly better. The UI is excellent, and they continue to build out the platform in useful ways.

SEO is also getting increasingly fragmented. You have traditional rankings, LLM visibility, Google Search Console data, content optimization, and a growing number of tools trying to make sense of all of it. Frase does a great job of bringing a lot of that into one place without making the workflow feel overwhelming.

Highly recommend it, especially if you’re serious about scaling SEO content and figuring out how your brand should compete in both traditional search and LLMs. Excited to see where they take the platform next.

Frase has helped me scale my content output considerably through their optimization & opportunities features. I can easily see how well my content measures up via their SEO, GEO, and Google EEAT scores, and get recommendations for improvements. Their AI Visibility suite is also incredible at visualizing how often you're being cited across LLMs.

Really powerful content and research tool. The latest features I've enjoyed using is the AI Visibility tracker allowing me to see how I'm ranking across different LLM's like Google Overview, Claude, Gemini and more. It gives me areas where I can improve, huge game changer before its pay to play. I also really enjoy the Content Guard feature to help me keep up with content before it starts to drop. Very powerful tool.

We use Frase as part of our agency's GEO services. It allows us to research, analyse, create and monitor content for AI search and has really enhance our ability to deliver value to our clients.

I'm extremely disappointed with how this company treated its lifetime customers. Those who supported the business from the beginning were effectively abandoned and received little more than an apology. Customer loyalty should be rewarded, not disregarded.

I purchase 10 FRASE LTD accounts and they're all invalid!
ALL my purchased accounts (10 in total) from APPSumo of Frase.io are all dead, not able to logging anymore, without any reason or notification.

The same thing just happened again, again and again! this is not the first time, and won't be the last time. I started to worry about my other purchases all the time now.

That's why I had to cancell my AppSumo Plus subscription, and will never purchase any deal on this site.

I spent almost $3000 USD on AppSumo, but my rights are not protected at all, they even blocked some of my reviews on some of the products!

Frase is in a state of construction forever and there are far cheaper and more sophisticated SEO tools out there. Don't waste your money on this one.

The AI writer for example is much worst than ChatGPT and constantly loops the same text over and over.

The keyword research works in principle but then it's useless when you need to take the entire writing section out of Frase to edit.

I bought Frase as a lifetime deal, years ago. When they first tried to extract more money from their early supporters by adding an "SEO addon", whatever that meant, I bought it and paid the monthly fee for about 1,5 years. Back then I was a fan of Frase and thought I need the tool and want to support the team.

What actually happened was years of stagnation, paid add-ons, and now a full rebuild placed behind a new subscription. Lifetime customers are told the old version still works, as if that fulfills the original promise. It does not.

Lifetime does not mean “access to a frozen legacy tool.” It means ongoing development under that agreement.

Keeping a legacy version online is not the same as honoring lifetime development. Rebuilding the product may be technically justified, but asking lifetime customers to pay again reframes a failed roadmap as a fresh start at their expense.

A discount does not fix this. The core issue is trust and expectation. I invested early with the understanding that Frase would evolve. That evolution simply did not happen in a meaningful way for lifetime users.

If you are considering a lifetime deal from any SaaS company, treat this as a cautionary example. And if you are planning to subscribe to Frase, be warned. Abandoned development is highly likely, so don't integrate it too deeply into your workflow and don't give them too much money.

This company freaking sucks. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Most the time it doesn't. Customer service will send you one suggestion a day to try and act as if they are trying to resolve the problem, full of crap and one of the worst companies i have ever had the displeasure of doing business with.

So I purchased the 30 articles for $60. Rank ready. It means you type in a subject and ai does the majority of the work. According to frase. It does nothing as soon as I ask AI to do anything it tells me I need to buy a subscription. Well I bought the articles rank ready and frase says that doesn’t require a subscription. So I contacted support. They will reply in 24 hours and Malachi did reply, he asked what article I was trying to make , I answered with 1 minute. He’s ignored all follow up emails and I still can’t get it to work and I can’t get any help or a refund. Absolute fraud

I have used Frase and to be honest, not impressed at all. I trialled it and at first I thought this is quite a clever tool, but the more you play around with it, the more you realise it's just chat gpt with SEO headers. I put the same AI query int chat gpt and into Frase and although it claims to create unique SEO content, the truth is that it just simply doesn't, the content in chat gpt was almost identical. It uses the same sort of bot generic language that any human being would identify, let alone an AI detector.

I tried to cancel after 24 hours of using it and they also refused to give a refund and were very unhelpful on support.I would not recommend to any aspiring SEO content writers.

Don’t use this product. ChatGPT works just as well. They will take your money and offer no refunds from early stage start ups.

While Unlimited AI Documents promises unlimited access, it’s important to clarify that there are certain limitations. The articles themselves were of good quality, and the overall flow worked well for our needs. However, it was frustrating to encounter unexpected restrictions that weren’t disclosed when we signed up. Specifically, we faced limitations when creating “AI Instructions.” After reviewing both the website and dashboard, I couldn't find any mention of these restrictions. It wasn't until I contacted support that I was informed certain aspects, like using AI to create instructions for the article, are restricted. This lack of transparency could definitely be improved.

Review: Disappointing Experience with Frase.io – A Warning for Future Users

I’d like to share my experience with Frase.io to warn others about the risk of unexpected charges and the limited customer focus exhibited by this service.

After a period of seven months where I did not use my €79 monthly subscription due to a busy schedule, I was surprised to discover that these fees continued to accumulate without any reminder. What was especially disappointing was the lack of notification regarding my inactivity or any alerts about upcoming renewals. While I regularly receive newsletters and promotional emails from Frase.io, it seems they have no policy in place to notify customers of prolonged inactivity or remind them about renewal charges.

No Notifications or Reminders

Frase.io does not send any reminders or notifications when the subscription automatically renews, even if there has been extended inactivity. This gives the impression that the company prioritizes automatic payments over true customer satisfaction. A simple reminder before renewal could have helped me to either cancel in time or evaluate my usage, but Frase.io failed to send any such alerts.

Insufficient Compensation for Refund Requests

When I reached out to customer service requesting partial compensation for the months I hadn’t used the service, I received minimal support: only the most recent month was refunded, along with a 50% discount on a future month. This “compensation” is essentially the standard discount offered to new users and provided no real relief for the amount I’d already paid without using the service.

Lack of Customer-Centered Flexibility

Frase.io shows little flexibility or empathy toward customers who, due to circumstances, have been unable to use their subscription. My request to apply unused months as credit for future use was outright declined, with the explanation that it “doesn’t fit their policy.” This response paints a picture of a company that’s unwilling to make reasonable exceptions, even when the situation justifies it.

My Recommendation

To anyone considering Frase.io: be very mindful of the automatic renewal policy and the strict terms. Do not forget to cancel if you’re not using the service because, in cases of inactivity, you cannot expect leniency. With no reminders or customer-friendly adjustments to fall back on, you risk accumulating charges for months without any notice from Frase.io. This is something to carefully consider before committing to a subscription.

Conclusion

While the tool may be valuable for active users, my experience shows that Frase.io exhibits little to no understanding for customers unable to use their subscription temporarily. Their rigid policy and lack of communication about renewals and inactivity are issues that could cost future customers significantly.
