Fase.io is not a trustworthy business
Fase.io is not a trustworthy business. A few years ago, they got us all to buy their lifetime deal on Appsumo and have now locked us out of all the features. This shouldn't be happening in the 21st century, where trust is an elusive commodity. It's a shame.

Now they use chatgpt, not even gpt4, to generate their bland articles. This product is doomed as soon as chatGPT hits the market. What can Frase do with generate blog articles that GPT4 can't?
They scammed me $169 for 1 month of poor quality output. Shame on you, Matt Hurley! You should be so ashamed of yourself. I hope all your investors see this.

They charged me after cancelling my membership with their "5 days excuse". I got asked like 5 times if I was sure, offered me a discount and still after stating no and getting a confirmation on the app, they charged me the fee. When I placed a claim they said I should have claim 5 days after. I check my bank statement at the end of the month so this is definitely a scam

Terrible after sales
Way too expensive for what it does, not value for money, and customer service is very disappointing. They use a 5 day policy as an excuse, not to refund you after they bill you quietly without your noticing fees went up. Such business methods are not ethical. Hope management can review and improve. It can only do this one time to each of us and we will never return. I never understood why would people do business this way.

Trial period problems solved very adequately
I used Frase for a trial and therefore signed up with credit card. Only to get access to the trial period and see if it would work for me. 7 months later I find out that I have automatically been put on a paid plan. Unfortunately, I had not noticed this before on my credit card details. Long story short: I emailed Frase (yes, I was pretty upset), got response the same day and without any problem they refunded the 7 months. The day after (!) I got all of the money back into my bank account.
Many many thanks for handling this so adequately. I had seen some very negative reviews on Trustpilot also, so I was actually crossing fingers. But they instantly took their responsibility and there was no further correspondence needed to just solve this. Despite the paid plan problem many thanks for the great, fast and fair service.

Refund issue escalated to bank dispute
This company double charged me twice in a year. Even though I provided bank statements for the debits from their business address, I had to raise a dispute with the bank. I understand if they cannot see the charge, my dispute will be processed and taken care of. But, why not fix the system that did this twice in a year?

Scamy refund policy.
Another one of these companies that ask for your credit card details when you're forced to sign up just to see if it's right for you. When the free trial expires they refuse to refund you even though you haven't used the tool at all. Scammy business practice.

Frase has been a game-changer in my content creation. It has changed how I create content, from blogs to ads to video ads. It has helped me create content more efficiently than ever before.
I can also create lots of A. I templates, which is nice. I am using this tool every day, and I am excited about more updates that they will launch.
There were many dramas and issues last time from some of its customers, but I think it's already solved.
Overall I recommend this tool if you are serious about content creation.

Definitely not satisfied with Frase
Frase is far behind other great AI writing tools. Frase options don't work properly and it doesn't give many ideas from its AI. Instead, it only replaces the synonyms and some minor mistakes from the text which are useless and will eventually fall into plagiarism. The worst thing about frase is that it doesn't give the option of rephrasing the whole paragraph in contrast it only rephrases a single sentence at once. The tool's UI/UX is also not impressive.

The reason why you were charged $54.99 is because you selected the optional "Add-on" at the beginning of your subscription, which as stated on the checkout page, is an additional $35/month. This add-on grants unlimited access to our AI Writer (the "write for me" button, AI templates etc) which I can see you used extensively (hundreds of times in fact) over the course of your one month subscription. As a result, we charged you, correctly, for the use of that product.

The SEO score and keywords that Frase determines is very very inaccurate and unrealistic. I have tried to optimize content for >10 projects in the trial, no good results so far. Money grabbing company. Algorithm sucks.

Promising company that ended with lost money/time
I rarely leave reviews. I just don't have the time.
In this case, I will make an exception. Frase appeared to be a promising team with a solid product. Unfortunatley for me, that turned out to not be the case.
Facts:
- I had documents on their servers that I paid to create.
- Frase servers go down.
- Frase lost my documents due to a rookie mistake about user transfer rights.
- Customer service promised the docs could be recovered, which was a relief. They weren't recovered.
- I lost money (about $650) and time. Could say it was my mistake in not backing up key workflow documents elsewhere. But I thought I was in good hands.
Be careful. Don't trust startup companies with your key processes. Frase may have a suitable product, but their execution thus far is not strong.
Lesson learned.
2 star rating due to risk level. Can't continue using the product.

Frase for content writing
I find Frase is a really vlauable tool for research for content writing. It's been my first experience of using software to help with the research and i like the fact that it is quick and it gives me a compiled record of my sources. Its got other great features but that is why I am going to keep on using it.
