We kept passing the store and loved the window display so visited the store. Alice was so helpful in a very friendly and professional way. When we decided what we wanted Alice was on hand to take our order and has kept us fully informed with updates. Will definitely be revisiting when we need any future furniture.

I have shopped at Fredmans for a number of years and always been very satisfied. With regard to my recent experience, Alice was absolutely marvellous. She didn’t pounce on me the moment I arrived in the store but when I had had a little time to look at the products she came to see if she could help. She was very knowledgeable about the product and extremely helpful when it came to choosing and ordering. Fredmans organise a visit beforehand to make sure that it would be possible to get the furniture into the house. Alice has excellent communication skills and kept in touch throughout. When she wasn’t available, Andy the store manager was there to help. The furniture arrived more quickly than expected. On delivery day my dining table needed dismantling and moving to one side in order to get the sofa, chair and footstool into the lounge and Fredmans organised that the men bringing the furniture into the house, would see to this for me and then reassemble the table and move it back into position afterwards. The delivery men were very pleasant and efficient. The whole experience was very good indeed. The house was left in a clean and tidy condition and all packaging was removed. For a modest cost, my old sofa and chair were taken away to be disposed of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store to family, friends and anyone I come into contact with. They stock good quality furniture and things for the home at competitive prices and couldn’t be more helpful.

We spent several hours in Freeman’s Paignton over 2 days with a view to purchasing a Sofa. David attended to us and could not have been more helpful or patient. He was able to provide ideas and guidance without any pressure to make a sale and was a very pleasant person to deal with. An enjoyable and satisfying experience!

I can highly recommend Fredmans. I took my lounge measurements to Fredmans and they designed my favourite sofa to the best fit for my room. Alice and the other staff members were extremely helpful. Alice was so lovely and patient as I changed my mind several times!! I have every confidence in the quality and look forward to getting my new sofa.

We have lived in Torbay for most of our lives and yet we have never shopped at Fredman's. We popped into the store recently and were immediately impressed with the wide range of furniture on show. The store is a real gem. The manager (Andy) and Alice were just brilliant. Both are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy. I am sure Fredman’s will be our first “port of call” in future, when buying furniture. We would definitely recommend Fredman’s to our friends and family.

Fredmans is my go to store for furniture as they are always so helpful and their stock is very good,lots of choice and very competitively priced.
I had my eye on a table and Alice sent me updates and information I requested regularly.
We are so lucky to have Fredmans pop inside and browse if you haven’t discovered it yet,staff don’t hassle you but are always there if needed.

Fabulous experience all round, attentive but also thoughtful and very knowledgeable Manager Andy and friendly but professional team who made the experience as pleasant and stress free as possible apart from the actual final decision choice (which of course is all on us!!) but empowered and enabled us we think to make the right one.Thank You!!...after relocating from Wiltshire some time ago now we do just wish we had discovered Fredmans sooner and supported such an amazing local business!

Very good selection of household furniture. Very helpful staff, Andy in particular, who helped us with the purchase and finance arrangements for a three piece suite and wardrobes.
This is not the first time we have purchased goods from this company nor is it likely to be the last.

Bought 2 sofas from Fredmans, we had looked at all the usual big brand places, didn't think they were up too much. Tried Fredmans, the choice and quality is far superior. The service was faultless from choosing to delivery. We can highly recommend Fredmans and wouldn't go anywhere else again.

After three visits to Fredmans extensive showroom, several cups of coffee and expert guidance from Andy we finally came to a decision and made our choices.

Myself and my wife have been looking for a G plan sofa. Fredmans prices were very competitive, they had an excellent website and I noticed they were a local buisness too (I support local when I can).
As excellent as the website is, there are some materials G plan wont let you order unless you are in store, so we visited the shop yesterday to look at the 'velvet finishes'.
From our first call with Alice through to our purchase with Nicki, the staff could not have been more friendly and proffesional and they obviously have great knowledge of the products they sell. The store is tidy and well organised and we got to try out the design we had chosen with power recline, and power lumber (which I didnt know I needed till I tried it!).
The whole purchase experience was brilliant from beggining to end, and I'm delighted to be able to whole heartedly recommend buying from either the website or in store.

Having recently moved into a new property, we were in need of a new dinning table and chairs. I popped into Fredman's to view what they had in store. I was approached and greeted by the most charming Alice. What a refreshing change to find someone with a great product knowledge, and, who was actually interested in what I was looking for. After viewing a number of options in store, and talking with Alice we ultimately bought a table and benches that were on the Fredmans web site. We were made clear on delivery time schedule and ordering, and payment procedure. Throughout we were kept informed via email which was reassuring. Once the items were in stock we were allocated a delivery date and time, the delivery team arrived on time, and were very pleasant and helpful. Having now taken delivery, we are absolutely thrilled with the product, the quality is outstanding, it ticks all the boxes. A huge "thank you" to Fredmans and in particular Alice for the five star service.

We moved into our new home at the end of August and realised that we needed a small table for our laptop computer and printer. Having lived in Paignton for a few years in the 1990s, we remembered Fredmans Furnishings and decided to call in with the intention of buying a suitable table. The Sales Assistant, Alice, welcomed us to the store and, after we explained what we were looking for, she showed us a selection of items and we were soon able to choose one. The Assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout our stay in the store, which was well laid out with excellent displays of furnishings. Definitely worth another visit in the future!

A great choice of high quality furniture in Fredmans store. Alice was very knowledgeable about the different furniture options and nothing was tòo much trouble for her as we had specific measurements for the sideboard that we were looking for. She kept us well informed about the delivery which came quicker than expected. We are very pleased with our purchase. The delivery team were very pleasant and helpful. A great service all round.

We purchased a beautiful & practical part mirrored wardrobe from Fredman's and Alice from the store was so friendly and informative about the product !
