This company will lie to you and completely disregard your right to privacy.
In the contract you are emailed(once providing significant documentation) the company will automatically pre-tick two checkboxes violating your rights to privacy and automatically subscribing you to "promotional communications". They will refuse to uncheck both of these checkboxes.
In this contract there is a link to the privacy policy, this link does not work. Update: This is now resolved and I guess they never thought to thank me for pointing this out to them.. What can I say except "You're welcome". When pointing out my concerns to this company about their practices and that their privacy policy was non-existent I was told "they will not waste any more time". Update: Looks like they did "waste .. time" as their privacy policy is now available...
The company will lie that this tick-box does not violate your right to privacy and the company will claim they need to share information with advertisers so they can install your Internet. None of this is true.
The company provides cheap Internet because it's subsidised by selling your personal information to advertisers and marketers. Their privacy policy states "We may use your information to develop and display personalized content and advertising (and work with third parties who do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness."
So that's where we are, a company that is clearly selling your private data and are non-apologetic about it.
Note for any legal representatives reading this: I'm pretty sure the practices employed by this company are not legal in Spain but as I'm not a Spanish resident I cannot easily take action. I'd be happy to help fund some initial action though so feel free to reach out.
