Great care was taken from the moment we discussed the funeral with Armstrongs. Every assistance was given to making sure that all went well with my wife's funeral. Michelle worked with me throughout, and Rob Head conducted the service with skill and committment. All the staff involved were great, showing dignity, professionalism and care throughout. All persons who came to the funeral were very complimentary about the service. I used this company previously for my father's funeral, and I feel that I chose the right Funeral Service again. Would recommend Armstrongs to all and sundry.

The care we received as a grieving family by the team at Armstrongs was wonderful. We were able to visit my deceased brother whilst he was in their care on several evenings (as we all work full time) and the team never made us feel like we were putting them out how ever long we wanted to stay. This was especially comforting for my nephews (his sons). My brother died in the hospital in Manchester but his wishes were to be laid to rest back in Bury St. Edmunds where we all live and he previously lived, we found out that Darren, who went and collected him, shared a love of Leeds United football club with my brother and Darren went above and beyond getting the program from the match which my brother got a mention in - sorted out by my nephews! And even gave him a special scarf so we could keep his one after the service. The service itself was beautiful and ran very smoothly which is what you want at such a special last tribute to your loved one. Thank you all again, you’re all amazing.

Nick Armstrong and his team are highly professional, compassionate and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are an independent firm and nothing is too much trouble, from the initial phone call to the actual day, they go way and beyond to make the whole process as smooth as possible. I would not use any other company other than Armstrong’s.

The staff were excellent and it made the whole process much easier to go through. Communication was perfect and any questions were quickly answered. The service itself couldn't be faulted.

The excellent service we received started from the moment we called Armstrongs in the middle of the night and continued through to the day of the funeral. Even though it their job which they carry out daily, all the staff made us feel that they genuinely cared.
So many people have said the funeral summed my Dad up perfectly. The team at Armstrongs made it as stress free as it could possibly be allowing us to focus on our memories and family.

We have used Armstrong's twice now once with my father and more recently my Mum. Having never had to plan a funeral before I want to say the Team at Armstrongs Funeral Services were so supporting. They helped us through every step and were so kind, caring, and compassionate.

We would like to thank Lewis & all the staff at Armstrongs funeral service for their professionalism & kindness with 2 recent family funerals everything was perfect would highly recommend them .

We were recommended Armstrongs Funeral Service by several people after our Dad died and we were so glad we went with them. They couldn't have been more caring or helpful and gave us plenty of different options for the funeral service so it felt very personal. We went with the "Simple" Cremation service but although simple it certainly didn't skimp on any of the essentials. I did wonder what the coffin would be like with a "Simple" service but it was all we could have wanted and of a very high quality. We opted to have someone playing the organ to accompany the hymns rather than pre-recorded mustic and I'm so glad we did as the organist played them so sensitively. I have no hesitation whatsoever in thoroughly recommending Armstrongs to anyone. Ann Rudland

Armstrongs are a local and independent funeral directors and my father had specifically requested that we use them for his funeral when the time came. He had been to funerals looked after by them and was very impressed. It was a pleasure to deal with the staff at Bury St Edmunds, despite the circumstances we found ourselves in as a family. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable at our face to face initial meeting and communication back and forth between then and the funeral itself was always timely, useful and accommodating. The funeral day itself went very smoothly and the representatives from Armstrongs were very kind, helpful and professional. They felt like extended family members at the funeral and we knew we were in very good hands throughout the day. The follow up afterwards was also very good. All formal matters were dealt with easily and there were some nice little touches for us as a family as well. The ability to have a tribute page on the website was very useful at the time for family and friends, for ease of donations and to continue to return to in moments of need. We highly recommend Armstrongs and will be using their services again in the future.

I found Lewis & all at Armstrongs to be very caring, helpful and attentive. It has been such a very sad time for us losing two sisters in the same month. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they were at end of telephone when needed.

On the funeral day, the team were caring, respectful and so incredible helpful - even sharing tissues with us.

We live outside the area and when our mother died unexpectedly we quickly needed the services of a local funeral director. We spoke to several friends of my late mother and they all recommended Armstrongs based on previous experiences. These recommendations were well founded as the service we received was personal, supportive and gave us great peace of mind in an area we had no experience in. Highly recommended.
