All colleagues of Funero went over and beyond what was normally expected during the repatriation process of our loved one, from the first moment to the very end and even further. What they did was exceptional. They didn't spare time nor effort to make this happen much sooner than the normal duration of the process would have lasted, because of their deep and fundamental understanding of the family's wishes and the reasons for that. They achieved what was officially impossible. They treated our loved one with outstanding respect and the highest professional care. Furthermore, the empathy and humanity they exercised towards us, and the efficiency and supportive nature of the communication made an unbearable difficult time feel smooth at least from the perspective of the protocol they so effectively completed. If we had not used this fabulous company to bring back our loved one we never would have manage to get her back to uk. Our loved died while on holiday in Egypt. A family of not much money made what felt impossible. Funero made it happen fir us they didn't ask for any money upfront and quote was more than reasonable. We searched company's website and Funero was only one didn't ask upfront money which gave us 5days to raise the money we set gofund page and manged to raise it. Funero informed us every single step of the way. And even helped us receive reports after bill was paid. We can't thank them enough for love and support they deal with the whole thing so quickly,translating everything for us to a full package. The reps in Egypt worked so hard for our family there so great to deal with inquiries face to face which make it all happen without any problems or delays.

I can't speak highly enough of Sebastian and the Funero team. I must admit, I was slightly worried about using them as they were much more competitive, however their service was impeccable, regular and timely communication which was a huge comfort at a difficult time.

I hardly leave reviews for any services I receive or products I buy, because life is so busy. However, I must make an exception for Funero.

My experience with Funero (especially with Sebastian and his colleagues) was simply AMAZING.

Sadly, my Mum passed away in Italy. After my mum’s death, we agreed for her to be buried in the UK but had no clue about how to proceed with her repatriation.

Simply by chance of searching online, I stumbled across Funero. My first call with Sebastian was very comforting. He was very clear and precise. He professionally explained the repatriation process, method and procedures, including timelines and documentations required.

From start to finish, Funero was simply AMAZING, and the entire repatriation of my mum was so stress-free and smooth. I received daily updates on paperwork, progress and other important information. I even had a link to track the refrigerated ambulance that brought my mum from Italy to the UK.

I must also commend the 2 Funero staff (father and son) I met in Italy, who drove the refrigerated ambulance, they were very professional, nice and helpful.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. During the most heartbreaking time of our lives, Sebastian from Funero made everything feel calm, respectful, and completely hassle-free.

We were so worried about the process of getting my mum safely back home to Slovakia, but every detail was handled with care, compassion, and professionalism. It was one less thing we had to stress about — and that meant the world to us.

I absolutely recommend this company when it comes to repatriate the loved ones to the country they belong! I believe what really made a difference compared with the others I contacted was the promptitude they’ve answered back and get things sorted really quickly! I had others I contacted, really didn’t appreciate how they’ve communicated back and hence I chose them!
