UPDATE - 8 JULY 2026: I would give this company zero stars if I could. I’m still receiving advertising emails from them, even though I told them over two years ago that I would never buy from them again. My experience buying furniture from this company was genuinely upsetting — the staff were unprofessional, rude, and dismissive, and the whole process left me stressed and frustrated. It was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs and shop elsewhere.

Today I received an email from Trustpilot stating: “You’ve written a review for Furniture Traders Thirsk Ltd, and they’ve asked for more details to better understand your experience.” Trustpilot also said: “If you provide some extra information within 3 days, it’ll help them recognize your experience and respond.” They added: “If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine.”

I can confirm that my experience with Furniture Traders Thirsk Ltd was genuine. I am not willing to revisit the details further. The incident was upsetting, and repeatedly recounting it places an emotional burden on me that I do not accept. The information in my review is accurate and reflects what happened.

I also want to make it clear that I do not want any further advertising emails from this company appearing in my inbox.

Had new furniture plus a bespoke headboard made, and the service was fantastic from start to finish.

Even after we realised the bed wouldn’t fit up the stairs, the team went above and beyond and eventually got it through the bedroom window!

My headboard is absolutely everything I hoped it would be — thank you so much for making it happen. Big shoutout to “dad” for making it happen

The settee is so comfortable, and a huge thank you as well for the extra material so I could recover my buffet. Excellent service throughout!

A fantastic experience with the Epping
Store. My couch was popular so there was a big of a wait for it to be available but once it was ready the process of finalising moved quite quickly. The real highlight came with delivery. The delivery staff were amazing. They worked together to problem solve getting the couch inside and then put it all together. They were extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend them!

I have used Furniture Traders for several years now from patio sets to living room furniture to replacement beds and mattresses. Couldn't be happier. Quick and easy delivery and all at a good price.

Everything was easy to do online. The furniture looks even better in person. Quick delivery and set up. The staff told me when my belongings got to the warehouse and worked around my schedule to schedule my deliveries. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for furniture.

Have bought furniture from here before wonderful family firm with not only excellent products but customer service second to none .Bought after negotiating a price a bench table and 4 chairs and they were delivered and installed within a couple of hours.I live in a townhouse with stair lifts so delivering a bit of a challenge .SO pleased with Thirsk Furniture rhat I only buy from them cant recommend highly enouğh very accomodating staff

Josh and Jake were so accommodating and willing to negotiate a great deal on some fantastic furniture. When the pieces were delivered they put them exactly where we wanted them, it took literally 2 minutes! Thanks again, we will be coming back for other pieces in the future!

Outstanding - it's an emporium, where you go in to for one thing and come out with ideas and other items of quality. The staff are amazing - you're left alone to browse and nothing is too much trouble - even down to delivery - great service, outstanding team and amazing products.
