My daughter was struggling at her previous school and needed more support. Fusion has provided the right environment with their 1-on1 teaching approach and put her back on track. She has even made some great friends.

Fusion Academy's one to one classes seem to be the solution to our son's years long school refusal. He absolutely would not return to a big classroom after Covid. With debilitating social anxiety, any variation of online school was not an option. A high school diploma didn't seem possible until now. We are very grateful for the professionalism, patience and compassion that has our son learning again.

Fusion Academy has been life changing for our daughter. Starting at a very young age, she struggled in the public school setting due to anxiety which morphed into school avoidance. She was forced into a therapeutic school setting that did more harm than good.

Today, she has medical issues in addition to her anxiety. Fusion is the only school that can accommodate her needs while also providing a great education.

Their individualized approach to learning helped her thrive and enjoy learning again. She has always struggled with math but is now able to explain and teach me how to solve the problems she is given for homework. The teachers tailor the lessons to her individual needs in a one-on-one setting. Every day, they go over the material with her and make sure she is comfortable with what she has learned, before moving on to the next unit. This kind of flexibility paired with the quality of the instructors simply cannot be found anywhere else.

Knowing that she will not fall behind helps to relieve her anxiety and allows her to learn and stay engaged. Parents receive daily progress reports that outline in detail the school day.

We truly feel blessed that we found Fusion and are so appreciative to the staff of the Englewood school. Since day one, they have welcomed our daughter with professionalism and compassion. They really go above and beyond to ensure her academic success. Enrolling our daughter at Fusion was the best decision we could ever make for her.

We are trying Fusion Academy (Reston, VA Campus) after multiple other school attempts for our neurodivergent high schooler. So far we are extremely happy with the transition and so is our child! The teachers have been terrific and engaging, and our child is unusually motivated to go to school and engage in his classes. We are thrilled.

Coming out of elementary school, we made the choice to send our daughter to private school for the middle school years. The school we originally enrolled her in had lots of promise, but things didn’t turn out as had hoped. As the first semester of 6th grade turned to second semester, we were struggling with daily school refusal. A change was needed.

And that’s when we found Fusion.

Now in 8th grade, our kid is excited to come to school every day. She’s socially engaged in campus life and academically thriving. Coming out of some challenging times, the team at Fusion Academy San Mateo has changed the path of our child’s future.

This school has been a gamechanger for our daughter. Her public school failed miserably when it came to understanding and taking care of students who struggle with mental health issues. Her anxiety was through the roof in school due to bullying, not feeling safe and chaotic classrooms that were not being controlled by the teachers.

Fusion has turned her school life completely around. She is now in small group and 1-1 teaching environments that are allowing her to thrive and flourish. She is in a safe space with lots of friends and the most wonderful teachers and staff. She is happy, confident and getting the best grades she has ever had.

Fusion has offered our daughter a place where she feels like she is seen, heard and truly belongs.

My children have amazing teachers who help them thrive by adapting their teaching to meet the needs and interests of each child. My daughter loves math for the first time in her life because her teacher shows her how to relate Algebra 2 to art (her passion). My son has four teachers who help him understand topics so well he is able to chat with me all about his new learning when I pick him up. In addition, the daily notes from the teachers keep me updated on what my children are learning and how they are progressing. Fusion provides an exemplary education focused on each individual student.

Fusion Academy has made it possible for my child to learn at his pace, with a sense of support and safety that he could not receive in public school. The 1:1 format has helped him be seen as an individual and allowed for a deeper, more engaged way of learning. The curriculum is tailored to his learning style and personlized to his interests, so he really wants to go to school! We are incredibly thankful to the administration, teaching and community that creates a space that is welcoming!

My child has been attending Fusion since 6th grade. He is very smart but was continually dysregulated in a traditional school setting. Fusion's 1:1 format and relationship building with my son helped him to feel safe, heard and trusted, something he had never experienced in a school setting before. One of my favorite things I’ve heard from the staff was, “This is a challenging situation, but I know there’s a solution in here somewhere, and we’re willing to find it.”

Our children have had a wonderful time learning with Christine Foley! Every week, my daughter would share with me some of the class content and discussions. As she shared, it made me wish I could take a course like this for myself! The teacher's thoughtful arrangement of the plays, nicely structured weekly topics, essay topic assignments and personalized feedback gave them a perfect balance of learning, thinking, discussing, and analyzing. We are grateful that our children were able to have Ms. Foley's guidance and teaching as their first exposure to Shakespeare's work and related history! Thank you!

My son was really not interested in reading, but his English teacher worked with him to find material that would be interesting to him, and it really resonated with him. We still recommend the book!
