I genuinely wanted to proceed with Future Power Team and had the funds available to pay for the installation.

I was originally quoted £7,250 for a system including 2 × 16.1kWh Fogstar batteries and a 12kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter. I paid a £725 deposit and signed the quotation.

I was subsequently told that the 12kW Sunsynk would not be available within the timeframe I had been expecting, so I worked with the company to try to agree a suitable alternative.

I was willing to proceed with a revised system using a 10kW LuxPower inverter at the same £7,250 price, subject to several points being confirmed in writing. Before signing the revised quotation, I asked for four straightforward points to be confirmed: the exact equipment models; confirmation that G99/DNO and the agreed installation scope were included within the £7,250 price; confirmation of the stated 10-year warranties; and correction of the PandaDoc acceptance record.

Unfortunately, despite calls and follow-up emails, by the time I decided to cancel I had not received what I considered clear written confirmation of those points.

I found myself repeatedly chasing for information that I felt should have been straightforward to confirm before committing to the revised £7,250 specification.

After spending considerable time trying to get the revised arrangement finalised, I eventually decided to cancel the order and request the return of my £725 deposit.

It is a shame because I genuinely wanted the installation to go ahead and made considerable efforts to find an alternative solution with the company. My main frustration has been the communication and the difficulty I experienced obtaining clear written confirmation of the final specification and arrangements.

I have now formally requested cancellation and a full refund of my deposit. I will update this review once the refund process has been completed.

Throughout the whole process Future Power Team have been really lovely and helpful with any and all questions we've had. Super responsive and I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me or give a sales pitch like a lot of the other companies I spoke to. Kane was great to chat to and it felt more like a conversation around what system would work best for our requirements.

Their prices are competitive, and they also work with great people. The roofer, electricians, and scaffolders have been top notch, friendly, speedy, and got everything up and running in half a day.

Scarlett has also been great at answering the many questions that kept popping up.

Kane and the whole team were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. Fitting the solar panels and electrical equipment went very smoothly, everything was explained clearly and our questions readily answered. We would certainly recommend the Future Power Team to anyone thinking of having solar power fitted.

I'm pleased with whole process.
It was well explained at the planning time, and I was able to ask lots of questions. There still some areas for me to clarify as once I started to use it, there is more to ask.
System set up was optimal to my house design and household energy needs and my budget. They don't offer cheap products but those which worked.
Simulation of potential saving was I think slightly over the real one I may get (but it's my opinion, I will see after first year)
Offer was very competitive to those I've managed to check around so I was happy to go ahead. Also, payment system was fair and safe for me.
Installation was smooth and took less than expected (apart from weather which postponed it slightly but it's out of control).
After installation I received documentation, all digital etc. so all smooth end easy.
Any questions were answered quickly.
I hope system will work as should.
I would definitely recommend FuturePowerTeam to others.

I just had a 15 panel, 10KwH battery, 5KwH inverter Solar system installed and although this was only done today, the process has been extremely straightforward and relaxed. It took me 10 months to decide on who to go with and … PING.. up popped Kane and co. It is winter, therefore I cant assess the benefits yet. But they have been very professional, prompt and responsive to questions. Kane and his team are brilliant.

Recent events have led us to feel that we would be better served by having an EPS and an additional battery added to our PV system. Kane took time to highlight what some might consider to have been potential disadvantages whilst answering our queries regarding pros and cons and before taking our order. We had a couple of minor hitches but Kane personally dealt with them, promptly and efficiently so we remain very content customers who are happy to recommend Future Power to others.

I few months ago I had a full PV + battery system installed by Future Power Team. The experience was excellent. Kane explained my options and gave me suggestions considering my budget and my requirements. They did the install a few weeks after in a very fast and tidy manner. Then they managed everything to do with export license and documentation, while keeping me informed.
Would 100% recommend. Especial thanks to Kane and Scarlett for being so supportive and responsive.

Brilliant service, office staff are helpful and on the ball, Kane is so knowledgeable, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, after our first meetings I knew this was the right company for us. we had our solar’s put in during our house build. The team were great at adhering to our time scale which like most builds were delayed. Future power team ended us visiting the site three times for the installation process because we needed each section in stages and they were extremely accommodating. Highly recommend.

Did sense check with other companies response was pathetic at best and worst misleading. No comparison to the service offered by Future power team.

What made my experience with future power was nothing but good from the moment I got in touch with the company told them just what I was looking for it was all go give me a very good quote wich I was very happy with sent me all paper work to see just what I was getting give me date and that was that arrived at 8 am on the day and the team worked no stop and what a job them lads done can only say brilliant explained every think helped me set the wi fi up one very happy customer. Great experence from the initial chat with Kane to discuss our needs, right through to the installation. Very professional team, work was done to the highest quality. Solar panels and battery were installed in 1 day and I am very pleased with the results.

From speaking to the salesman to the finished installation this company is fabulous. The electrical people arrived exactly on time. They installed all the cabling and all the equipment except the panels. The finished job looks really good.
The panels were installed 2 days later. I thought the electrical installation was great but the solar panels look even better.

Great customer service and would highly recommend. Not had anything to do with solar prior to this installation and all the team couldn’t be more helpful when ever I didn’t understand or was confused with the system!

We started with solar panels and battery, last November after much debate switched from Gas combi to AS Heat Pump ( cost slightly more after grant which Kane organised).
System tailored to the house with 3 of16 radiators increased in size. The whole house is maintained at a comfortable temperature and more than enough hot water.
Bills have come down lots…..some months Octopus pay us.
One of our better decisions.

A detailed quote process with no sales pressure was a positive and compared to others Future Power provided the best overall solution and value.
The install process was good and when we had a problem (consumer unit fail after 3 weeks) they came quickly and replaced it.
