Extremely Slow & Unnecessarily Difficult to Use
Pages take forever to load. Even going back to a page you were just on can take ages. Navigation is confusing, simple things often require way too many clicks, and time to time something just does not work properly. Finding modules, deadlines, appointments, or doing simple administrative tasks regularly takes more time than it reasonably should.
Probably the best example is that students at our university have started building their own tools just to avoid using the normal Fuxam interface.
One student built an unofficial Fuxam MCP so every student can access things like modules, deadlines, appointments, course bookings and study progress without interacting with Fuxam's bulky interface. Another student built a separate open-source tool for interacting with Fuxam.
If students are spending their own time building their own interfaces for a university platform, something is clearly wrong with the actual interface.
Before Fuxam, our university had its own internally developed system. It was much faster and much easier to understand. And no one attempted to build their own solution around it.
