Posted my item a month ago. States it was delivered within 2 days yet I still haven’t heard a thing from them regarding my payment. Emailed multiple times and tried to call but just rings out. AVOID - they have taken my watch and given me 0 payment or update!!!

Very please with how things went…

Very please with how things went trading in an old iPad mini, where other companies wouldn’t even look at my iPad Gadget GoGo were there ever step of the way. Didn’t expect a great deal considering the tablet was 2015 model, but go just over £10, which is more than other recycling companies were offering.

Very disappointing experience.

The item I sent was in excellent condition and accurately described, yet it was downgraded during assessment and valued significantly lower than the original quote. This raises serious concerns about how items are evaluated once received.

Although the offer was slightly increased after I challenged it, the final amount still did not fairly reflect the condition of the device. I ultimately accepted the payment only to avoid further delays, not because I agreed with the valuation.

The process felt one-sided and lacked transparency from start to finish.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious, as the initial quote may not reflect what you actually receive in the end.

I traded in an apple watch SE, quoted £90 and given £45 for the condition which I not too pleased about but I understand that it’s not perfect.
However, what I am actually displeased about is the fact I accepted their valuation on the 14th April, it was delivered before then. I had to chase them up for my valuation as well. I appreciate they may receive a lot of devices but the communication is so poor.
I just want my money for the product I have given them!! Ridiculous, they have still not got in touch with me I feel as though I have been scammed by an illegitimate company, use Webuyanyphone instead!!

Stay away!!!

I returned an old watch, so the quoted value was £25. The quote was based on the condition described when it was created.

However, their assessment was very conservative, reducing the value to £5. That's a scam!
For an old watch, a battery below 80% is typical.

Here’s an excuse to avoid paying!

Your device’s screen has scratches that surpass our 'Good' condition standards. Additionally, the battery failed our technical check as its health dropped below 80%, requiring a replacement. As a result, we must categorize this device as 'Not Working'.

I had no option but to accept the offer!

I enjoyed my experience using this…

I enjoyed my experience using this service to sell on my ipod nano everything was super fast and easy only issue i didnt like was the long process on waiting for payment after sending to emails asking for an update to then being ignored I didnt appreciate that but in the end the payment eventually went through and I was notified by email I will use the service again in the near future hoping this improve next time but for now good service thank you for the service greatly appreciated

All good and got paid what was quoted.
Only reason for loosing one star was because they were very slow and confirming receipt of item.
I understood that there was a bank holiday ‘in-between’ this but I wasn’t informed of their trading hours during that period. Also no mention of closure when trying to call them.
To summarise… all good, but could be better

Annoyed and should’ve checked reviews first

Got advised £230 for my Dad’s iPhone 14. It was in great condition, considering it being a few years old - so obviously wasn’t going to be perfect. Received an email report from them, pushing the item down from excellent to poor, and now down to around £170.. Because it had teeny tiny marks that no one but an expert could see.
Unfortunately after reading reviews on here, people experience the exact same thing.
We are still getting money for it, so we’re grateful we’re getting a ‘lot’, but it’s only about 2/3 of what was advised.

I sent an immaculate Apple Watch for…

I sent an immaculate Apple Watch for which I was offered £170. But I then received an offer of £120. Because apparently it had scratches on the screen. I received an image of what was supposedly my watch with damage to the screen, but I couldn’t prove that this wasn’t my watch or that it had been damaged purposely. I also had to email to get my money. Shocking company

Your Apple Watch was originally submitted as being in “good” condition. However, during our inspection, our technicians identified visible scratches on the screen which meant it fell into a lower condition category. Because of this, a revised offer was made to reflect its actual condition. We also provided imagery to show exactly what was identified during testing.

We understand that this can be frustrating, but customers are always given the choice to accept the revised offer or have their device returned free of charge. In this case, the revised offer was accepted and payment was processed accordingly.

We’d also like to clarify that we did not receive any contact raising concerns about the revised offer prior to acceptance. Had you reached out, we would have been more than happy to review this with you.

In addition, payments are processed automatically once an offer is accepted and completed within our standard timeframe. Customers do not need to contact us to receive payment.

Finally, we would never intentionally damage a customer’s device. This would not benefit us in any way, as a device’s condition directly affects its resale value.

We’re sorry again that you feel disappointed, but we hope this helps clarify how the process works.

Sent an Apple Watch in that was in perfect condition, then received pictures of a watch that had huge scratches on the screen and was offered half the amount.
Didn’t even look like the watch I sent .
My watch had not one scratch on the face as I hadn’t used it for 7 years . It was as good as new
I packaged it in a sturdy box completely fully of bubbly wrap
Absolutely no way it could have got damaged.
I have asked for it to be returned.

I am not the only one to give similar review .

As you can see I have had the response from the company .

They are suggesting that I am accusing them of deliberately damaging the item , which I am not .
I am saying that the pictures they sent is not my watch .
My watch had been sitting in a drawer for over 7 years not being used .
I even clean the watch very carefully and I was amazed at how good the condition was .
However the pictures I was sent looked like a completely different watch as I would not have sent something as bad as that .
I am suggesting there must be some kind of mix up .

You be your own judge but I would not be using them ever again .
It will be interesting to see the state of my watch , check serial number when it returns .

All devices we receive are assessed based on their condition at the time of arrival. In this case, our inspection identified damage to the screen, including a crack, which has a significant impact on the device’s value and resulted in a revised offer being made.

We do acknowledge your comments regarding the packaging, and we agree that the item was well packaged on arrival. Given this, it is highly unlikely that this type of damage would have occurred during transit. In our experience, damage in areas such as the corner of a screen can sometimes go unnoticed.

We would also like to reassure you that we would never intentionally damage a customer’s device, and all items are handled carefully throughout our process. Each device is logged, inspected, and photographed individually to ensure it is correctly matched to its order.

Ultimately, we can only assess a device based on the condition it is in when we receive it. Based on our findings, the damage was present at the point of inspection.

As with all revised offers, you were given the option to accept the new valuation or have your device returned free of charge, which we understand you have chosen to do.
