Easy policy purchase but poor claims experience
Signing up for the policy was quick and straightforward, and the initial purchase process was very easy.
However, when I needed to make a claim the experience was very different. The claims process felt unnecessarily clunky and involved multiple steps just to provide basic information and documentation. Communication throughout the process was slow and at times unclear, which made it difficult to understand what was happening or what was required next.
Given how long it was taking and the lack of clarity, I ultimately decided it was quicker and less stressful to simply have the device repaired directly myself rather than continue through the insurance process.
Insurance should provide reassurance when something goes wrong, but in this case the claims experience created more hassle than it solved. The sign-up journey was smooth, but the claims process and communication would benefit from significant improvement.
