Scammers , did not pay deposit back . 10 000 aed scam

Scam! Be careful please! They didn’t paid the deposit back after promised it. Now they are not answering anymore!

This company is committing fraud. Requiring deposit that never is paid back. Stay away from this company.

I wait my money 2 years now,of deposit back for rent from Gateway carrental Dubai, from march 2024.They made a lot of promise, but they never return,my money .They cit tourist don’t leave them deposit card ,they will stole it..

I rented a car from Gateway Car Rental LLC for 2 days in Dubai. The rental itself was fine and the vehicle was returned in good condition.

However, I paid a refundable security deposit of 4,975 AED which was supposed to be returned within 21–30 working days. The deadline has passed and I still have not received my refund despite several follow-ups.

I have now opened disputes with my bank and filed complaints with the authorities.

If anyone has successfully received their deposit back, please share how long it took and what steps helped.

Leased a brabus g wagon, it was a fake standard g wagon with a body kit, 20 minutes into driving down the highway and the carbon bonnet scoop flew off, it had been glued to the bonnet with no proper fixing. I was charged 8 thousand dirhams and threatened with my passport being blocked and prevented from leaving the country if I did not pay. I had my family with me whilst this was happening, do not use.

I had to pay a deposit of 1000 Dirham in June 2025 it's now October and I am still waiting. They ignore messenger, emails, calls. Don't use them. 😭😤

Stay away from these scammers. They take your money and a deposit which they don’t return. Police are investigating. Got my money back from my bank in the end but they have done this to multiple people hence why they keep creating new business names!
