This is a Scam company please save yourself time and DO NOT USE. They will ask you to sign contract and steal money from you. This needs to be investigated they cannot just steal money from people!!!

This company needs to be reported to the Trading Standards and shut down. They charge extortionate hourly prices (£279 p/h!!) which they only disclose once they're in your house, and on top of that they don't even do a good job. My problem was not properly fixed after being charged nearly £2k on a 3 hour job and they refuse to give any compensation. Absolute scam. They go by different names like WE FIX 24 LTD. They do just enough so that they are within legal boundaries, however they operate extremely unethically. STAY AWAY from this company.

We were charged 1,770£ for 3hrs of work on a bathroom leak.

I called this company and ask if a plumber could visit her
The lady I spoke to said there was a £50 call out charge , she did not mention £199 charge per hour which my mum was billed for .
Her new tap cost was £67, her total bill after three hours of work was £985.32
This company is misleading baiting you to choose them and then just taking huge amounts of money
If the person at the very beginning of the call would have stated price per hour I would never have chosen this company
They chose to hide this very important information and I find them totally dishonest . The lady who took my call at the very beginning mentioned a cost for materials which I totally understand would have to be paid for . After talking to the company and complaining I asked why they did not disclose price per hour being £199 per hour . There answer was, because this amount per hour changes . This really isn’t good enough . They should be honest about all costs from the very beginning . Be warned do not use this company unless you want to pay a very very large bill .

WeFix24 LTD Similar experience to last review(s). Arranged through local plumbers, but correspondence was from wefix24. Chap arrived promptly, once in the house said I had an email to confirm. It requested permission of entry (already in my house) items of charge being call out fee, fee of £175 1st hour regardless on top of call out and £175 per hour thereafter(could have told me in the phone) i would have shopped around further had i known. This was to re-assemble a washing machine waste that was leaking. Chap disappeared to van for 20mins on his phone, I said i know your getting minimum hour but I'm not paying you to be on the phone just want the job done. Changed a bit of external waste for white when rest and original was black. Completed job and billed £324 for the pleasure....... I directed my disgust for the charges direct, said I would pay but never recommend their daylight robbery services for such a trivial job. Maybe do away with call out fee if you are under an hour. Shocking, how many others pay ludicrous prices. Here is the bad review I also promised to warn others.

Same as the below, on receipt of their charges I did not reply to the email to confirm luckily I had fixed the issue before the arrival. There are insisting they did something, I am refusing to pay. They are threatening me with debt collection.

Should I be le concerned? Who is best to report this to

It's the same story as other reviewers below - and I only wish we'd seen these earlier. We called these guys in good faith and got eyewateringly ripped off - £850 just for changing a tap, due to ridiculously high callout rates (£250 per hour), prevaricating in order to go over the 1 hour needed, an additional admin fee of £95 on top of a £60 callout charge.

Please note: they are operating under the name We Fix 24, playing off the good reputation of We Fix London, who are a completely different (and thoroughly reputable) company. Reviewing in the hope that it helps others avoid making the same mistake we did!

Absolute sharks… had to call emergency plumber and couldn’t get my mains off to stop the water and was told £85 call out fee, 45 mins response time. Plumber took nearly 2 hours and hourly rate was £475 plus an admin fee of £75 plus VAT, nearly £700 total and all he did was turn my mains off as he took his time inspecting the problem. I had to Chuck him out but he wouldn’t leave without payment. These people need to be struck off

Scammers We Fix 24 LTD you can’t hide!
These guys trade in the name of We Fix 24 Ltd.
Charged me 60 pounds for initial call out and then wanted an hourly rate of 279 pounds plus vat in addition to the 60 pound call out. Told them this was unreasonable they then said they would fix boiler for 200 pound plus vat. Agreed to this and surprise surprise told me they had to come back next day to replace a part, wanted to charge me 249 pound for labour and 240 for material in addition to the 200 plus vat already paid with an estimated labour time of 1.5hrs. These guys give the plumbing industry a bad name and a bad reputation. Hopefully many people will read this review and avoid them like the plague. My guess is they will keep changing their trading name and continue scamming people.

Don’t get trapped. They simply charge £200+ for doing nothing just to visit and investigate. Promised visit charge is £50 but the plumber said there is an investigation charge pf £160 just to tell you the problem. To fix the problem then you need to spend thousands of pounds. Be aware.

Whilst a reasonable callout charge is charged they then hit you with a horrendous hourly rate which they are more than happy to charge fully for when just creeping into the next hour. Adding in a random "Admin Fee" of £140 +VAT without explanation and then having the plumber they sent tell my wife that he would wait in the van outside until payment had been receiveded. Avoid at all costs.

473 pounds to cut and seal a wire. I will be pursuing this legally, these people are deceptive and borderline criminal / rip off merchants.

Booked in for a plumber from them to unblock a drain. They quoted £50 call out fee, then once the plumber arrived to start work they sent a new fee of £369 an hour (without VAT and equipment hire) I rang their number to say this is a ridiculous amount to charge, I received a screeching european woman on the other end of the phone, choosing to shout down the phone at me that it has to be paid etc etc. I hung up on her.

The plumber seemed apologetic but refused to leave my flat until he had photo proof of me sending the payment.
I mistakenly rang WE FIX London to complain and they said they get it often that this company is mistaken for them.

DO NOT book this company. They're scammers. and the absolute scum of society.

We Fix 24 Ltd - they quoted £75 for callout on the phone and then tried to charge me £500+ when they arrived.

Scammers.

This company has changed their name multiple times to hide their untoward activities. They do not disclose the fees and when the service provider is in the home, they don't leave unless the new fees are paid. Specifically, they charge for parking (even though we have onsite parking) and increased fees from £60 (consultation) to £220 (service) per hour. They also said we had to buy a new product when it only needed to be turned on and off.

A complete con. You actually end up dealing with a company called WE FIX 24 LTD.

They tell you about the call out fee, but not the massively inflated hourly rate and on top of that the gross admin fee.

The guy who came out to look at the leak in our hot water cylinder told us he had isolated it, but the leak continued all day and the next until we got a proper plumber out. Turns out he should have manually completely drained it, rather than running it through the taps.

The website is a complete con too, quoting high Trust Pilot ratings that don't exist.

Please, for your sake, avoid this company.

They fooled me with the 1 hour arrival time (they took 2.5 hours), but their prices are 4 times higher than the average in London.

When on the phone I asked for prices, other than the call-out fee, they didn’t want to mention the hourly rate, nor the admin fees. I only found out after the engineer was already in my house and it was way above my expectations (£400 an hour).
I refused the job, as the engineer could not tell me how long it would have taken, but I still had to pay for the call-out fee (£82.80).

A complete waste of time and money.

Made the mistake of not checking Trustpilot before calling. The reviews on their website just don't exist. Tried to cancel an appointment after reading the actually reviews and they initially refused to cancel / claimed it was a booking fee instead of a callout fee - also no mention of cancellation charges.
Can't even find a company listing on gov.uk...

Plumber was sent out to us within the promised timescales and stayed for an hour. His text confirming the job was done was sent four minutes past the hour simply becuase the guy was nice and we got chatting. This company tried to charge for two full hours. #avoid
