My son was not feeling confident for his English GCSE's after mocks. He did not understand where he was going wrong or how to approach the questions for maximum marks. We have not had his results yet but since doing the Easter booster sessions and then the eve before exams sessions, he walked in and out of his exams feeling very confident. He has absolutely enjoyed his sessions with Sophia and felt he learned more in those sessions than he did in the entire year in the classroom. Thank you Sophia and for all the encouragement you give to your students.

Excellent value lessons and Sophia is a brilliant teacher and her packs are fabulous. Has really helped my son who has dyslexia and found her teaching perfect to take in.

I really enjoyed the sessions and found it really helpful. The ability to ask and answer questions was great and very interactive, Sophia was very positive and good at motivating us before the exam.

After trying other online tutors (and feeling rather despondent) we were so thrilled to finally find Sophia. Our only regret was not finding her sooner so our son could have joined the Easter revision session. Regardless, Sophia gave us access to the recordings so my son could catch up, make notes and work through the handouts (which were of excellent quality). After each future session with Sophia, he came away learning more, feeling confident and being able to apply the techniques needed in exam questions. The customer service is outstanding and she always replied promptly to any questions I had. We would definitely recommend Sophia to any one wanting to have that extra boost in English.

Absolutely amazing! Sophia has been the biggest help for me through my exams and has taken a huge weight of of my shoulders of the daunting idea of studying for English (where it is known to be really hard to revise for). She created a lovely and welcoming environment where you can ask any question. She is able to make the sessions not only accessible but also include whats needed to get those higher grades, not to mention they are fun and interactive. Excellent communication from Sophia and engaging lessons which have been very positive for my reluctant 16 year old. He never has to be reminded to attend the sessions which is a credit to the content and delivery.

Many tutors claim to be good- too much money spent and you realise that it was not worth it at all. Sophia? The complete opposite. Firstly, her English Literature AQA GCSE revision sessions were second to none, offering unique and high level analysis points for my texts of Jekyll& Hyde, Romeo& Juliet and An Inspector Calls. Her quality really shined through, myself and my parents would both agree that her sessions were really good value for money. I would go as far to say as if it wasn't for Sophia, I wouldn't have got as high a grade in English Literature that I did. On the contrary, when my English Language GCSE grade wasn't as high as I had hoped, I didn't hesitate to request my scripts back and to ask Sophia to tutor me for my recent November resit. Sophia went above and beyond to accommodate me in her busy schedule, whilst also giving me constant feedback and points to improve on with. Now, as I await my results, although I'm nervous, I'm sure they'll be excellent- just because of the brilliant tutor Sophia has been for me.

What can I say about Sophia? She is quite simply amazing! Being a good online tutor really is a skill - we’ve had quite a few tutors in the past and when we found Sophia I knew she was special! She is truly talented at what she does and manages to weave confidence and language skills during every session - she always comes to each session really enthusiastic and upbeat, which keeps my son really engaged. She always feeds back and keeps us updated and is very quick at responding to queries or questions about the sessions. My son loves every session - which I never expected as English was a subject he originally hated. What she has achieved with my son is phenomenal. We have been working with Sophia 121 since March 2024 to help my son who was predicted a 3 in language and at the time I was considering telling his school that he shouldn’t be doing literature. I knew he had the ability but his school couldn’t seem to unlock his potential. My son is now getting 8s and 9s in both English literature and language practice papers!! Sophia has completely transformed my son’s chances to go to college and beyond. Thank you Sophia. You are an amazing tutor.
