I spoke with a very eloquent & professional sales guy called Harry, everything was explained simply & efficiently, at no time did I feel pressurised or under any duress to commit to an install, I sought advice of a friend of mine in a similar trade & he confirmed that all the figures mentioned to me were correct & added up, as a result I was more than happy to book an install via Harry.

I wanted to get a solar quotation and consider my options

From outset their sales were slyly hinting at discounts to get me to put down a deposit before even they ran through an online consultation.

No quotes or solar proposals have been shared with me since the online consultation despite promises that they would. Not a good company and really only seemed to be interested in making the sale.

UPDATED 29/07/26: co-founder Tom did end up following up with me after seeing this review and did mention checking the call recordings to understand the pushiness in sales. I have the solar proposal and now reviewing whether they’d be suitable for my needs

After having a negative experience with another solar provider I reached out to Geko.energy with slight apprehension.

I've now got 20 solar panels on my roof along with a SIG Energy battery system, and I'm really happy with the installation. Everything was handled professionally, communication was great, and the whole process was smooth.

Had a 10 panel system fitted with a 6kW battery and inverter at our place in Cambridge. Geko Energy were straightforward from start to finish no pushy sales tactics, just honest advice on what made sense for our roof and usage.

Three weeks from enquiry to running
Honestly the speed surprised me. Harry did the initial quote on a Tuesday, surveyor came the following Monday, scaffolding up two weeks later and David fitted the lot the day after that. 14 AIKO panels and a FoxESS inverter. No mess, no fuss, no hard sell

I got three quotes and GEKO came in the most competitive without feeling cheap. Ethan was honest about what we did and didn't need – he actually talked us out of a bigger battery than necessary. Neil and the install crew arrived 8am sharp, were tidy, polite, and finished by 3pm. App was up and running before they left.
