3rd time calling today for my refund owed for damaged goods that never even arrived and for the one item that was delivered third time that I've arranged collection for that as it doesn't get collected so I have to wait until item is returned to get a refund on that item ...oh and then wait for up to 14 days. I was sent a mirror in a bag and inevitably it arrived smashed. I contacted customer services, asked by Sikelelwa to respond with photos. I did so, and never heard back. I emailed again and got silence. It's been two months!
Order delayed for no reason twice
I ordered a kitchen bin nearly two weeks ago which was due to be delivered in 3 days. First delivery was “delayed”, as was th second delivery nearly a week later. No explanation given, and I still don’t have my bin. Extremely frustrating

Disgraceful service BEWARE OF TRYING TO GET A REFUND. Orders 2 items and one of the items I received was completely different to what I ordered so I returned both items and requested a refund. After two phone calls ( waiting forever to be answered ) and three weeks later STILL NO REFUND. Absolutely disgraceful service and I will never order again from Asda . PLEASE BE AWARE ALL CUSTOMERS WHEN ORDERING FROM ASDA . You might not get your money back .
Appalling Customer service
Item was left out in rain late at night on an Ind Est. It was open, most parts missing and address label for another person so clearly a return. Courier was sent to collect but said we were closed. Provided CCTV of driver just standing looking at our door and not opening it! Came back next day to collect. I asked for refund as I was not impressed with service. But was told I had to have replacement. Went back and forth, being told by three people that parcel could not be stopped. But then I was refunded but not the postage. Had to go back again and seek refund for postage. The service is very low standard. Impossible to get to a higher level or call. Sad to say would never shop with ASDA again,
Dreadful quality joggers, denied a replacement
Purchased a pair of men's joggers that developed holes after a few times of use. I was refused replacement when I went into store as I didn't have the original receipt, despite showing the transaction on my banking app. Will not purchase joggers from then again as the quality has dramatically gone down.

I ordered 6 items from George Asda and two separate packages were dispatched. The first package was 'damaged in transit' and 2 items were returned to sender and a refund issued.
The remaining 4 items arrived around a week after ordering. I could hear the shattered glass as the box was being passed over to me.
I had the choice of either rejecting the whole package or accepting it. Stupidly, I accepted assuming it would be hassle free to return anything that was damaged. Nothing was wrapped, just loose items in a large box. It turns out another 2 items out of the 4 remaining were broken.
Hassle free returns? How stupid of me! The returns policy is painful awkward, I was left with two glass items that had shattered into shards and my options were to literally have a courier collect them or return them to store to get a refund. I took them to store and handed them in at customer service due to the glass.
To top it off, a week has passed and they've claimed to have processed my refund yet I've only received a refund for one of the items.
Asda have gone down the pan, don't order from them, it's not worth the headache.

Item never arrived, was passed about for over two weeks before receiving a part refund.
They told me that, as I had 'used' my £10 evoucher in part payment, that I had lost it!!
Never again will I use this company, in my opinion they are nothing more than scammers.

Ordered size 14 trousers size 18 was sent, I then ordered a dress when I opened my parcel they had sent a jumper. Diabolical in this day and age that asda george cannot get a simple order correct.

Customer service very bad, will never buy from George online again. Sent several emails with no response. Eventually made a complaint which was not acknowledged. Cannot believe for such a big organisation that they find this type of service acceptable.

When order was delivered the completely wrong item was inside. I order a coat i received a pack of childrens underwear. Rang customer services they sent courier to collect underwear and assured me that replacement coat would be delivered, this never arrived. Rang again, told was out of stock and would receive a refund. After several further telephone calls to customer service I am still waiting. Non-existent customer service. They take your money but you are unable to obtain a refund when they fail to deliver!!!!!

It NEVER lets me check out and usually crashes at the payment screen then I refresh and try again and it says card payments unavailable. They must loose so much money from their 💩 website.

Trashy System
I ordered George clothing on 6th February. A message kept coming "There is a problem with the payment details you have submitted. Please check and try again" Checking and entering 5 times. Finally, called the Customer Support who requested a screenshot. He submitted on 6th Feb. NO REPLY received from ASDA. Tried again today following clearing the 'cache'.Same issue. One can't order using computer. Only app!!!! Worst business model. I should be giving MINUS star.
Really peeved now not happy customer today.
Update later this afternoon..after going round in circles I called George Asda the nice male advisor suggested a good way of contacting if a customer doesnt want to phone is via social media but in my case I dont do social media.
Anyway I explained I dont like sorting issues via phone but he was most helpful and has arranged replacement of the last part of my order to be sent to me..so fingers crossed all arrive in the next few days and all arrive not broken !
The 1 star review will remain for the no replies to my contact form emails etc re this part 12 of 12 of order and going round in circles.

Really peeved now. Had a lovely advisor Zizi whom I gave 5 star review for and that still stands as Zizi was brilliant.
This 1 star now is because George Asda still have not given me an update on part 12 of 12 of my order that was due to be delivered on 27/01/2026 ,all I got instead was couple text messages and No Reply email saying delay.
I used their contact us on 30/01/2026 querying when the final part of order was arriving and nothing back,I did it again a few days later and nothing back.
So as Zizi has been so helpful with all the damaged items that arrived from this order I emailed back back via that thread and got a generic Asda No Reply email back sending me round in circles . Not happy at all with stupid No Reply emails and texts that you cant reply to.
Let a good advisor reply at least.
They have my money and I have not received several items I paid for weeks ago.

If I could give zero stars I would. Shocking website...won't let me check out my purchase. Get some random message stating there has been a problem with your payment. Three different cards tried (all valid) even purchased an Asda gift card, still get the same message. Customer service speak from a script, help desk 24 response?. My husband tried setting up an account with his details and email address - same error at checkout.
No wonder the business is going down.
UPDATE -IT dept never came back after 10 days (have I been hacked and they are not telling me?) spoke to them again this morning (18th) been sitting here an hour waiting for a superior to w/up me.👿

I placed an order with Asda George for next day delivery. My order hasn't arrived even though I paid extra for this service. Very difficult to get in touch with customer service. Still no updates on my order but they dont mind taking the money!!
