I have paid a £300 deposit to have a front door supplied and fitted and I am still waiting I have just called and had the phone put down on me I only got chance to say hello they obviously recognise my voice .they do not communicate with you or respond to calls ,texts voice mails or even reviews on trust pilot I am now going to report this to trading standards and ombudsman from a very disappointed customer

Do not do business with these lot at all!

During the Quotation process, the survey process and the installation period, we were generally happy with our choice of GHR Limited. Once the works were finished the problems started. There were a few minor snags which is to be expected, but the level of After Care Service is absolutely appalling. 14 months of broken promises to come and replace scratched glass, replacing broken trims, draft through doors. Taken our money and run with no care or attention to their customers. Be aware if you opt for them for your home improvements. We do not recommend at all.

"We purchased seven windows and two French doors—with cream foils and stained glass for the front of the house—which were first installed in May 2025. From the outset, we experienced several issues. Both French doors were manufactured to open from the wrong side and had to be replaced. One of the window openings was also incorrect, opening from the right instead of the left, which created a significant problem as we have shutters that open the opposite way—something that had been discussed and agreed prior to installation.
There were also inconsistencies in the hardware: the windows were fitted with a mix of chrome and white handles, despite our order specifying chrome throughout. Additionally, five individual panes contained smudges inside the double glazing and had to be taken back and replaced. The cream foil on two of the front windows arrived damaged. Rectifying all these issues required multiple visits over several months.
To be fair, Andy was very helpful over the phone and did assist in ensuring the earlier problems were eventually resolved.
However, we have since encountered a further issue: the bedroom French door no longer closes properly because the bottom shoot bolt does not actuate. I am unsure whether this fault was present from installation or whether the mechanism has failed since, but the door has been opened fewer than fifteen times, as it leads to an upstairs balcony that remains closed due to having a toddler. The problem only became apparent during the cold winter months, when a draft began blowing through a 2 mm gap between the door and the frame.
This issue was reported to GHR on 6 October 2025. I was advised that it would be fixed, yet I have still not received confirmation of a repair date. Despite several attempts to follow up, I continue to be told that I will be given a date—but none has been provided, and no repair has been carried out. As this is a bedroom door, the room has remained extremely cold throughout the winter.
Additionally, we have never received any warranty documentation or a FENSA certificate, even though GHR confirmed they were FENSA‑approved at the time of ordering, and the windows were sold with a ten‑year warranty".

Ghrltd replied with the following on January 16th 2026:
"Hi Stuart, we are sorry you are having these issues with our products and would like to sort these issues you are having. Someone from our installation department will contact you within the next 48 hours to arrange a date for one of our engineers to visit the property and rectify the issues. In regard to your guarantee certificate you should have received it via email, however I will investigate this for you."

Since this response on Trustpilot, there has been no contact by Ghrltd to myself to sort the issues as they claimed would happen. There has been no warranty documentation sent over via email as claimed. I would also note that the absence of FENSA documentation was also ignored in the response on 16/01/2026. It would appear that Ghrltd are happy to respond to bad Trustpilot reviews so that it seems they are trying to resolve the issue but do not actually follow through with the resolution that they publicly proposed.

We paid £2000 so materials could be got, they assured me that they could do the roof with solar panels on. They started obviously didn’t know how to remove solar panels were trying to move the panels further up the roof & removed tiles underneath tearing the felt in the process. They placed the solar panels on the torn felt& finished for the day leaving roof uncovered .During the night it rained snowed / sleet all of which poured through the roof into a bedroom& lounge dripping over sofa carpets staining decorating& blowing light fitting , The day after they went to purchase a tarpaulin which they put on & left. Shortly after they left I noticed the window bottom covered in water & rain was pouring in around window frame ,I informed them they said they would see me shortly that was 11 am by 3 pm I couldn’t wait any longer & had to get someone else to come & sort the problem ,by this time I had enough & said I am cancelling this job as I have no confidence in their work. So the y then took all the materials that had been delivered which I had paid £2000 for.& have not refunded any money as yet.they said the leaking conservatory was due to main roof in fact after having g the roof done it was found d it was in fact the conservatory roof at fault which after sealant was put round the edges of rubber roof leak was cured so I had no need for new main roof hence I could have saved thousands by not having new roof

Just had a door fitted great job great lads and made my kitchen a lot warmer would defo recommend thank you guys

Please guys, be careful of scammers. Always make sure you don't make any deposit payment before the commencement of your job. You can pay on the milestone covered or, at best, when they complete the job.
Also try to confirm the company exists on the ground, not just online. Once your money is gone, that is it. Scammers' target is on the deposit, not on the entire cost; once they get it, that is it. very bad experience.

We recently had a new orangery built and are really pleased with the result. Stewart, Andy, and the team were great throughout the process—professional, helpful, and hardworking. Although there was a delay at one stage, Steven stepped in and resolved everything quickly and efficiently, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the service was excellent, and we would highly recommend them.

Had my front door fitted this morning. The lads came and did a wonderful job cleaned up after. Fast efficient and most of all stress free. Would definitely recommend thank you GHR!!!

Conservatory rebuild, Rotherham. Out of all the quotes I received for my project only GHR could give me what I wanted within my budget. Andrew actually exceeded my expectations and came in with a firm quote that was a thousand pounds less than the next best - and offered a better spec. He kept in touch throughout the build and introduced me to Stuart their main builder and project manager. A few weeks later his team were onsite and I watched the build progress over the next few days. Stuart was always on hand to answer questions and explain the process. His team worked well into the evening and were meticulous in keeping the area tidy. Now it’s finished I am extremely pleased with my new conservatory and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Top company and were very professional in their dealings with me. Just remember that Stuart is powered by coffee and biscuits and you can’t go wrong!

The team from GHR fitted a really great orangery for us. A brilliant upgrade on the slightly tired conservatory we had before. Fantastic quality and price. They also kept the workplace tidy and removed all of the scrap.

Friendly, honest, very competitive prices. Fitters work until all hours to make sure the job is done to a very high standard. Highly recommend.

Professional from start to finish. I am so pleased with the gutters, fascia's and flat roof they have completed. The lads worked really hard andci would definitely use the company again and recommend them 😀

Absolute craftsmanship from Stuart, Nathan & Furqa.
They fitted 5 new double glazed leaded window’s, worked incredibly hard and stayed late to finish them.
They were polite, professional and friendly.
They cleaned up beautifully.

We would recommend using them for windows and doors. We used them to replace our old timber windows and install new sliding and french patio doors and add a new cutout window. The whole team were brilliant - especially the fitters, they did a really good job and were very professional.

Honestly so over the moon with the end result, they put thought into every single step they were taking. There’s not a single thing out of place. Late starts could be an issue for some however as long as the work is done as scheduled we didn’t have much of a problem with it.
We will definitely be using them with the rest of the work we still have to do.

A huge thank you to Steven and his amazing team! From start to finish, the whole experience has been excellent. Stuart and Nathan are not only very professional builders, but also extremely detail-oriented. Every brick, every joint, every little detail was carried out with great care, and the quality of their workmanship really shows.

What impressed me most is how dedicated and hardworking the entire team was throughout the project. They always kept things tidy, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was done to the highest standard. It gave me real peace of mind knowing that the work was in such capable hands.

On top of that, the price was very fair and reasonable compared with others. For the quality and service I received, I genuinely think it was excellent value.

Excellent 5* work from start to finish. Steven and his team are excellent. Superfast work and really cleaned job. After work cleaned up proper. I had conservatory roof done from polystyrene sheets to tapco tiles and inside complete ceiling with skimming and spot lights. I would recommend this company to everyone.
