Order never received!!!
I made this order, and I never received it, I have made two calls to customer service and neither of the two people wanted to help me, the last Eva sent me to the police to make a police report when the only ones who have to have the responsibility that their customers receive the merchandise for which they paid are you GILT and now they don't want responsibility, I spent $875 dollars and now I don't have the money or the bag, they are terrible in customer service if I had imagined this I would never have spent so much money with you, understand that anyone throws a photo and anyone takes the box, ask for a signature to make sure that people receive their order and are not so mediocre to lose a customer like that without more, regretted a thousand times for having been your customer since last year, and their terrible customer service, they have the same ridiculous answer for any question.Thanks for NO HELP
return policy is ridiculous
Gilt is shady and likes to withhold shipping costs even when they send you the wrong item. I ordered Birkenstocks, and was sent "soft footbed" Birkenstocks even though the listing did not advertise them as soft footbed. I called to initiate a return and the woman said I would have to pay return shipping. I said NO, I'm not paying return shipping for an item that was listed inaccurately. She agreed to waive the fee- good, right? I then waited almost 2 weeks for incredibly SLOW return shipping before I received my refund, which was not the full refund because the gilt return shipping fee was withheld. I then called customer service AGAIN, asking for my fee to be refunded, and the woman agreed. I'm tallying up the numbers now and realizing I was never refunded for my initial shipping COST to have the Birkenstocks shipped to my house. So, they intended to charge me for the initial shipping PLUS return shipping (roughly $25) all for an item that was LISTED INCORRECTLY FROM THE JUMP. Ridiculous. Never shopping at Gilt again.

Everything went wrong from the products not reflecting as shown. To refund not being generated, deception, deception, deception. Wrong sizes, measurements, customer service experience less than Walmart for a high end store. Overall poorest Service.
I will give this company a zero star. Unfortunately that is not an option. I purchased couple of items from this company, Two dresses were great with unexpected good quality. But the Christine Louboutin shoes and Alexander McQueen purse were my headache. And those came up to a whooping $1250 Cad. My hard end money with no return, refund or exchange simply because I am an international shopper from Canada. Please Run for your life with everything you own.
I am a size 9.5, but shoes came looking like a 7 or 8 even though I went half a size up 10 as encouraged on their website. I reached out to Gilt for a refund or better still an exchanged into something I can actually wear. It was like going multiple interviews without a gainful employment. Three (3) representative, Tiffany, Christina & Andrea all kept coming with same answers with item being a final sale or as per picture, nothing is wrong with item. Are u kidding me? How is it my fault when sizes are falsified for purpose of a sale. Or proper measurement is not provided? I am above upset at this point. This is my hard end money.
Now to the Bag - Alexander McQueen The ball bundle small shoulder bag. Please check it and see how nicely the picture looks - Small is what I was going for. Only for me to rec'd an item looking like a duffle or gym bag. Does not even weren't $533.49 what I paid. I used a tape to size it myself, and the sizes were out at least 4 inches length, height and weight. Reason it didn't meet my expectation. This item wasn't on sale and available for return. I was asked to submit pictures of the item, which I did, but Andrea came back with this bull-s, there is nothing wrong with it. What was it not meeting my expectation mean to you? Means, it wasn't as described, you provided misleading and falsified info. on your product, you are not customer friendly especially to international shoppers. International shipping should be available for returns in all regions, as we can't really see what we purchase. But blindly believing your deceptive measurements.
I am out $1250 Cad and I need my money back. I refused to go down without a fight. This is your fault not mind. Provide us with exact info. as product, get and train better and educative staffs who are empathetic. This is money we are talking about not water. Only a fraudster will loose that amount of money and don't complain. Unfortunately, I am not one. I work hard for every dime. So do not play with my money.
I am still looking to hear from someone with reasonable answers to my compliant or exchanging these items into something I can actually utilize. I am tired of receiving daily emails from your company with no resolution. Wasting my precious time only to runout the 21 days return policy. I NEED MY MONEY BACK. I AM ALSO FLEXIBLE WITH AN EXCHANGE AT THIS POINT.
Time wasted is life abuse. I do not like wasting my time, but that is exactly what your company have done to me. Please re-evaluate your return policy, customer service strategies, method of doing business. Hire people who can actually provide realistic measurements. Honesty is the best policy, be empathetic to peoples plights; because nothing good comes easy, including their sweat for survival. My money matters to me if it means nothing to you.
There should be qualify, trained individual to handle matters like mine - one individual until problem is resolved. Not a melting pot of 'who's turn is it anyways'.
DECEPTIVE - DECEPTIVE - DECEPTIVE. But there is always room for improvement. And you are at luck because I am a strong believer of second changes. Notwithstanding, I still want my money back or a product that meets my standard.

Seems Gilt is selling more items not…
Seems Gilt is selling more items not listed as used but they are returns and some used from my experience. I return them immediately due to the deception in the listing not disclosing the item is not new, or previously owned or a return. Its now like a hit or miss with them.
My order came in 2 shipments
My order came in 2 shipments. One arrived without a problem. The other was tracked as delivered but never arrived. Customer service refused to refund or reship. Never again!

I ordered 3 tshirts from James Perse and ATM . It was shipped on 01/04.
Tracking was at awaiting dispatch for several days so I contacted customer care. I always got a reply. After a week's time DHL express sent me an email w/ tracking info and all in all my package got here in 10 days. That's international shipping. Package was handled with care. Products are authentic. I'm just very happy because everything was as described and I only paid a third of the price it would have cost me otherwise.
My experience was great and I'll be back for more🥰
Have used Gilt for years
Have used Gilt for years. Beware, though, of ordering facial products… more times than not the item comes half full and without sealant. It’s as if someone from the warehouse takes some of the product before shipping or they are sending an item returned by someone else. I have informed Gilt of the issue, several times, to no avail. My most recent experiences, however, make me want to reconsider giving them my business. As of recent, I had several items to return. Gilt has made me feel like a criminal for needing to return items. When I ask to speak with a supervisor, the supervisor meets me with snobbery. On one refund, Gilt removed $108 from my account and then put it back. After that move by Gilt, they say the refund has been completed. They never refunded my money… they simply depleted my account then put the funds back!! I feel cheated on so many levels. I’m certain Gilt uses a third party service for their customer service… a horribly trained customer service. Gilt doesn’t seem to care. Sad.
WARNING: Gilt Withheld My Refund – $2,500 Stolen – Legal Action Started
I placed an order with Gilt in December. It’s now April, and I still haven’t received my $2,500 refund.
They charged my credit card. Instead of refunding the money to my original payment method, they claimed to issue a Gilt account credit — which I never asked for.
When I log into "my" account, there is no credit visible, and nothing is applied at checkout. Their terms say it should appear — but it doesn’t.
This is not a mistake. This is theft!!
I now officially initiate legal action, and I’m in the process of filing reports with the Better Business Bureau, consumer protection agencies, and potentially the Attorney General's office.
If anyone else has experienced this kind of fraudulent behavior from Gilt, I encourage you to join me in a class action lawsuit. This company should not be allowed to continue operating like this.
SCAM
SCAM! DO NOT USE! Terrible experience. Bought a new place and tried to order a table. They cancelled the order (without notifying me) because the billing and shipping addresses were different. I called to ask if they could look into it, they said nothing they could do. Furthermore, the table is now $110 more than it was when I bought it, and they won't honor original pricing. DO NOT USE!
Issues with Customer Service
Substandard customer service. Customer is being expected to contact customer service again and again to track down a refund. Customer Service wrote that a refund was initiated with refund completed within 3-5 business days. However, 3 months have passed and nothing happened.
I followed up again and they said the same thing that it will be processed in 3-5 days. I asked Customer Service to please confirm back to me when the refund is completed, since last time despite the promise, nothing happened. I asked a couple of times for this proof of processing when completed and am having a difficult time getting an acknowledgement.

Same issue as many others. Received a damaged product and have sent multiple emails, but responses take forever. When I finally get a reply, it's just the same repetitive questions with no real resolution. They refuse to refund—even when you're willing to return the product—and only offer store credit. This company used to be great, but not anymore. Unfortunately, they've lost another customer.
Sent out worn shoes
I got a pair of boots. They came ruined. The leather was scratched up. They had been worn for weeks. Requested a return and they charged me for shipping both ways. Even though it was their mistake.

“A ticket” couple days later the emailed response was: The package was delivered so we can not help you, refund the money or send you another pair of shoes” GILT completely ignored my report that an EMPTY SHOE BOX was delivered. No comment about them looking into it either with THEIR EMPLOYEES whom would be the only folk aware of the purchase-what the PACKAGED CONTENTS should have been, neither did they say that FED X the carrier would be contacted. GILT totally overlooked and took NO RESPONSIBILITY then dismissed me.
First time this has ever happened in all of my years of online ordering from anywhere. GILT has lost a long time shopper for sure. GILT’s behavior suggests that they ARE AWARE of their apparent THEFT problems there but choose to ignore it by not even addressing the issue.

First time ordered from Gilt. I ordered some Burberry glasses & some Tom ford glasses. They sent me some Michael kors glasses instead of Tom ford. I was in disbelief. The return process was insane because they have no real customer service and takes over 5-7 days to respond to an email or chat. Finally they sent me a return label to ship back. But it’s been over 30 days and I still haven’t received my refund or even a store credit. I guess they want me to just forget about it. I reached back out, I guess I have to wait another 7 days to get a response. They need to shut down and go back to the drawing board.
Gilt is a scam company that uses 3rd party distributors. They take no accountability of damaged or missing goods. DO NOT USE THEM.
Gilt.com does not ship from their own warehouse, they go through a third-party distributor called VLC distribution located in Texas. I know this because I ordered a citizen, pro master fugu and they sent me an empty citizen watch case. After several conversations with their customer service, as well as sending pictures and documentation, they refuse to help me in any way shape or form. Their customer service went to the great lengths to be incredibly rude to me because I wasn’t using the proper semantics for my town name (I live in “Brick” New Jersey, the lady wouldn’t further my case until I said “Brick Township”, Very petty). I currently have a credit card case going against them, and will never purchase or recommend anyone buy from them again. They straight up stole $260 from me, and as a first time customer of theirs, this was probably the worst experience one could have. This is a scam company that uses third parties to distribute their goods, and they take no accountability for damaged or missing merchandise. Stay away, eBay or other options are much better.

Recieved damaged product without follow up
I have been using Gilt since they began. I will no longer. They sent me designer boots I ordered, that were damaged (both boots) in a box that was damaged, but the box they mailed it in was fine. No quality check. I contacted them and yes, they refunded my money, but no follow up after I sent pictures and comments. Terrible quality control and customer service.
