Over all decent enough company driver's are sound and price is cheap compared to black hacks and uber who just rip you off to a different level would recommend this company 100 present don't be put off by the bad reviews I think people just like to complain because they can

I’ve booked this company a few times and the Taxi does not turn up on time! Communication is Pure and the operator puts the phone down.

I absolutely adore this company! It’s amazing because I never have to wait long, and the drivers are always really polite, kind, and helpful. Plus, the prices are always a very good deal. Compared to Uber—I used that company a few times and wish I never did 🤢.

​Once I left my phone by accident and the driver returned without asking for anything, but I did tip him of course! For that, I have been using Glasgow Cabs for years now, the app is absolutely wonderful too.

​And then if you have to call the call centre, I've never had a bad experience because they are super polite and helpful. I'm a very anxious and nervous person and struggle to even do a taxi, but that's exactly why I love this company! Because it seems like they actually care 💛.

Worst taxi service - pre book taxi and taxi didn’t arrived for 15 min after booking time in the morning, called them - they said taxi is on the way. Waited for 10 min and still taxi on app showing 8 min. Called them to cancel and they are charging £5 fees because they can’t send taxi on time even after understanding that train/ flights don’t wait for passengers but passengers have to wait for taxi for more then 30 min.

U guys need to improve ur customer service agent … they are rude and don’t know how to communicate adequately with customer !!

The company needs to be able to provide adequate receipts and journey confirmation. Place of pickup and drop off for EVERY journey. None were present in our last few journeys which required receipts. When asked for email receipt I was simply ignored. Unprofessional and apalling customer care. Going UBER

I booked a private hire car via their app for my sister after she was discharged from the hospital. The booking was officially confirmed at a fixed "Pay in Vehicle" tariff of £26.20.
Instead of using the app's official payment system, the driver bypassed the company structure entirely. He demanded a personal Revolut transfer upfront and forced an additional transfer upon arrival, overcharging us a total of £33.00.
When I complained, a manager named Peter Kelso was hostile. Over the phone, he tried to justify the driver's actions. When I followed up by email, he told me to "STOP e-mailing me." He then explicitly stated in writing that he was removing my customer account from their database with immediate effect and told me to take my business elsewhere.
They eventually returned the £7.00 overcharge, but deleting a customer's account as retaliation for reporting financial misconduct is shocking. A formal complaint has been logged and an investigation is active with the Glasgow City Council Licensing Section. I have preserved full photographic evidence of the booking receipts, Revolut transactions, and the manager's emails. Avoid this operator if you expect fair pricing and professional safety standards.

Excellent service, picked my boy up with a broken bike, only had a tracking lo cation and driver drove round round till he found him, can't thank yous enough, great service 👍

Only giving a 1 star because 0 stars isn’t an option. If you want to be somewhere on time, DO NOT PRE BOOK WITH GLASGO CABS!!!! Almost missed a train because of it, luckily UBER came in clutch and was accepted within 1 min of booking, so If you try to call glasgo cabs to find out where your taxi is, you’ll either be met with a man who hangs up instantly or a girl, who has the most stinkiest attitude ever, she was rude, and shouldn’t be working on phones if that’s how she talks to PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! The whole company needs to be shut down, they clearly do not care about it, just an excuse for them all to make money. All deserve to be out of a job. Horrible company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I called glasgo cabs as I was running late for work. I have used this location for pick up in the past without a problem but for some reason I was refused the hire and was even told to call another company.

Very poor customer service and they where very blunt with me on the call.

I won't be using this amateur company again and I recommend others do the same.

Pre-booked via the app, smooth service! Managed to get to/from where we needed to be when Uber was showing no cars available!

I ordered a taxi from a bar. The app took my booking and I waited 20 minutes with app saying it was still allocating a driver.

Next thing I know I got a notification saying I was a no show and my booking had been cancelled.

I rebooked straight away, was allocated a driver and got picked up quickly. But I was still charged a £5 no show fee.

I emailed customer support to explain but they won't refund the fee even though I wasn't allocated a driver for the first booking.

Sincere thanks to the staff who helped us tonight when a friend left their phone in a car. The two staff who dealt with it were so helpful and the driver returned the phone to my friend’s home. Couldn’t ask for better help and support. The compassion they showed was an extra bonus. Thank you!!!

If I could give this no stars I would! They are unbelievable- pre bookings are pointless, they don’t guarantee pick up when you book. The customer service staff are dreadful and fob you off - I got told I was next in the queue after waiting 15 mins past collection time, only to be left waiting for an additional 20 mins and 2 further phone calls before a taxi was dispatched. Absolutely disgracful!

Terrible service. I had deleted this app some time ago, but I decided to download it again, and now I remember exactly why I removed it in the first place.

I have had several very negative experiences with drivers, including intimidating and inappropriate comments about my physical appearance. To make matters worse, during my most recent trip, the driver refused to take me to the city centre because the Transmit Festival was taking place and he did not want to make the journey.

As a result, I had to get out of the taxi and travel by train instead. To add insult to injury, I have still not received a refund for the fare that was charged.

If you need to get somewhere on time, don’t use this company.

They Don’t arrive on time when pre booked. I booked for the airport in advance, the driver hadn’t even been assigned the job or dispatched until at least 20mins over my booking time. Driver was lovely and very good, it’s the company and the driver assignment delay that are unreliable and the issue here.

Worst service ever. I booked an airport transfer online, but at the scheduled pickup time they called to inform me that they couldn't send a car. This put me in a very difficult situation and nearly caused me to miss my trip.

To make matters worse, the lady who called hung up on me while I was trying to explain the urgency of my situation and how important it was for me to get to the airport on time.

This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable airport transfer service.

Useless pre-booking system. Driver always later than booked time. No managers available to help out. Utter disgrace!
