We just received our S3 today 7/16

UPDATE 8/6/24: BUYER BEWARE!!! Well, just as I was afraid of, I could not lift the unit as it was far too heavy. According to their website when I first saw the S3, it stated “FREE shipping and FREE returns”. I have a screenshot of the website where it claims this. This was a major reason I decided to try the unit in the first place. Glashow did understand the reason for my return however their stated policy of “FREE RETURNS” was extremely misleading and I was forced to pay $289 to ship it back to them, all because I opened the box! They said they were “sorry” that I misinterpreted the website! This is absolutely ridiculous! How can a customer examine the unit without opening the box? Other companies state you can at least have 2 days to examine the unit and they pay for return shipping with no restocking fees! It’s a shame Glashow refused to pay for my shipping and even refused to SPLIT the shipping costs with me. This made a bad situation worse, and now I can not recommend this unit.
INITIAL REVIEW: We just received our S3 today 7/16. FedEx was very good and was here on time. The packaging had a few holes in it but it did not bother the S3. Packaging was excellent. We had some difficulty getting the seat down with the handle to collapse the scooter but finally we were able to do it. Hopefully this will get easier. It is a bit heavy at the back end and I am hoping with practice I can lift it into my car. It may be challenging at 71 yrs old! Overall, so far, everything was working fine and we followed the directions to do all the checks before riding it around the house. Rides smoothly. The horn and reverse sounds are not as bad as some other reviewers thought! The turning radius is a bit wide and it is fast at 2 mph on slow. If you can make this lighter by about 10 - 15 lbs it would be awesome for us older folks. If I have to return it, it would be because I couldn’t lift it in the car. I really hope this isn’t the case. We’ll see. Also your customer service is excellent!

Sturdy and powerful

Quick delivery, easy set up, high quality product. This scooter is for my 92-yr-old mother. It came quickly and was easy to get started right out of the box. I have driven it on our hilly property and it is sturdy and easily able to climb small hills. It brakes automatically. It feels like it can tip if turning on a hill. It eould be absolutely dependable on sidewalks. So glad I got it!

Fast delivery

They were very fast on getting the scooter sent to us which I appreciate, however they sent the wrong color and didn’t include the decal with my moms name on it.
All in all it’s a very nice scooter. My mom was disappointed she didn’t get the red one but the gray one is very nice.

Support was excellent until now

S upport was excellent until May 29. At that point they wanted me to try all kinds tests and parts replacement until I could do no more. I am an old disabled man with Multiple Slorosis. The scooter is still under warranty, but they began ignoring my requests for help.

I received before showing as shipped

I received before showing as shipped. Unpacked and assembled in 5 minutes. Very sturdy and easy to ride. The scooter also made my wife very happy because now I do not have an excuse for not taking her on vacation.

I made a great decision buying this scooter.

Sent them an email right after I placed my order for the S3 on their website after they closed. I was concerned when I had read about people complaining about the loudness , and they were offering stickers to cut down the volume. They contacted me by phone early the next day to tell me that the stickers were to be shipped at the same time the scooter was to be shipped. The scooter was shipped very fast, and it's very nice. Quality construction, fully charged out of the box. Easy to maneuver around my my house which is a lot like an obstacle course. I won't hesitate to give them a high five for customer care, quality, and ease of use. Thank you Glashow!

This scooter is perfect (model S3)!!!

This scooter is perfect!!! I just returned from a cruise and the experience of NOT having a mobility device is still very fresh in my mind. It arrived 3 days after ordering with clear instructions in rather large print (important). It took me 5 minutes to set it up and start rolling around. The BIG differences from other brands are: larger wide and soft wheels (easy to roll even on cobble stones), charged battery works for 25 miles (most brands have only 10 miles), foldable seat and tiller and battery doesn't have to be removed for charging (very important for air trave) and swivel seat.

I bought the S-3 for my wife

I bought the S-3 for my wife. I took the time to test it out on various terrains around the neighborhood and was very impressed with its stability, smooth ride and easy handling.
I was so impressed that I will be ordering a S-1 for myself in the near future.

Scooter was well packaged and delivered…

Scooter was well packaged and delivered undamaged. Fedex folks did a good job with no issues. Scooter functioned out of the box and I was able to use it after following the inclosed instructions. Smooth driving and quick. My first outing went great. The scooter folds up and fits perfect in my vehicle. Weight is not an issue, my wife and I together lifted it up and in with no problems.
