I've used this device for months and have noticed VERY LITTLE improvement in age spots and spider veins. I use it at the highest setting and do the treatments weekly. In the past, I have paid big money for professional IPL treatments, and the glow atelier device is a very weak comparison.

I purchased the Glow Atelier IPL device several months ago. I fully agree that the instructions are insufficient. However, they are pretty quick at responding to emails. However, after two plus months of using the device, the few dark spots I had have only grown darker. I have had IPL at my dermatologist office and I was prepared for the darkening of the treated area. However, not only have the existing spots become darker, but my arms are now covered in dark spots. The single dark spot on my jaw has only darkened. Not one spot has vanished after more than 2 months. Also, be warned that the company recommends through email not to use any acids while using this device. This is left out of the instructions and advertisements. This means that you must not use Vit C, Retinols, Glycolic acid toners, or any AHA or BHA products while using this device. These are products I use every day in my skin care regime. They keep my pores clean and my skin glassy. If the G.A. IPL device results were immediate, this would be of no consequence. However, the results are not anything close to immediate. So far, I have not seen any improvements. In my opinion, this device is a total waste of time, money and the beauty of my skin.

I have so many products and love them all. I have dehydrated skin and for the first time ever saw a difference after using a combo of products from Glow!

I had some additional questions on how to use the glass ipl photo facial, specifically for use on my legs to help reduce the appearance of my spider veins. I wasn't sure what setting or level of intensity was best for treating these areas. I contacted them via their email on their website and got help very quickly. I've seen some negative reviews here about the instruction manual, I think it's best to remember this device is supposed to be used on the face, so if some people are like myself and wanting to use it on other areas of the body, the manual doesn't fully cover that. Which I believe is fair given the fact it is a facial skincare & hair removal device. Anyways, I emailed them and got a very detailed response within a day! I am looking forward to seeing results with more long term and consistent use!

I am writing a second time because yes, your device contains instructions for how to turn the device on and off, settings, etc., but nothing that precisely states how to get results and your video is no better. What is needed: (Examples made up by me)
For brown spots on leg, use device on leg setting on automatic and place on spot as desired intensity 5 times in succession every other day for a week.
Similar, specific and complete directions are needed for hair removal, etc.

I love it! I never thought I could have a device like this that is so easy to use. I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks.
The reason for 4 Stars is that the device does not come on easily, I have to take a lot of time to get it to turn on. Also, the buttons switch themselves if you're not careful! Thanks very much!

I have never been able to use the item I purchased! Let me repeat, it has never been used so you should be able to exchange it for another one because it never turned on. As a small business you should be doing everything you can to make your customers happy. You should back up everything you sell. I will do everything in my power to let everyone know how you conduct business.

My device came promptly and appears to be what it is described to be. I have not had it long enough to determine how efficient it is, but it is easy to use and painless. I need to use it longer to determine if it does what it claims to do.

I purchased the IPL Glass Facial device. I am only 3 weeks in and I have been using it as instructed, 3 times a week. So far so good. Immediately after my first use my skin was glowing on my face and neck. I am also using it everywhere else allowed. I have not had results on my legs. But I can honestly say my arm hairs quickly became brittle and then disappeared. Yes, I was too afraid to shave my arms prior to use. Thank goodness that didn't matter. They are as smooth as butter now, with no new growth showing. I'm really hoping in time to also lose some of my sun damage, fingers crossed. In conclusion If you are looking for a great device and at an amazing price... buy this! WARNING do not go over tattoos(my foot/ankle). It was a sore mistake that will not be repeated on level 5 :)
