In 2011 i decided on Golden Charter Simple Way funeral plan, that was 15yrs ago. Now i have changed my views, and at 72yrs do not want what will be left of my family, to put them through a funeral. So Golden Charter have been great, and changed my plan to Direct Cremation. and also gave me a refund which i did not expect. I recieved excellent service and help from every one i had contact with, and i am very happy. So thank you again for makeing the change so easy.

Having initially discussed funeral options for my wife who was in ill health with my family, we made the decision that, due to our wide circle of friends, a simple cremation was not an option and we decided to take the complete plan naming a local well respected undertaker.
At the time of my wife’s passing, all arrangements were taken care of without fuss which was very helpful at a distressing time.
Tracey was very helpful with advice on setting up the plan and I have now taken out a plan for myself so that my family with have the same care when I pass on.

I bought a funeral plan some years ago before unattended plans were a thing.
I decided that I would prefer this simpler option and was delighted that Golden Charter were able to change my plan.
They were very helpful and explained all that was involved.
I even received a substantial refund!
Everything was quick and efficient.

Ths company was recommended by my local funeral directors. Lorraine was very helpful and patient answering all of my questions regarding the plans available. I have now got my chosen plan In place and received all the documents promptly.

After a long wait to speak to someone Jayne was very helpful in reassuring me that an additional car shown in my original plan was still included, even though it is not shown in the latest review.
