Excellent experience from start to finish

We stayed for a week in a property managed by Golden Luxe and everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Communication was always clear and, and the team was consistently helpful and responsive.
The apartment was spotless on arrival, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a comfortable long stay. Any small question we had during the week was addressed quickly and with great courtesy.
Overall, a very positive experience. We felt well taken care of and would definitely book with them again.

Complete scam. I booked a month long stay in a house managed by Golden Luxe, listed on air BnN. Ten days prior to check in they said the heating was broken and they couldn't guarantee it would be fixed.
They firstly tried to get us to switch to a small run down apartment twice the price and tried to convince us it was "much nicer". We said it wasn't suitable. We gave a couple of days to call trades people and find out if the boiler could be fixed. Then they stopped responding. We told them to cancel our reservation if they could not guarantee the property would be available (because of course we need time to book another accommodation and there was not a lot remaining in the area). They refused to respond to us or Air BnB staff.
We repeatedly begged them to either confirm the property would be available or else cancel but they just wouldn't respond. In the end the reservation was cancelled less than 48 hours before check in. By that time no other suitable properties were available in the area and I had to take the day off work to plan an entirely new 4 week holiday in a completely different city in 24 hours. They turned our dream vacation into a horrible stressful experience. Its a common scam on Air BnB apparently. I would never book a property through them, and I certainly wouldn't trust them to manage any of my properties either.
