They took two years of rubbish from our Strata building
Got a good quote for removing two years of junk from 59 apartments in our building. The price went up a little because we added more stuff to the pile after they inspected.

Overpriced
Two very friendly men arrived with a van and big truck to dismantle and remove small metal shed. They did the job well. My issue is the confusion re the costs: My understanding was that the quote would be determined on site. However, the price had already been set before arrival at $480. On the phone the guy in the office said $150 per hour (for 2 persons), $110 per cubic metre. It was only half hour work, and maybe just over one cubic metre of metal (which--I believe--is not expensive to dispose of). So that does not add up to $480. Both guys admitted it's only a $200 job. I got a $50 discount at the end. I think the $10 discount for a nice review is a bit suspicious as well. I spoke to the guy in the office in the office--claims he only makes $62 on this job-- not sure how this is determined if you haven't actually seen what the job involves. Won't be using them again.

Hi Agnes Schutter,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly value your insights and feedback, as they will help us improve our service quality and ensure client satisfaction.
We understand that $420 can feel like a lot, but unfortunately, our running costs are high. Our trucks are expensive to operate, and we hire licensed LR and MR drivers who we pay fairly. Additionally, this booking involved light demolition, which contributes to labour costs. To ease your concerns, we have offered two discounts, amounting to $60 in total.
We strive to offer competitive rates while ensuring quality service. Our fees cover administrative costs, labor, recycling, transportation, and more, as outlined in both the quote and the final invoice. While our fees may not be the cheapest, they are affordable and reasonable given the quality we provide.
We hope this makes sense. If you have any further questions or need assistance in the future, please feel free to reach out. Your input is valuable to us! You can call us at 0400 833 433, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you once again, and have a nice day!
Best regards,
The Goodbye Junk Team
