Deep-plane neck and face lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty and brow lift.
If you are reading this review, then you are in the position I was in some 12 months ago. I felt that I no longer looked like the person I felt like, and through research I learned about what could be done to realign my appearance with how I felt. It started with requests for information from numerous clinics in Turkey.
After speaking with several clinics, studying reviews and comparing services and prices I spoke with Sia, a member of Doctor Atsal's team. I immediately felt comfortable with our encounter and what was to become a relationship of respect and trust was established. There was never any 'hard sell'. Only care and guidance.
Meeting Dr Gorkem Atsal for the very first time via Teams reassured me that this was the person in whom I would place my trust. Meeting Dr Atsal in person confirmed my initial feelings.
And almost 3 months after my procedure I know that my instincts were correct. Dr Atsal indeed, all his team, are kind, honest, gentle and caring. The expert hands of Dr Atsal have delivered a great result for me. And my wife!! Yes, we took this journey together!!
Taking the decision to put your appearance in the hands of another is not to be taken lightly. I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Atsal. Talented hands and a warm heart with an excellent team makes Dr. Atsal the perfect choice.

After contacting many clinics in turkey I decided to go ahead with dr Gorkem Atsal due to several reasons. Gulce, the coordinator was responsive, understanding and empathetic. This together with Dr Atsals reviews, the before and after pictures, personal interaction with other clients that had the same surgery with positive outcomes and feedback, plus the reasonable price for me was the deciding factor.
Overall the experience was smooth running I was as promised collected to and from the airport in a very nice luxury carrier, and to all hospital runs. I had 2 nights stay in the hospital as well as my hotel paid for including my partner so all was correct & as agreed in the initial consultation and invoice. I was happy with my surgery in fact over the moon now I’m back to my younger self which reflect my character. I recovered as expected however I will emphasise the healing is not complete until at least 6 months it really does take time although don’t be put off as it certainly doesn’t look bad in the lead up months just so much better after 6 months. The after care & communication once I got back home after the op to months later is still consistent like with the initial first contact I had with the team. Everything from talking to Yasemin at the very beginning to leaving Istanbul has been outstanding.

Dr Gorkem was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I went with him. I had revision rhinoplasty with Dr Gorkem after having primary rhinoplasty 10 years ago in the UK. My first rhinoplasty was not what I asked for and I had been unhappy with my nose for a long time. I told Dr Gorkem exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t want. He explained why my nose wasn’t right and what he was going to do to correct it. I was a little bit nervous that my new nose wouldn’t suit my face, but Dr Gorkem has given me the most natural nose which is in proportion to my facial features and which is exactly what I asked for. I am only 2 months post opp and still have some swelling but I am already in love with my new nose. I’d definitely recommend Dr Gorkem to anyone thinking about rhinoplasty. His whole team are super helpful and attentive and their English is also really good! Special thank you to Yasemin who was my patient co-ordinator who was so helpful and was always there to answer my questions 24/7 via WhatsApp.

I went for upper and lower blepharoplasty at this Clinic with Dr Görkem.

The communication before and after has been fantastic- regular check ins before and afterward, Also answering all my questions before surgery in full detail.

The transfers ran smoothly and efficiently.

All the staff were supportive, friendly and very professional making me feel calm and relaxed at all times.

The hospital was very accommodating and 5 star spotless.

From start to finish my experience and surgery was a 100% positive and they really do take care of everything.

Would definitely recommend and wish I'd of gone for my surgery sooner

Dr Gorkem Astal clinic. I came to Turkey to get tummy tuck, inner thigh and arm lift plus liposuction. The team from the clinic are amazing they arrange everything from airport transport, accommodation and transfers to and from hospital. Highly recommend the clinic and the team, surgery was smooth and without complications, surgery Saturday back to hotel Tuesday. Hospital was ok not the same as you get in Australia, nurses very friendly but just need to Monitor patients a bit better and more often, this would be my only slight negative thing. Doctor was very informative and made sure you knew what was happening and what to do after surgery. Honestly I have heard some horror stories about surgery in turkey and we did a lot of research before deciding on tho clinic, if you choose this team you won’t be disappointed and they treat you like family. I am very happy with my results to date and can’t wait to see the end results in several months, everyday is an improvement and you feel better. If you choose this clinic you will not be disappointed

I had breast argumentation, with lift, Thigh lift, Arm lift and 360 liposuction.
I was nervous about going abroad to have the surgeries but it was so much cheaper than in the UK. A few of my friends have been to Turkey for operations and all of them said they would go back again. I chose the Gorman clinic as they have some amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did.

Nilsu my coordinator was fantastic. made me feel so relaxed about it all , She was super friendly. She talked me through the procedures. What would happen , how/where they would take place? She answered any question that I asked.My surgeon was. Dr.Ataman , He did an amazing job and I’m so thrilled with the results.
I’m really pleased with all my procedures. I’ve healed nicely even though I had all the operations together in an 9 hour operation, I was ready to go back to work after a few weeks. I was in a little bit of discomfort but not in any pain. The treatment I received and the people that were involved were great, the nurses were very sympathetic and empathetic . I am a 54 year old British woman and I’m delighted to leave a review of my recent deep plane face/neck lift and upper/lower eyelid with temple lift surgery and experience with Dr Gorkem Atsal in Instanbul.
Having surgery is a big step and I did plenty of online research beforehand as there are so many options. I chose Dr Atsal because of his experience, qualifications, reviews and the hospital he was recommending. Also, after my video consultation with him, he was detailed in his explanations and recommendations and conservative in his surgical approach. Other surgeons were suggesting I had my rhinoplasty in the same surgery and were also recommending more procedures like a lip lift. Dr Aksal did NOT want to do a rhinoplasty in the same session due to the impact of the swelling from the other procedures and the extended amount of time I would be under general anaesthesia. My safety and a good surgical outcome was his top priority. He is a lovely, positive, reassuring Doctor and his English is excellent and fluent. There was no need for a translator. The pre-op assessment (blood tests, X-ray and ecg) hospital facilities and nursing care were first class and all focussed on my safety, comfort and wellbeing. There were no language issues, someone who could speak English was always around. 48 hours after surgery I was discharged from the hospital back to the beautiful G hotel to recover and I was driven to and from the Doctor’s luxury clinic for post op checks with him on days 5 and 7 before flying home to the UK. I was also given all the necessary medicine, creams and even a special LED facial massager to use at home to speed up my healing. During my time in Istanbul I could contact someone on the Dr’s team 24 hours per day and any questions I had were quickly answered. He was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest Surgeon and I felt that the price I paid was very good value for money. I would highly recommend this surgeon and as a side note, I would absolutely suggest having a friend or family member to accompany you when having surgery overseas. It’s reassuring to have company with you.

The Story behind our beautiful Connection with dr. Atsal is amazing. My mother was on her was to the Hospital by ambulance. Coincidance, the Assistant asked me about my nose. I had several surgeries behind me, my nose really looked bad. I gave up to have ever a beautiful nose again. Every doc declined me. So this assistant told me about Görkem Atsal.I have met an appointment, he gave me such a comfortable feeling and trust. I am writing this nearly 5 weeks after my surgery of a neck lift, facelift, upper and lower eye lift.
The coordinators of Dr gorkem atsal were all lovely, my assigned coordinator was Sia, who has always been helpful and professional throughout the process and still answers all my recovery questions.
Dr Atsal was very attentive and listened to what I wanted. Hospital staff were brilliant. Hotel was gorgeous.

I'm still very early in my recovery, still swollen and bruised which I know is normal so I can't give a full review until I'm fully recovered but will update when I am.

I had my initial surgery (DP FL/ NL, forehead reduction, tipplasty) with Dr Atsal in September 2024. I had spoken to 5 different surgeons before opting to go with Dr Atsal and I found both him and Sia to really stand out. They both speak English to a high standard (one surgeon I spoke to needed a translator and I didn’t feel comfortable with that).
My experience in Sept 24 left me feeling really well looked after but this review is about the small revision surgery I had in February 2025.
As I recovered from my first surgery back at home my aftercare was excellent and included support from Sia whenever I needed it and 2 further consultations with Dr Atsal before going back for a small revision.
Again I was really well looked after by Dr Atsal, Sia and the rest of the team. I had an extended consultation ahead of the revision at his clinic and surgery the following day. It’s important to note the revision was needed due to an unusual anomaly in my healing process not because of an issue with my original surgery.
Dr Atsal was really thorough and gave me an extended check up afterwards to ensure I understood how to massage my neck properly.
I highly recommend him and his team. I was already very happy with the results of my original surgery but now 4 days post revision op I felt compelled to add this review.
Communication with the team is seamless even after your operation and that was invaluable. The transport/ hotel/ hospital were all high standard but the aftercare is what should reassure anyone considering using Dr Atsal.

Amazing! Used Dr Gorkem clinic for breast implants. Right from the beginning I was contacted by Hudi who is a medical assistant, he talks you through the whole process and arranges everything. He was available seemingly all hours and nothing was too much trouble. He answered all questions I had and really helped put my mind at ease. I am still in contact with him now i am back in the UK to ask about any concerns I have, which is something that most clinics don't offer (especially in the uk)
When we arrived in Turkey we were picked up by a private transfer and as it was late and we were hungry from the flight the driver happily took us to a takeaway to order food before we arrived at the beautiful 5star hotel.
The hotel was unreal, and I was given a choice between 2 5star hotels. The only negative was that we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it was snowing.
The next morning I was picked up in a Maybach! And taken to the hospital which was the same as any standard hospital over here. I met with my translator, there was no waiting around at the hospital. Bloods were taken and I met with the surgeon very swiftly to discuss the procedure and ask any questions. I was given my own room with an ensuite at the hospital. The only waiting I had was to go down to surgery as I was the 2nd surgery (this is understandable) as I'd not eaten the translator asked the nurses to hook me up to an IV drip which made me feel a lot better.
Surgery went well and the nursing staff were amazing. I stayed for one night at the hospital and had a translator with me until 10pm who was also happy to assist me with anything else I needed.
I was discharged the next day back to the hotel again I didn't have to think about anything everything is thought about and carried out for you, you're just asked to be ready at a certain time. I went back to the hospital for a check up before my flight home and met with the surgeon again.
I am so surprised by how smoothly everything went, especially for the price I paid, the team are so polite and can not do enough for you. I would definitely recommend

Hello . I recently had a deep plane face and neck lift, lower and upper eye lift at Dr. Gorkem clinic. I’m am honestly very impressed with him and what he has achieved for me . It’s very scary and brave decision to come too . To had your face over to a surgeon. I was so nervous about the whole process.

I had made contact with a few different clinics . Never know what to do about it all . Then Dr . Gorkem fantastic assistant Yasemin made contact with me . Honestly she was just flawless. She was at hand for everything for me . Even hugs when you needed them including Dr. Gorkem he is very sweet talented and super caring . I was supposed to have a tummy tuck too a few days later - but I cancelled this procedure as I just didn’t feel up to it . Although I had paid in full for both procedures and cancelled the tummy tuck last min . They refund me . I will go back to them for my tummy tuck when I’m ready to do so . They were outstanding team . Even now that I’m back home . Yasmine will message for time to time to check in on me . As for Dr. Gorkem one word special ❤️‍🩹

The whole thing was made easy. I am really pleased with the service. All the girls are lovely. The surgeon was great and put me at ease.looked after really well.

It took me almost a year to leave my review, but I said I wanted to see the final results of my surgery. With Dr Gorkem I had a small procedure on my lips, to raise the corners. Although it wasn't exactly the technique I had intended, that is, the one that raises the lips the most, but which has a higher risk of leaving visible scars, I must say that my lips have improved quite a bit. The only small problem is that although the doctor had said that there would be no scars with this technique he used, after about 6 months from the procedure a small scar appeared in an area where there was nothing before..? But I hope to solve it now with the help of a laser since it is a bit superficial. Above all, I recommend this doctor, who in addition to being expert and professional, is a person of great empathy and extreme generosity from all points of view. I also thank his staff for always being attentive and available.
