Horrible to work for . Didn't receive last paycheck and tried getting me to pay fid my own flight home to regina from northest territories after getting sick and leaving. After 4 weeks out of 6 being there. They expect the housekeeper to be taking care of 34 men and helping out in the kitchen. I signed up for a housekeeping job not a babysitting or cook job. Overworked underpaid. Food is good that's the only good thing
It was all bad. The owner is a bully. Tried 3x to bully me into to tasks I can't do so he threatened my pay. He then tried to ILLEGALLY LAY ME off after back injury. Owner lied to WSCC,EMPLOYMENT standards and Ei but I won that. He keeps staff in camp for 3+months which is wildly illegal and lied to WSCC about it. Fired me for a back injury but claimed it was becuase I was talking to another company. Overheard phone conversation yet I was canned. Just as well. I got a way better job with an actual good company who has good management and knows how to not abuse their employees. DONT WORK HERE. IF you're white and get hired,IF, YOU will be abused,bullied,overworked, threatened...but if you're Indian you can do absolutely 0 all day and the white person,you,get to pick up their slack. Benefits are lousy,management is horrendous, staff are nefarious. It was an absolute awful experience and I might need therapy which I think could lead to a lawsuit. For my hurt feelings and such. Owners son is also super sketchy along with his dad. Management is absolutely awful. Owner is sooo cheap he won't hire a manager instead he tried to get me,hk,to do both jobs. Clean 40 full rooms a day plus manager duties,all for hk pay. This company is a joke and you would do better going anywhere else. Literally. Work at Walmart even .this place was just terrible beyond words
