Lovely sourdough variety
Wanted to try the sourdough variety and along with the discount they didn’t disappoint. Good hydration and easy to work with a nice texture and taste. Tried a 12 pack and will be back for more. Life is so much easier when cooking pizza from ready prepared pizza dough

Quite upset with the experience
Quite upset with the experience. I ordered 2 ‘essentials boxes’ which were meant to be presents for 2 different people. The photo shows the product in a GBOF box. I assumed that it would arrive in 2 boxes but unfortunately it came in one big box and all the dough in one freezer bag. I emailed explaining this asking for 2 flat boxes to be sent out so I could still deliver them as presents but the response I got from Aimee wasn’t quite what I expected (as below)

I completely understand your preference to have the two GBOF Pizza Essentials Boxes packed separately for gifting. Your order was shipped together in one package, as shown in the shipment details. Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped as a single package, we're unable to split it into separate shipments afterwards, even if flat packing would work. I’m sorry for any hassle this has caused – I realise it’s a bit more wrapping for you!
She really missed the point suggesting it was more wrapping for me to do really did not help. Steph did step in to take over apologising for those comments. I ended up spending another £20 to make them look like a present and they offered me £5 to go towards it.
Totally un-impressed with the whole experience.

Great product - let down by promo emails
Great product, but the bombardment of promotional emails after ordering was annoying, especially given that th unsubscribe option seemed not to work.

Gluten free
In the excitement of reading Gluten Free dough to treat my celiac wife and kids, I eagerly purchased a bunch of pizza doughs for a pizza night.
In disbelief of how amazing the dough felt and smelt, I read the pack and thankfully saw ‘WHEAT’, just in time as to not poison the family!!
I hasten to add on two points, I ate some of the pizzas and they were lovely. The second point is, if you suffer with celiac disease unless something is explicitly clear, it’s a human trait to read what you’re hoping to read.
No bad feeling towards the company, more speed and less haste on my part.

Brought a pizza oven didnt know what we were doing so rang great balls of flour who advised us on the best dough to buy to start us off. They were so helpful we ordered a lot more. They came on time and very well packaged. The products are just the best ever. We will be ordering again very soon

It's when things go wrong that you get to see how good your supplier is...
My shipment of dough got held up by the courier company. For three days. It sat in a van and was ruined when it arrived. I'd ordered it to arrive in time for my son's 18th birthday. He'd chosen a pizza party in the garden for his group of friends.
I'd contacted GBOF as soon as I became aware of the delay. I was contacted by Steph, who was incredibly helpful in resolving the situation. Once we were certain the dough was not going to arrive on time or in good order, Steph put another shipment on an overnight delivery to ensure the day was saved. And she also followed up to make sure everything went to plan.
Such amazing customer service is hard to find!

That could've been a major doughsaster and what an absolute rollercoaster! There is nothing more frustrating than watching a courier tracking link stall - especially when an 18th birthday party is on the line.

Ordered gluten free doughballs for…
Ordered gluten free doughballs for pizza. These came with no instructions and I had to google what to do with them. Instructions were very vague. They turned out horribly. Very dry dough. Did not rise at all. Stodgy and unpleasant. I’m sure instructions would have helped as gluten free dough is very temperamental.
