Totally rude

I went to the shaler store I went online to save my spot it was for my grandson who is 10 years old when I arrived I told them I was there and their was a person on the screen above us so they said they were gonna wait and see if he showed up and then a man walked in the door and I want to say the name was Tommy c so I asked the guy if he was Tommy c he said no so I went out to my car to get my grandson he was eating burger king because it was right after school so I said ok that's fine but I'm gonna go get him out of the car so I did we came right back in and they knew Austin was there I checked him in so we came right back in and I told him he had to wash his hands thinking we have a minute since they told me they were gonna wait to see if the next guy on the list showed up we were in the bathroom for maybe a half a minute and them knowing he was there we came out and the guy who just walked in no online spot was getting his haircut and when I said something the woman cutting his hair got really rude and said we didn't know what you were doing in there like what do u think we were doing in there plus I checked in and they told me they were gonna give the guy online ahead of us a few more minutes and it was probably 2 minutes to get him from the car and to wash his hands and when I said something they all started yelling at me but they did take my grandson for his haircut but told me to leave and they would take care of him which they said multiple times but ofcourse I said I said I was not leaving I ended up apologizing to them which was hard but I doubt you will do anything it's sad I'll never go back there again they were wrong and telling me to leave and they'll take care of my grandson

I’ve been coming to this place for three years, but I’ve finally reached my breaking point. It used to be a reliable spot, but lately, it’s been "miss after miss after miss." The level of unprofessionalism is actually staggering.

When I walked in a couple of days ago, did I get a greeting? No. Every single stylist was glued to their phone, completely ignoring the front door. There is zero welcoming environment anymore; you’re basically an interruption to their scrolling.

The worst part? The total lack of care. I tried to show a reference photo of the cut I wanted, and the stylist didn't even want to look at it. She acted like looking at a picture for five seconds was too much work.

Then came the "speed run" haircut:

Standard cut time: 10–15 minutes

My cut: 5 minutes flat.

I’m not kidding. She rushed through it so fast I didn't even have time to react. It’s a total "in and out" assembly line vibe now with zero interest in what the customer actually wants. Honestly, after these last few visits, I feel like they personally don't want me there.

It is not a value for money experience. You’re paying full price for a 5-minute rush job and a side of attitude. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually want to do their job. I won't be back.

I asked for a trim and they cut almost 3in when I asked for 1 and it was uneven and I also asked to get a little trim on my bangs but they just left my bangs as is ALSO when I they were trimming my hair they started using a razor …… my 2 year old nieces would have done better than this

A-Team at Har-Ber!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at the Har-Ber Meadows location. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. You can tell they take pride in their work and care about their clients.

A special shoutout to Kristy for my recent haircut—she absolutely nailed it. She listened to exactly what I wanted, added her own expertise, and the result was one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. Honestly, it felt like a $1,000 haircut with that level of care and attention to detail.

Highly recommend this team to anyone looking for top-notch service and results!

No matter what hair cut I ask for, they just give me whatever hair cut they want. I even asked for another hair cut, directly after... they laughed at me. I guess they thought i was kidding.

Haircut on a five year old

I took my five-year-old son in today to get a fade-up haircut. I asked them to take no more than a half-inch off the top of his head. Yes, I understand he's five and that he may wiggle around a little bit, but the lady who helped me was so rude. She was griping and complaining the whole time, having pretty much shaved all of his hair off. She proceeded to say that I had given her a too hard a haircut. It was literally a fade-up of a simple boy's haircut. Then, she finally said, " Okay, I am done, that's it. I can't do any more. I did my best. My son has gotten his haircut at Great Clips Three other times and I've never had any problems with the haircut. I don't know if she was new, but she was older and she just seemed very stuck up in irritated.

Went for the first time yesterday as needed a quick cut before an unexpected trip and impressed with how quickly I was helped just walking in and the haircut was good for what I needed. Definitely recommend if you need something last minute

Horrible place lady messed up my haircut and just horrible and I’ve been crying all day.
I am never going to the great clips in palm Harbor Florida by Publix I hate great clips because I’ve been whereby hoodie the past two days

No matter how simple the ask, if you care about your hair at all you shouldn't risk it

I thought a trim and face framing was simple enough that Great Clips would be ok and I was dead wrong. Never been so upset over a haircut before, it looks so much worse closer up. The initial face framing cut was just a blunt diagonal line without feathering. I asked for it to be blended more and they didn't really. I just had to leave before more damage was done or I started crying in the chair. Idk if this will be fixable. They cut so much off doing this awful blunt face framing. They claimed my hair isnt suited face framing and that's why it looks bad- face framing, a style which I've had successfully for years.

She said pixie cuts are usually worn by older people and suggested my hair had too much volume and weight for that style. I felt pressured to change the haircut I had asked for.

Unfortunately, the final result was not what I requested and it turned out very poorly. I actually had to go to a barbershop afterward to have my hair fixed.

I understand that stylists may give professional advice, but it should ultimately be the client’s decision. I came in with a clear request and left with something completely different, which was frustrating and disappointing.
