Sales was good but delivery was poor. They said they made 2 attempts to deliver and no one home but we stayed home waiting for delivery. Checked our cameras and no one called until I contacted them.

Laptop was missing essential drivers
I ordered the laptop on a Wednesday and didn’t receive it until the following Tuesday even though I live less than 10kms away from their premises. While the laptop itself was in excellent condition, the wifi connection wasn’t working. I phoned their help desk and I was told to download drivers to get the wifi working. Luckily I had an Ethernet cable to physically connect the laptop to my router and download the drivers necessary. I eventually got the laptop working over wifi but this should have been sorted prior to the laptop being shipped to me. Once again, the hardware was in as new condition but the software for the wifi was missing. GreenIT should test this prior to shipping products.

Hi David, We are so sorry you had this experience. This is not typical of us. Usually our devices are tested twice, once on arrival and once when they are bought before shipping. Sometimes things can still slip through the cracks as in your case.

As I knew absolutely nothing about this company I was very wary. However everything turned out very well. Prompt delivery and iPad seems as new but still not tested. I would highly recommend recommend this company.

I Was in the process of purchasing a refurbed laptop for 300n euro from this site when my bank told me to cancel the transaction as greenit are not a trusted company and they did not do the 3ds check which is the law
Not sure what is going on with these but it is dodgy dont think i would of ever recieved a laptop from them

Following our initial response, we’ve now completed a full investigation with Shopify Payments.
The checkout record confirms that GreenIT correctly triggered the required 3D Secure authentication. The payment failed because the authentication wasn’t completed successfully. No order was placed and no payment was taken.
This means the claim that GreenIT failed to carry out a 3D Secure check is incorrect. Shopify has also confirmed that our payment setup is fully active, correctly configured and operating as required.
We appreciate that a declined payment can be frustrating. However, describing GreenIT as “dodgy” and “cowboys”, and suggesting that we aren’t a trusted retailer, is unfair and doesn’t reflect what actually happened.
We’ll be reporting the review to Trustpilot for its own assessment and requesting removal if it agrees that the review misrepresents the transaction.
