BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! This company is a fraud. We had our items picked from Fort Worth, Texas on September 29, 2023, and they were supposed to be delivered to us in Michigan on October 14th, 2023. This never happened. The company ignores communication and has refused to tell us when we will get our belongings. It has been over a month and we still have to sleep on a mattress on the floor and live out of suitcases because they haven't delivered our stuff as paid for, and promised. I received ONE call back, after dozens of messages, and it was October 17th and Beau Talley stated it would only be 5-7 more days until delivery. Well, that came and went, and we still have nothing. BEWARE!! Do NOT use this company. They have also had their BBB verification revoked due to poor business management.

Awful horrible company

I did not want to do this but they left me no other choice. We hired green vanlines of Dallas in March to move a 1 bedroom apt to storage. The first part wasn’t to bad besides them dumping plants out on the porch, smelling of marijuana, and getting a call the next day from the apt complex saying come clean up the mess from the dumped plants or you will get a fine. When it all started was once they have your stuff. They give you the run around on when they will deliver your stuff to the new location. You cant pen them down on a date. They are just looking for any truck to throw it on and don’t know when that will be. When you think you do have a date it keeps changing. They called me at 10 o’clock at night on the night the truck was supposed to be leaving to tell me everything wouldn’t fit. Said only half would fit. Then the driver didn’t even leave till the next day. The worst part came when the driver showed up and asked for payment before even opening the truck. I Zelled the money and they started unloading. We started to see broken items and crushed boxes. When I took the blanket off my leather couch it had four tears. My credenza was ruined. Scratched and broken doors. I called Diane, the lady we had been dealing with and sent pics and instead of calling me she called the driver. I never did hear from the owner Beau or Diane, to apologize, make it right, or even care that this happened. They have ignored repeated phone calls and emails. It’s been 5 more days and they will not give me a day that they will bring the other half of my items. They keep giving me excuses and that’s it. With this company you feel like you are working for them. The hours I have worked on this I should be paid! I hope that other potential customers will do better research than I did. They have had their acct suspended by the better business bureau and these ratings on here are padded to bury the bad ones. They also own green vanlines of Florida. Stay away from beau Talley and his companies. Can’t wait to see how the 2nd half of my order goes UPDATE: 2nd load still hasn’t arrived! Been told two different times it would be here on a certain date. Hasn’t happens. It’s really sad that this company is allowed to continue to be in business UPDATE: last load came last night around 8. So many items missing. If you happen to see this and had them deliver around the same time and you are missing a ladder(the driver kept that), a kids bike(he gave it away to a guy on the street he hired for $50 and brought into my home to help unload because he had no dolly or another helper), and your 4 lawn chairs( he wouldn’t take them and left them at my house) told me he was tired and didn’t know what to do with them. Second shipment was 8/17. To say this company shouldn’t be in business is a understatement.

Stole my items and laughed at the matter! Wish I could have given this company…

Wish I could have given this company ZERO stars! The workers kept giving me compliments on so many of my items during the move just for them to end up STEALING very expensive and sentimental items from myself and my family! I worked with one of the guys from Texas named Melvin that seemed to be trustworthy when he was packing my items up but the very items he kept complimenting on were stolen. He assured me that my belongings were insured with insurance and my items were safe. Once my items got to Florida the company had me working with a guy named Eli which for sure was on drugs as I witnessed it with my own eyes walking into his office to pay the final balance on the account to retrieve the remainder of my items that weren’t stolen. For 3 months Diana at GreenVanline promised to find my items, however, my items were never located and I was instructed to call their customer support line so they could pay out “ .60 cent” per the items weight that were stolen which was truly a joke! I would never recommend a soul to use this fraudulent company! You’re better off renting a truck and hauling your belongings yourself! The company is full of nasty disgusting liars and thieves! I’m literally in the process of suing the company over my belongings! In all my years of living I’ve never bothered writing a review rather good nor bad yet today I had to make sure no one else is mishandled and disregarded like this company did my family!

Please DON't chose that company

Please DON't chose that company, you will have to pay more than the quote even if it's not necessary.
The Boss is a rude guy talking with arrogance and trying to make more money for over time!!
I'm really disappointed I have a quote of 476 for 3 hours move in and 1 hours driving, moving from miami to miami 15 miles. But around the 3 hours the workers was telling me to pay a 200 dollars over time just in case they make an over time, and if they don't make the over time they will give it back to me !I didn't want to pay the over time that they didn't make already.
I was surprised because they was trying to take there time and make me pay the over time and the worse. They do that when I had my stuff still in there truck at the drop off location.
At the end the workers left my stuff in the hallway some stuff inside the elevator. They left after 2 hours and half working and 30 min driving !! and [have payed in full for 4 hours!!
They didn't reassembled my bed, my table and they even left all there packing supplies with the tapes.
My boyfriend and I have to finish to take all the boxes, bed, table from the entry to our new apartment and reassembled everything ourselves.
Really bad experience!!

This company has scammed me!!

This company has scammed me!!! they honestly dont give a damn about the customer after the payment is made. I paid the full amount of $5,136 plus provided a tip of $400 to the movers. I purchased valuation insurance upfront as well.
1. The sales rep- Kevin told me initially that he would be the only person I would need to speak to. After I had booked my move, he only texted back, and always asked me to contact Diana at helpdesk for anything after that.

I had confirmed with Kevin on text whether they could include the Tip amount in the invoice, to which he replied -"Yes". I have proof on messages.(Attached below)

Finally, they did not send me the invoice with tip included. Diana tells me that Kevin is not in finance, so he can't commit to anything in accounting.

2. Diana cannot be reached. I have sent numerous emails, left numerous voice mails, but she does not return calls. (Attached emails)

3. Our stuff was picked up on Oct21st from Dallas and reached San Jose on the 10th of Nov. (14business days, the last day as mentioned in the document)

4. The LED TV is damaged, The legs to the platform bed are lost and the dining table top is scratched. I have been calling and emailing so I could file a claim (Note: I have prepaid for $21,000 of insurance), but they won't respond nor give me a claims number. It is now 2 weeks since our stuff arrived and we cannot even reach them.

5. Diana at helpdesk asks me to submit an inventory document, I have all the paperwork given to me at pickup and delivery and a signed inventory list is not there. Why don't they have the document??

6. Diana told me she needs to wait for the driver to submit the paperwork, to even give me the claims number. I texted the driver and he said he had turned in paperwork a long time ago. It's now 2 weeks since our stuff was delivered. (Attached message screenshot from Driver)

I have paid $5136 plus a $400 tip. Also bought valuation insurance. Now this company is not reachable through phone or email since two weeks

Please Avoid this company if you want to save yourself and your family from harassment!!!!!!!

I wish I could give less then one star

I wish I could give less then one star. I have never been treated so poorly. I moved from Texas to Florida. The pick up was great but it took several emails and 21 days to get my items. When my things arrived they were held hostage until I paid an additional $950 because the semi could not get down my street. However I confirmed with the city it could and later learned the driver paid $500 for the shuttle so he made a quick $450. When my things arrived I had to pay in full before I could even look at my items in the truck to verify it was my things. I am a single female and the driver thought it appropriate to yell at me in the driverway so loud my neighbors looked out to check on me. Then when unloading I got to deal with the creepy feeling of being hit on by one of the movers. There was never an inventory checked but I was required to sign it. If that was not bad enough my boxes arrived with gapping wholes in them, my trim in my new house got damaged, my stairs were damaged. My standing mirror jewerly box was broken along with a bookcase but the kicker.....they lost my 10X12 oriental rug, ladder, and a box with over 1000 CDs. And the best part this all happened over a week ago and to date no one has been in touch with me about filing a claim even though I have reached out to them numerous times. I am still in Shock. Whatever you do, avoid this nightmare.

They did not disappoint

Their pricing is simple and straightforward, they were prompt and polite in their communication. Professional, polite, and on time. No delays. I will definitely hire them again!

We made a cross country move

We made a cross country move. Things went well when they packed us in TX. However when the driver arrived in CO he hired some men that were not known to the company but just working for cash. They had no moving experience. The day was chaotic and when we unpacked we found that 3 boxes did not make it into our house. We believe they must have been stolen as there is nowhere else they can be. We paid a lot of money for a professional moving company but they did not give us professional movers.

We apologize for the inconvenience. As it was a direct delivery, the boxes were never removed from the truck until they reached their destination. The workers we hire at the destination are under guiadance from our foreman who was the lead mover for this job. He checks each worker before they leave the job site and claims that it was not possible for them to have taken three boxes of your clothing. We do have a full-service claims department at Green Van Lines that can help you resolve these issues which I believe you have been in contact with already. Waiting on delivery …

Green Van Lines picked up my household goods on May 27 from Texas with the expected delivery date of June 26 to Florida. It is August now, and I am STILL waiting for delivery. Other than my repeated calls, I have had zero contact from them about an expected delivery date. Avoid this company at all costs!

Moving from Dallas TX to Atlanta, GA

The guys arrived on time to pick up our large pieces and packed them very carefully. They were polite and went out of their way to fulfill any requests. Our furniture didn't arrive right away but their customer service kept us updated.
Great service with nothing broken.

I used Green Van Lines in Pompano Beach, FL on June 2 for a local move. I highly recommend using Green Van Lines. Eli came to my condo to give me an estimate for my move. He was spot on. Very good price compared to several other movers I got estimates from. 3 men came to move my furniture to a new house. The driver, Vincent, was so nice and very professional. I was moving out of a 3 story condo so they had their work cut out for them. They took one look at the steep stairs and said, “WOW”, but never complained once about them. They went above and beyond to protect my furniture even though most of it was “early attic”. When they moved the furniture into my new house they put everything together again and made sure it was placed exactly where I wanted it. I will always choose them for any of my moving needs. I have a stair climber exercise machine that I am planning to move from NC to FL. I am sure I can hire them to move it out of U-haul trailer to upstairs in my new house. They are nice folks.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Clear from the beginning the only priority of this company was making as much money as possible.
Over-charged me. When I contacted customer service they lied and delayed until I threatened them with reporting to their governing board.
I had some delays arriving to the destination. When I got there the moving crew was surly and only wanted to drop things in my garage, even though they were being paid by me for their time.
Several major pieces of furniture quite damaged.
Nothing went well. Avoid this company.

Kudos to them!

They moved very swiftly and professionally while wrapping everything carefully and not scratching anything. They even arrived early! I'd use them again if we move again!!

Awesome movers!

Arrived early, professional and very diligent! They were pretty swift with the move. Nothing was broken or scratched. They helped disassemble and reassemble all furniture in the new place.

Misleading

Misleading. Never given notice before the arrival of our belongings though it was promised. Crew was too few in number to move a dresser and didn’t have basic tools. Payment plan was never fully explained to us. Owner called nonstop demanding money while we were at the hospital though the situation was fully explained to him. Owner refused to pay for a hotel for his own crew. Tried to demand a signature on a document absolving the company of culpability for broken items - and several were broken

Awful communication and customer service

Truly terrible communication every step of the way. I was told I had a "2 week delivery guarantee". After 2 weeks of radio silence, I called dispatch and was told my stuff had not yet left my departing city. That was just the beginning of the breakdown. Once my stuff was handed over to the subcontractor out of New York City, the Green Van Lines team suddenly dropped me. They changed my delivery date several times, calling me late at night to tell me that the truck had broken down (though they were calling from the road, so that seems unlikely). When they finally arrived, they said they would only accept a money order or cash, even though my contract with GVL clearly stated that Zelle was the preferred method of payment. Then they refused to unload until management gave them the go-ahead. I had seen this particular snafu coming and tried for several days to contact Guy at Green Van Lines- to the tune of 6 unanswered voicemails and 2 emails. At one point, I re-dialed the number that had called me to say my delivery was canceled again, and the man said he didn't know who I was, even though HE had called ME. Absolutely massive mess, and a completely unprofessional lack of communication in every area. To top it all off, they broke my TV (which they had packed themselves). If you're thinking a professional mover will make your life easier- this one will not.
