A scam. I've been waiting for my kit for a year after several emails saying that my package was in production, but they no longer respond to me. I think I'll file a complaint.

Al vanaf oktober vorig jaar aan het wachten op mijn bodykit. Zodra ze het geld binnen hebben, reageren ze nergens meer op. Ook de telefoon nemen ze niet op. Bestel hier NIET!!

Corresponded with Robert who stopped responding regarding my order. For evidence that my review is real, I’ve included all the details below and can post my full correspondence with Robert.

Price- USD 2365, paid in Oct’24 itself, acknowledgement of payment received.

I ordered a body kit for my ford probe gt 1996 for €1380 (€1200 +€180 shipping costs) . Before ordering I wanted to confirm that it was possible to get that body kit for the price and they confirmed that it indeed was possible. About 2 weeks after placing my order and having paid already I get an email about that they don’t have the moulds for the body kit anymore and that it will be hard to produce the kit in good quality. As a plan B they asked me if I wanted another kit instead of the one I initially ordered. I replied by telling them that I only wanted the body kit that I ordered or that I would like to get my money back. They responded that they forwarded the information to the production. From there on I never heard from them again. I have tried emailing and calling but I don’t get any response from them. I am really disappointed that I will not receive the body kit I ordered and I will probably not get my money back either. So yeah, I don’t recommend ordering since they will basically just steal ur money.

In June this year I ordered an AMG body kit for my 1995 e class coupe. The rear bumper had been damaged after someone reversed it into a wall and it is no longer road worthy. The cost came to €1,539 including front and rear bumpers, side skirts and fog lights.
The price was high but the kit looked like it should be good quality and though I was initially hesitant as the website is a bit sketchy looking, I took the chance and ordered the kit after discussing with Robert via email. He was prompt to respond and seemed professional enough.

I can see now I was mistaken. The body kit never arrived and Robert confirmed via email that there was a problem and it was being sent back to Norway. I confirmed with my local postal service AnPost that he did not submit the correct import details and the package was never allowed entry into the country.

Despite providing evidence of this, Robert and Grubier have refused to accept my the parts are lost or to issue me a refund even going so far as to claim I am trying to scam them. If they would only work with me to resolve the issue instead of against this review would be very different.

I am extremely disappointed with Grubier and Robert and if you were considering purchasing from them I would recommend looking at one of their competitors. It is clear they only care about their own money and not their customers.

To be clear, my passion is buying and restoring classic vehicles, particularly Mercedes. To see a company not supporting like minded enthusiasts is saddening and Robert and Grubier leave me no choice but to pursue legal action.

Kjøpte et fullt bodykit til min Mercedes A45 AMG. Kitet ble levert som forespeilet (ca 2 måneder etter bestilling). Kvaliteten på bodykitet var meget bra og passet perfekt på bilen. Jeg hadde bestilt feil front leppe (min feil), men da fikk jeg god service og fikk sendt noen nye deler som gjør at leppen passer likevel.

Total scam, ordered front and rear bumpers for my Mercedes over 6 months ago. Bumpers were never received and Grubier denies they were lost in post. Refuses to send refund or replacement. Absolute joke. basically just stole my money - over 1500 euro

Veldig rask levering til tross for at jeg holder til i Nord-Norge ! Manglet noen deler men ble sendt samme dag som jeg sa ifra. Meget fornøyd, svarer raskt og er veldig enkel og ryddig å ha med dem og gjøre :-)

Selling maxton design parts for overprice

I ordered a rear spoiler for my car. For payment, they said I had to wire them the money ($600), which I did and then they "ghosted" me. I emailed them many times over the following months and NEVER got a reply of any sort. And, never got the part!!!

As you see from their reply below, they are full of crap. They say they can not find my order but all they have to go on is my first name and a approximate dollar amount. Of course, they can't find it with that little information. I emailed them as recently as a week ago and still NO RESPONSE. DON'T TRUST THEM!

Was supposed to be done several months ago. 6 months since kit was ordered. Nobody's answering emails, nobody's picking up the phone. Total disappointment

Ventet i over 6mnd på å få en framfanger, den kom til slutt, men føler ikke det skal være sånn at du må vente så lenge. Dem bruke unnskyldninger, som f.eks at dem hadde mye å gjøre..

Great site with many top notch kits that i never seen before. Got my 4th kit on the way now.

I purchased a complete body kit in July 2022. Received part of the order (front bumper and side skirts, but rear bumper was missing) in December 2021. Shipping was slow, but I attributed to COVID so wasn't overly concerned with the delay; however I thought it could be faster. During the wait I emailed many times for status updates, but rarely heard back. When the parts arrived I promptly notified them I was missing the rear bumper, and this time they replied in 1 day that they would look into it and get back to me. That was the last email I received from them. I have since emailed several times using their website and other means without any replies. It has now been over a year and I still haven't received the rear bumper i purchased. This is not an honest company. Please do not do business with these crooks.

Reading the company response requires a review update. Yes I received two packages. I informed you that both packages included their shipping weight, which indicated both shipments were about the same weight. It is impossible for one package of two side skirts listed as weighing slightly more than the other package; the Front bumper, which if it included the rear bumper would be much heavier. There is no way you EVER shipped the rear bumper, because the original shipping weight shows it was missing. In your reply you are trying to pass responsibility to your customer (the victim) for your failure to ship the rear bumper. It was never lost so there was no way to obtain any insurance claim. If you were a real company you would have caught your error and made it right, but you continue avoid emails and point blame to others. If you cared about customers you would have fulfilled your obligation and made it right.

Er litt usikker på om jeg skal bestille deler til min Passat B8 pga noe som står her under. Har konfrontert Grubier med dette. De sier at (siterer):

Det er ikke noe galt med design. Alt leveres som avtalt og blir 100% som på bildene av bilen som demonstreres (det er ekte bilder av bilen som vises). Arnt Sigve Klungland har bestillt hel sett og det er kun 1 del som var problemet (bakleppen, ikke hele settet), resten av settet var ok. Settet var bestillt til standard Passat (uten R-Line pakke, uten hengerfeste og lignende). Arnt mener i ettertid at bilen på bildene våre har hengerfeste og utløp til hengerfeste (bilen på bildene våre har ikke hengerfeste, bakleppen har ikke noe hull til hengerfeste og bakleppen i settet var ikke bestillt for en bil med hengerfeste). Det er ikke noe galt med design (som er patentert), uten dette dreier seg kun om feilbestilling. Vi kan ikke ta bakleppen i retur pga design, da det er ikke noe galt med design.
Vi kommer alltid til å forsvare våre designere og fabrikker så lenge alt går riktig til (det gjør det her). Dette her var rett og slett feilbestilling fra kundens side. Vi kan ikke ta noe i retur pga designfeil om det er ikke designfeil når vi lever av design. Det er kjempeviktig for oss å stå på. Folk må alltid få det de bestiller. Vi kan ta noe i retur om det er vanlig retur. Alt er alltid levert som avtalt. Vedkommende sprer altså løgn om patentert design som vi selger (dette dreier seg om titalls av div. innlegg rundt om på nettet av kun 1 person).
