SEO bait website with a vibecoded program

"This tool is not related to the older guiformat application - it is a modern, independently developed GUI formatter built for today’s safer, more secure, and reliable FAT32 formatting." and the whole program looks like it's built with Electron, This whole program is literally just a scam, The FAQ is even worse

The program puts a paywall on the feature that literally exists on almost every partition program, even inbuilt one "Quick Formatting"

#1q: "Does formatting with GUIFormat erase data?!!?"
#1a: OBVIOUSLY Also If this program can convert it, it wouldn't have enough lines of codes from AI to convert it like better alternatives"

#2q: "Does GUIformat supports custom cluster sizes?" "Fine‑tune cluster sizes to balance performance and storage efficiency for your use case."

#2a: Well most program has it even Windows inbuilt and also you CANNOT FINE TUNE the cluster size the way you want, The number needs to be the power of 2 so it's misleading

#3q: GUIFormat can scan the drive for errors before formatting so you don’t wipe a failing disk blindly. Peace of mind before erasing.

#3a: This is completely useless because erasing a drive also cleans the drive so there's no point doing a error check. Drive failures should've little clues that it's failing. The website also don't even mention S.M.A.R.T data which is vErY weird for a vibecoded program.

#4q&a: Website also mentions formatting 2tb with FAT32 and this is very hard to answer, It's device based but im going to say this, You only need 32 GB SD Card for most cases, If you want the camera to recognize a 2TB Card, you need to format via the device itself and some devices has problems reading storage more than specfic sizes. For consoles? 32GB is enough and requires you to use USB External media anyways.

#5q: "Can GUIFormat help create a bootable usb drive?"

#5a: Why? Rufus exists, Console doesn't need a bootable media, most community driven stuff are smart enough to just read the drive without it being bootable, BIOS doesn't need it too, Manufacturers are smart enough to put a inbuilt browser for flashing and stuff.

#6q: "Optimized for SD Cards, USBs, SSDs, flash drives & HDD"

#6a: How would you optimize those things? Physical Header is the one that do the job. Physical header are READ-ONLY so 100% sure this program cannot optimize the Physical Header and if it can, it can result in bricking the chip if they protected the chip in some way and Windows can't really access the chip because windows and other OS talks to USB. It can only access standard tools and trying to rewrite a chip requires a special programmer so USB can't do anything. Software optimization exists but not really powerful

Windows 11 also supports 2TB Fat32 format now so this is even more useless and proves this is just a vibecoded slop (proof in the page source code) SEO bait

SAAR DO NOT REDEEM

Contact: India.
lol. lmao. Some street shitting jeet figures out that there is a free utility recommended by everyone, steals the name, grabs a cheap domain, some SEO bullshit to steal the top search result, then charges for it? And wants $20?

GUIFormat by Ridgecrop, the second result, is the one people are looking for. An actual free utility for formatting >32GB cards.

It’s a scam.

Subscription required for devices over 32gb. Hilarious. What a joke of an application. Just use RMPrep to format devices to Fat32 using the guide from stoneagegamer - don’t give these clowns a dime. Trying to profit off an app that takes less than 10 minutes to code.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Formated my USB 256Go as FAT32

I got problems to use my USB 256Go with Fire TV because windows did not not want to format my Key with FAT32 system needed.

After get the premium plan and contact the support, they were able to guide me step by step to resolve my problem. That was a 20$ well invested!

Every source says its free yet its not…

Every source says its free yet it says I need to buy a license in order to format my usb to fat32. Ya'll are nuts for trying to say this shit is free but yet I have to pay to use the one feature everyone recommends and says is free. Total lies. False marketing

Degenerate Scamming Rats

"Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. Free version is available only to preview the UI and the app features. In order to use the app, you need to purchase a license key and activate the app."

"We CLEARLY state on our website that this program is useless unless you pay us (degenerate hogs) to use it."

I am glad that a majority of people that download this see that you don't understand what the term 'clearly' means, and that you are degenerate, greedy little scamming rats.

Somewhat misleading marketing

Somewhat misleading marketing on the website, While there are ticks next to all those features, they are unable to actually be used, so the ticks are lies as the programme will not preform those tasks as advertised.

We clearly stated on our website that this is a preview version. GUIFormat is our own formatter app, and our developer team is working hard to make it better, so we can’t offer it for free. We hope you understand. Thank you.
