Overall, this is a good lawyer, or a good team because they respond quickly to questions etc. There is quality and responsibility. However in my specific case which was a mandamus lawsuit against the government because I am stuck in adm. processing since Feb 2023. I would have been better served if they had told me that the government can issue a motion to dismiss and once this is done if you decide to fight it, it may take up to 7 months with no warranty your case will be taken out of 221g.
It is expensive and after the case was lost, they refused to give me a waive for the last payment of $550 as per my request. It is ultimately their right to do that but my feeling is that.
First, the lawsuit had the objective to force the government to adjucate (make a decision) on my case, it did not happen. Second, the government had strong arguments that unreasonable delay for them is anything over 5 years and nor 11 months like mine.
My conclusion: Be aware of lawyers taking your case, they don't care much that you may loose your money you worked hard for and there is no sympathy.

So, I waited over 2 years before my wife to come.
These lawyers didn't do anything and didn't receive any communication on my behalf.
They "sued" the government and lost in court and then when complained that they should have been more prepared because they lost, they refused to do business with me after taking thousands of dollars from me. It is also to be noted that if you ask to speak to your own attorney, you will only be able to speak to the paralegal.
I ended up doing everything myself and these lawyers didn't do anything on my behalf at all but take thousands of dollars.
Of the $9500 I paid, when they refused to be my attorneys, they returned $4000 having done nothing.
BEWARE OF THEM because they will do nothing and you receive the same time frame as if you did it yourself which you might have to do as I did.
