Unprofessional & Inept

This company and their "best surgeons" do not deserve even 1 star.

These people will offer you a wonderful experience from start to finish but let me tell you, in the very likely event you have a sub par outcome, you will be treated disgracefully.

As someon else already stated, avoid this company and Ifran Khan. They are unprofessional and inept when it comes to treating patients and will leave you even more distraught when you try to resolve a very real life altering botched job that will leave you not only physically damaged but also mentally damaged for life by the after 'care'.

GO ELSEWHERE

I thought I was going to the best clinic when I chose The Harley Medical Group. How wrong I was- Don't let their prestigious name fool you. They are all over you as a new client, but as soon as there is a problem they are terrible. Email replies take days, you have to chase, and even then they don't seem to care. I have 2 ruptured implants and am in pain and can't even get them to call me back. Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

Unorganised, unresponsive and unprofessional

I had a breast augmentation with Harley Medical and Dr George Samouris on 7th May 2025, and regret my choice in the clinic.

I had my initial consultations with the Patient Coordinator (PC) in March 2025 after having consultations elsewhere and feeling unnerved. My concerns were answered and I felt confident in Harley Medical and the level of service they spoke of. I asked about the company liquidation and she explained that they had been bought out with funding going into a new hospital (whether any of it is actually true??). I was under the impression that they had been up and running for a while, so I paid £250 to have a surgeon consult. Payment was taken by a bank transfer which felt slightly off but tried to trust the process.

2nd consult happened and Dr George was really insightful and I decided to book in and pay an additional £525 deposit. My surgery date was booked in for 07/05.

All of a week later I had calls from Harley medical asking me to confirm the date I had booked in - a little unnerving as you think that the practice you've paid just short of 1k would know the date. I received no confirmation for the payments or the date.

From this point onwards it was almost always a different person contacting me and impossible to get hold of the same person twice. In my initial consultation I was offered a 12 month 0% interest payment plan. Someone called me after my deposit and said my 10 month agreement was ready to be signed? There was no consistency, horrendously unorganised, and impossible to contact. The PC stopped responding to emails, I was not given any other contact) and the phone numbers go to a call centre in Scotland which is dealing with Skin Clinic and they can't contact the London practice.

I got emails changing my pre op on the day, whilst travelling up, all while still being ignored on my other emails about the finance and dates. The appointment went well with Andrea who turned out to be my godsend the entire process. She went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough - without her it would be have been unbearable.

I had to chase from 09/04/25 multiple times a week to 23/04/2025 when I finally got a response. I called Harley Medical numerous times, eventually got told that I was getting answers sent, and then had to chase when they were not. I was told I was getting sent pre-op info - again still chasing until 02/05 (5 DAYS before my surgery) when I finally received key information. The PC was off sick at some point during this time, however they had no alternative communication routes or anyone who knew what was going on which was very unprofessional. If I was not that deep into the process, I would have not continued.

6th May, 1 day before my surgery. Pre-op phone call due 24-48 hours before your surgery. 2:45pm, still no call. Had to email AGAIN and contact Andrea as she was the only consistent contact, who sorted it.

7th May 2025 - surgery day. Slight delay but nothing unexpected. The staff at the hospital were lovely and so helpful. HOWEVER, I get told I am Harley Medical's first surgery back?? Hours before my surgery?? This is the first time I was told this and it made me incredibly nervous.

Surgery went well, Dr George was lovely I can't fault him, we confirmed my choices and felt okay after. Discharged after a couple of hours, late at night. Harley Medical told me that I would be given an out of hours number to contact post-op if anything was wrong. I was not given this and had to send my partner back at 11pm to ask the hospital staff whilst I am in the car immobile. Staff did not have it, so again tried to contact Harley Medical, impossible, so we had to accept it and head home knowing I only had 999 to contact if I needed.

2 days post op I get an email saying that I need to pay the entire balance of my surgery when I have a finance agreement in place.? Shock, no one answers the phone so I am panicking whilst trying to recover and have to contact Andrea to chase to get an answer. Eventually gets sorted but still, you expect premium service, pay for it and get that?

In terms of the rest of the post op care, after a week you’re essentially on your own. After my nurse appointment they could not confirm the date of my surgeon post op and said they would contact me. I had to chase them for a good couple weeks to get it booked, which they then cancelled and rearranged as a zoom call. Final post op was a 30 second call to say ‘all good’ that they were 25 mins late for and that was it. Luckily I am happy with my results and have no problems (so far!)

Harley Medical was disorganised, uncommunicative, and completely unprofessional throughout my journey, causing unnecessary stress before and after surgery. If you value your money and want a reliable clinic who answers the phone or an email - I recommend you look elsewhere. Thank you again to Andrea for being an angel.

My rhinoplasty in 2017

My rhinoplasty in 2017, at Highgate Hospital, London, did not reflect the outcome I had requested. Additionally, during the follow-up appointment, I expressed concern that the intended goal of achieving nasal symmetry had not been met. In response, the surgeon remarked, "Well, no one has perfect facial symmetry, right?" - a comment that effectively acknowledged he had not addressed the objective of the procedure.

Botched. Lip filler did not dissolve (6 years later)

I had lip filler treatment in 2019 with Rebecca Warrant, and from the moment I looked in the mirror within the clinic, I noticed my lips were uneven. I was told to wait for the swelling to subside, but here we are in 2025, and the unevenness remains. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that the clinic had gone into liquidation and was offered the option to pay again at a partner clinic called Skin for corrective work. I refused to pay for another treatment, especially since I had no issues with unevenness before the procedure. I now discover that despite my complaint and others she has become the manager. Despite being told the clinic had closed, it seems to be operating again—along with numerous negative reviews. The Juvederm she injected never fully dissolved, despite assurances that it would. I've compared childhood and adult photos, and there was no unevenness before the treatment.

Now, I’m left with a botched result and forced to pay for corrective work elsewhere. I waited 6 years and can now say with full confidence it does not fully dissolve. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to proceed with caution. They take no responsibility for their work, and it’s clear they prioritize profit over customer care. Furthermore there is now research documenting such cases of botched treatments, migration of lip fillers, and even studies using facial scans that clearly show fillers are still present many years later. I am so grateful for that research because too many practitioners deny this being the case, too many go on to exploit clients by making them pay again to dissolve their work. It's also worth mentioning that many doctors and nurses will not dissolve someone else's work but will refill or top you up, very problematic.

Would rate this 0 if I could

Would rate this 0 if I could. Constant back and forth to schedule in a meeting and twice was told I would get a call for a consultation and both times the clinic did not ring. I followed up with my mobile number in advance to ensure they had it. I then haven’t had a response in over a week, after I messaged 10 mins into the original appointment. If they can’t get this first step right then I wouldn’t be comfortable going here! Unprofessional’n

I bought a medicine (mounjaro) and for…

I bought a medicine (mounjaro) and for that I had to go through an online "consultation", as the price was 50% cheaper, I bought it, but after a few days they asked me for personal photos and soon after they asked me to send photos of the prescription (but the one who should provide the prescription is precisely the website after the online consultation) in the end, it was canceled and the money should have been refunded, but I never received my money back and they no longer respond to emails and WhatsApp!
I bought it on December 3rd and today, the 31st, still nothing!

Avoid them!!!!

Avoid!! Dr.George botched my surgery and aftercare two years ago and I’m having to pay for a second surgery as they refused to take responsibility. I was discharged from surgery two hours after being forcefully woken up with nothing more than paracetamol after having my chest muscles torn open 😂💀 my biggest regret to date.

Avoid at all costs

The Harley Medical group pushed to have me pay the full amount for my surgery only to receive an email 5 days after my previous appointment cancelling all further appointments due to bankruptcy, with no useful support or information on how to get my money back. Almost 4 months later and still in the same position.

I contacted my bank to receive a chargeback which Harley group are now disputing despite them telling customers to contact their bank. I would avoid this company at all costs

I charged backed the funds with my bank only to find out today Harley medical are now disputing! Disgusting, I never had my surgery.

Where is my money?!

Absolutely disgusting company! I booked surgery for August, and was contacted to say that my final balance was due a week earlier than stated on my original paperwork.. now it all makes sense! You were scrabbling around to get every penny you could out of your customers before the inevitable happened! A few weeks later I hear on the news that you’ve ceased trading! No contact, nothing. I’ve wanted this surgery for over 15 years after breaking my nose as a teenager.. and it’s been a long time saving. Now you’ve taken over £8000 from me and I can’t book surgery elsewhere because I don’t know if or when I’ll get the money back. Looking at the reviews there are so many others in the same boat.. Shameful!

Was pushed to pay deposit 750. Have received no communication to say company in administration. Absolutely appalling. I did not pay by credit card and am disgusted at the underhand behaviour of so called reputable company. Absolutely terrible and the staff clearly must have known. I don't know how you live with this on your conscious. That includes the surgeons too who are bragging on Instagram about their latest ops ie Ashey Topps. I haven't seen him coming forward to put things right. They are as much in this as the company they are in cahoots with.

Where do I ho now to finish treatment on half. I had a 2 year guarantee what happens? This is not a car part or a washing machine. This is my face. One side of my nose has collapsed.

Was pushed go pay over £9000 for breast…

Was pushed go pay over £9000 for breast surgery to get a email 26 days later after payment made to day they are no longer trading! I was due to have the surgery in 4 weeks. Found it very odd that even after paying a deposit I was pushed to pay the rest of the full amount u want my money back terrible company

YOU OWE ME £11000

You lot pushed us into making a payment earlier than needed for a procedure booked at your birmingham clinic to be carried out in London in September. Paid nearly £11000 and then you cease trading a few days later. Almost seems you knew what was happening and was racing to get money in the bank. This has caused massive financial and emotional stress. No contact, no email nothing. Just vanished with our £11000. I WANT MY MONEY BACK
