Doctor was my last hope in this planet and has abandoned me, even when I’m overseas and don’t want any medication I begged him to not leave me because I was late one time and I always pay in full late or not. I still beg him because he was actually helping me. Don’t abandon a psychiatric patient mid way and destroy them

Initial therapist appointment (online)
My Therapy session with Stefan couldn’t have gone better to be honest; I felt comfortable the whole time and know what the goal is and what we are doing to get there :)

Extremely unhappy with the whole experience!

First doctor was very bolshy and arrogant, failed to write my prescription out properly so delayed my medication by days causing me emotional distress. Spoke to me and the pharmacy very unprofessional, I would go as far to say quite nasty that he made a mistake, mistakes happen but it’s how you deal with it that matters.

I was given £40 off my next appointment, when rebooking they tried to reduce the cost to £30 stating they “only pay £30” it’s their policy! That in its self is worrying they have such a process! They finally agreed at £40 “this once” like they were doing me a favour.

The second prescription they sent to an online pharmacy, after telling me to double my dose! only to then either pay the £189 for the online prescription and wait 3 days for me to receive them leaving me 2 days unmediated or they send another prescription to my nominated pharmacy they sent to before which cost £75, would have the same outcome waiting days to get them leaving me unmedicated again!

I offer solutions...

I can send DPD to collect it

I can pay the difference in postal costs £7? Special delivery to arrive the next working day

They wasn’t willing to do it and left me unmedicated when I need them to function on a daily basis, causing me emotional distress, time off work and causing me further mental distress!

They are here to help? I’ve had suicidal tendencies in the past and this could of cause catastrophic consequences!

I am making a formal complaint to the highest level and reporting it to any relevant conduct authorities! You will also receive a letter by recorded mail and all relevant information passed on to further my case!

Dr Mitchell is a calm and supportive practitioner who has provided excellent care. He takes time to listen and then comes up with a plan that works. He answers all my questions about treatment which is very reassuring.

Had really high hopes for this service and was enthusiastic about the convenience of therapy from home. Unfortunately too good to be true based on my experience. After taking a considerable period of time choosing a counsellor, I then took even more time filling in the assessment online which wasn’t particularly pleasant due to the nature of the questions. A necessary evil though but subsequently pointless as it didn’t save my answers and prompted me to write again.

Further disappointment when I get a message from the counsellor I selected (and paid for) to say she hadn’t updated her calendar and she didn’t have any availability until 2 months later.

Most basic things to get right which you think would be important to the company, such hard work to take initial steps to get therapy only to be left so disappointed with my first experience with online service. Hopefully next company I try will do better.

I approached Harley Therapy looking for a psychotherapist, to overcome, and detangle a history of eating disorders and high-functioning depression. Dr. Maria Vella is a godsend - she is perhaps one of the most ethical and passionate practicioners of psychotherapy and has helped me with deep seated childhood trauma and anxiety. She cares for her patients whilst maintaining a professional boundary, and I knew the therapy was indubitably effective when I could sleep comfortably after years of restlessness.

I reached out to Harley Therapy and started work with Dr Maria Vella at the start of the year. I was extremely anxious and dealing with some bereavement and relationship breakdown issues and had regular spells of depression and self confidence issues, along with sleepless nights that I really struggled to cope with. Dr Maria Vella helped me feel like I could tackle all the things I was struggling with in an incredibly manageable way, she is extremely empathetic, easy to talk to and got me really thinking between each session. The therapy is hard work, but I cannot recommend it enough for anyone seeking help, the investment reaps the reward.

Harley Therapy made working with a therapist incredibly easy – they are very efficient communicators and were always on hand should I have any queries.

I cannot put into words how appreciative I am for all the help that Dr Vella has given to me. It honestly has been life changing and something I carry with me in daily life - I can only express a huge heartfelt thank you to Dr Maria. This is an extremely well run medical clinic. Dr. Humphries is an exceptionally talented clinician that really cares about his patients. I have been a patient of his for around 5 years. He is thorough and accurate with his diagnosis and treatment. The reception staff have always been courteous, polite, and responsive at ALL times. An all-round brilliant team that deserves more than 5 stars. I cannot recommend this clinic more highly.

Though I had few sessions with Laura Oats, she has been very successful in helping me control my anger and to make me aware the root cause of it.

Excellent therapy

I was asked by an NHS doctor to look for a psychiatrist to asses the possibility of having A.A.D.H.D and I decided that if I were to undergo any diagnosis, this time would be the last time since the NHS looked into this as a child and diagnosed me with a different condition (mainly depression). I contacted 3 places, Harley Street was the most expensive but had the best benefits. Offering continuing consultation via email throughout the month, discreet and friendly receptionists and my choice to use them has not been a mistake.

Dr. Stephen Humphries has changed my life Immensely, diagnosing me correctly with A.A.D.H.D. and now I am on treatment the impact it has had on my life is life unbelievable, instead of existing, I feel like a man again,
confident, calm, able and motivated. I will never be able to repay him for this help despite paying the fees, he is worth every penny and more. He has helped me go from private to NHS to cut costs in the future and his goal is to help people like me.

I trust him and he has proven he is the best person, in my opinion, to deal with all forms of A.D.H.D. He is not just a Dr, he is a specialist and he is excellent at his job.
