The service i received from Harmony at Home has been amazing. Jo found me a lovely family and the process was very swift and personal. Thanks so much for going the extra mile, from wishing me good luck, to seeing how my first day went.

Zoe did a great job helping us find a nanny for our two young children. She very quickly sent us 3 candidates all of whom seemed experienced caring and capable. She co-ordinated setting up interviews with them and she was available, engaged and quick to respond throughout the whole recruitment process. We have offered a full time position to one of the ladies Zoe put forward and look forward to her starting with us next month.

Very professional and a pleasure to deal with

As first-time parents, we engaged this agency to source a maternity nurse during an already intense and vulnerable period. Unfortunately, the calibre of the nurse provided fell well below expectations.

We booked the maternity nurse for several weeks, with two weeks required upfront and non-refundable. By the end of the second week, concerns about professionalism and competence were clear. By the third week, we concluded that it was preferable to forfeit the final week’s fees rather than continue the placement. That decision alone speaks volumes.

While the agency may be protected by its terms and conditions, the structure of this arrangement — particularly the non-refundable fees — is not fit for purpose for parents under significant pressure. More concerning is the apparent lack of rigorous vetting.

Parents rely on agencies precisely to mitigate risk at a critical time. In our experience, that assurance was not delivered.

I am a maternity nurse and I cannot fault Georgina Ware who runs Harmony at Home maternity. Georgina is very professional, friendly and approachable. She always answers your call or if she is busy will call you back as soon as she is available. I love the fact that she can be seen actively putting videos up with new jobs as well as posting on WhatsApp. Georgina is very good at matching maternity nurses with the right family and I am very grateful for the rolls I have had through her and for her constant support.

We worked with Sam to find a new nanny for our 4 year old. We were living in South Africa and moving back to the UK, which made everything harder. Sam was super easy to co-ordinate with, found us and vetted a small selection of super qualified candidates, and helped us through the choosing process. We have used Harmony at Homes' services for both finding a night maternity nanny as well as our permanent nanny once our child got older. In both cases, Georgina and Jo absolutely delivered on finding us wonderful nannies who have been essential parts of our family. In both cases, Georgina and Jo were knowledge, very easy to contact and helpful throughout the process (which was brand new to us). I certainly recommend them for their services!
