I recently spent a few hundred dollars on the Harper and Sage Toronto site. I thought it was a Canadian company and the items looked beautiful. What I received was beyond disappointing. I feel these clothes could be bought from other Chinese companies at a fraction of the cost. Everything I bought was 59.95, I could have got them for 10 or 15$. The quality was cheap and unwearable. It is hard to describe the fabric as I had never seen anything of such poor quality. I contacted Harper and Sage a number of times by email and received prompt yet unsatisfactory responses. They discouraged me returning items as there would be high postage and duties to pay. As well they implied the item could easily get lost. There was no apology for poor quality or explanation as to why they advertise implying they are Canadian. I advise you to keep your money and avoid purchasing anything advertised on Instagram unless you have done thorough research

I purchased a dress from Harper & Sage believing they were a company out of Toronto. Item was shipped from China and now they won't accept a return for full refund unless I pay for shipping to return it to China. They offer vouchers to purchase more crappy merchandise. I have reported them to my credit card company.

Worst company. Not located in Toronto. It’s a drop shipping operation that is based in Europe and the product comes from China. Website says they ship with Canada post. What a scam. If you paid with pay pal please file a dispute and ignore their emails trying to manipulate you to close the claim for a refund. Let pay pal work the process so they lose their ratings.

I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering! Thankfully, I only bought a modest pair of walking shoes, which I will have to give away because they don't fit properly.
Return = bullshit
No contact information. They never responded to my emails or my messages that I sent via their supposedly legitimate website.

Cheap Chinese awful shoes, not orthopedic as on the website. Would not give me a refund, offered a voucher.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered 2 dresses. I was stupid enough to think they were made in Toronto, within an hour I saw that they were made in China. I emailed them requesting that the order be cancelled. Of course it was too late. But person who contacted me assured me I could return if there was an issue within 14 days and I would get a refund!!! Ha! What a joke! They arrived and where so shoddy and did not look at all like they were advertised. I resent her email stating I would get full refund. After 4 more emails I was offered 25% refund. Or return them and having to pay shipping and other costs. I opted for 25% refund. Still waiting!! I am so mad at myself for falling for this scam!

Still waiting for a response from this company for a return of an oversized product. Very poor quality!

They definitely take pictures of better quality products and send you cheap knock off garbage. DO NOT ORDER from these SCAM artists unless you want to flush your money straight down the toilet!!!! 😡

Do not purchase from this company! It is not Canadian and sells the cheapest clothing I have ever seen. It comes from overseas. China I believe. Paid way too much money for the most poorly made dress. Doesn’t look at all like the beautiful dress I ordered.

This place is awful! Their website seems so high quality and everything is advertised well. I ordered shoes and the quality is literally dollar store quality. The soles are plastic and the shoe is as light as a cheap flip flop. Do not buy from this company!

Do not buy from the website. Quality was mediocre and the company will not accept returns for refund, instead offering you a voucher to buy more crap quality items from their website. They are a Chinese company masquerading as being a Canadian firm. Bad form, shame on you Harper & Sage!

Do not order from them!! I ordered a dress & the quality is horrible. They do not allow returns. They say that the business is in Toronto but that is a lie.

The ads imply the company is based in North America, but the items are Chinese overpriced junk. The expensive blouse I ordered was advertised as 100% cotton, but it was cheap polyester. Returns to China are at the customer's expense. Do not buy from this company.

They present themselves as a Toronto, ON company but they are not! The 2 items I purchased were not as shown and they would not allow a return for a refund. Very deceptive company....BEWARE!

Scam alert. This company is not in Yorkville Toronto like their website implies. The shirts received are the worst quality I have ever seen. 7 emails to get the return process information and then threats that the price of return and duty will be high. They offered me a 25% refund and I could keep the products which I will never wear. The products received are NOT as advertised. This website needs to be reported and taken down. I thought I was purchasing from a store in Toronto. Buyer beware! I will do my research next time.
