HN staff are very helpful, they know their products well and can advise on the pros and cons of each device. The only drawback they are always trying to move you up market from what you came in to buy. So if you know what you need stick to your guns... ie if you use device for reports email spreadsheets you don't need the best graphics and sound system going.

My oven only broke on Monday and I had my new one by Wednesday, when the driver rang me he said they would be there at 14.55 but arrived at 14.52 and new oven in and old one removed and they driving away at 15.05

Delivery was at time specified. Staff carried the appliance into the house, and left it exactly where I wanted it. Excellent service.

I shop in Castlebar regularly. The staff are great. I would prefer to buy from a 100% Irish company, but they do employ a lot of people at all of their stores, so at least that is something. They are a very good company to deal with in my experience.

I ordered two power banks and needed them quickly. The package arrived very fast but only one was there. I then had to make several calls and messages to HN and eventually I was told I had to drive to the store to collect it. I was told it would be waiting for me at the till. I went to the till and had to wait for the order to be looked up and printed out and then told I had to go to the photo centre to collect it. It was a nuisance and caused unnecessary stress

I tried to buy a freestanding fridge on-line, I received only nonsense when I asked information regarding the delivery time. 5 times after I asked for info I received a call from Castlebar Harvey Norman stating I would have a delivery time next day but nothing every time. After more than 1 month without any delivery time I asked for a refund. The only good thing is that they immediately refund

Ordered in store fridge freezer on 2/2 told they pick it up from Galway by 4/2 and deliver week commencing 9/2. No one called to arrange delivery so went into store Sunday 8/2. Told they will call me Monday 9/2 and definitely deliver by Friday 13. I had to contact the store as no one called me. I was told they hadn’t picked it up from Galway yet. Then told can’t deliver until 17/2. Absolutely no consideration given. Customer service lies at every point 0/10 wish I had brought from Curry’s instead. Won’t get my custom anymore.

Castlebar branch photo shop. I wanted 4 photos printed from my phone. To start the terminal wouldn't load my photos so I had to download the app and order and pay online. When my photos were printed only 2 were correct. I asked for one 7 x 5 and the picture printed across the middle so was only 3 1/2 x 5 leaving 1 1/2 inches of white at the top and 2 inches at the bottom. When I said to the assistant that there was no way I could put the picture in a frame I was told as I ordered it online I should have rotated and cropped it. I had to order it online as the terminal wouldn't work, also it was another of their assistants that did the order for me. I was charged €2.50 even though the price list states 1-99 prints are 25c. Apparently the minimum order is €2.50, even though I'd paid €9 for the 3 bigger photos. The last photo was really badly printed. I left the store and travelled to Ballinrobe to Treacys pharmacy and got both pictures printed perfectly with great assistance and customer service. I would not use Harvey Norman in Castlebar for photo printing again. Terrible service and no apology.
