Went to get a racquet restrung. The lady was very helpful and knew what she was taking about. She said at one point she was almost certain about the type I needed but checked before going ahead with my order.
I left my racquet one day and it was ready the next’s an excellent job all round.

Excellent after care service
They took my son's hockey stick in because there was a rattle from inside. Last time this happened, it was a simple fix to take some tiny bits of carbon fibre out. However, after an hour of trying they still couldn't remove the rattle. So, they are sending the stick back to Gray's because it should still be under warranty, and they provided me with a brand new stick of the same type from Gray's, with a small payment to cover the difference in price. I think this is fabulous customer service and it ha cemented my trust in an already very trustworthy shop. Highly recommended!

Separately, Hawkinsport is a really good sports store, with a wide varierty of sports equipment, appareil & footwear. Staff are knowlegable & pricing competitive. There's plenty of parking & store is conveniently located in Bourne End, Bucks.

A personal shopping experience.
They take time to find out what you need based on your level & position in your sport then recommend the best option, not necessarily the most expensive one! Always feel welcome & that I am being given a personal service, unlike some major stores where staff give the impression that you're intruding on them.
