I've been a Hedgeye subscriber for 5 years. Keith and company literally saved me from losing my mind from trying to digest the myriad of differing investment advice in the world. The Hedgeye investing process resonated with me for very important, basic reasons. It's mathematical, is top-down macro to micro analysis, and follows a proven logical economic quad framework. I struggle with wanting to share it with people versus knowing it gives me such an advantage over other market participants.

The "process" failed in 2023. Quad 4, bear market, trend down.. were all wrong. HE missed the huge move higher from Oct 2022 to present. They failed to adapt to 0dte, and didn't change their "quad" until the 3rd quarter. Rob Simone is good. His MPW call was and still is solid.

I did a 6 month (total $6.) trial subscription to Hegeye's "The Early Look" and I appreciated seeing what market segments and sometimes ETFs were in bullish or bearish configuration.
There is a LOT of macho bragging by CEO Keith about how he's nailing it every day. Maybe in an expensive service from Hedgeye someone could copy his moves if they had a very large account and were on top of it minute by minute.
There is also a lot jargon, Hedgeye acronyms, and insider analytical terms that take a long time to get used to, esp. for a small retail investor without an economics degree.
Overall, I got value out of my trial but didn't renew.

If you want "fast money" without doing the work and love to blame others for your shortcomings, continue enjoying capital draw downs. If you are humble, motivated, disciplined, and are willing to take ownership of your capital, this service is for you. Hedgeye helped me understand how much there is to learn while helping to simplify the very complex. This is for serious people that appreciate consistent and life changing information delivered in a manner that is simple to grasp. Do not listed to the "simpletons" that get triggered b/c they want to be as good as Keith and his team are after subscribing for 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month. This service is consistent and over delivers on their product offerings. Frankly, their products are priced at an enormous discount relative to the life changing information and guidance they provide. Some folks believe they are entitled to decades worth of experience and knowledge being spoon fed to them and want to only enjoy gains without realizing how ridiculous that is to expect or demand. I was able to preserve and protect my capital, my in-laws, and siblings capital all b/c I decided that there had to be a better way then the dollar cost averaging scam pushed by FAs and financial media. Amazing offering! I cannot say enough good things about Hedgeye and the people. You either want to be coached or you don't. If you're soft, this service can help you grow up!

I don't use the stock picks, I only use the macro trends as a guide to my ETF picks. I value and trust their overall economic analyses.

Absolutely damaging to your wealth. CEO Cherry picks to tout "winners" with little or no mention of HUGE losses recommending shorting big winners since 2022 bottom. Acknowledging some changes now but STILL bearish view and bullish vix at 13.5

My last investment advisor was a Hedgeye disciple, and I learned a lot from the information provided from HEDGEYE and the advisor. They always seemed to be a bit ahead of what was coming. Unfortunately my account over several years was badly outperformed by the S&P. As many will testify, you can’t time the market, and if I had it to do over, I would buy the the S&P, save the fees and avoid the mental gymnastics of trying to hit the moves while avoiding the drops.

The service was extremely incorrect. For example, QQQ was flagged bearish for over 6 months while it went up from 262 to 370 (45%). So not only do you miss the upside but you lose dearly if you're short. When subscribers brought this up we were admonished. What's more the hatred spewed for other analysts was dark, unhealthy and disturbing. It was one of the worst experiences.

Not able to provide any AlpHa. Also not recommended to learn from people w/o any idea on integrity

most the calls have been off for the year, not very good in a bear market, wrong on TLT.

Aside from having a s.h.i.t.t.y trading system

Low moral people with no alpha. Don't give them your hard earned money!

Management doxxes people, seems creepy

Bought an all-access annual subscription for $1800, then lost ~10 times that amount following their advice. Utterly useless. Daily updates are rehash of high level news, macro is as wrong as everybody and individual names are poorly researched and full of bias. Best way to make some money: don’t buy their products.

Massive ego, constantly stretching the truth, everyone is bad except him, rants like a child, waste of time and money
