Had a unpaid payment and the collection…

Had a unpaid payment and the collection was sent to a debt recovery agency which I paid an oversight from myself and then I got an email to not pay that debt agency and pay them. I had already paid the debt recovery have tried to resolve by calling and emailing many times and still no resolve, I had 2 people not from the Uk answering my calls which sounded like kids being murdered in the background and he couldn’t even hear me and kept saying yes when I asked a question. The food and delivery is great but after service is the worse I have ever ever experienced

Awful delivery

Well what can I say other than delivery is shocking yodel... need I say no more we had hello fresh for two weeks and both weeks we stopped in for the parcel on a Wednesday the first week it was supposed to be here at 3 and wasn't deliver till 7 and was then put in a communal garage not stated as safe place and had been left near the gat for anyone to see and take .... I though that's not too bad he/she is in a rush fair enough (recipe card also missing). However the food was ok and thought we would stick with it as it is ideal with us all working different shifts.
However this weeks was supposed to have been delivered at the latest 3 and its 10:30 at night and haven't received it. I contacted customer service and the individual stated it was due to the weather in which where I live have no issues and he stated it was out for delivery still (yodel stops delivering at 9) meaning raw meat, fresh veg and cream will be left in a van overnight . To which I got the response contact me if theirs any damage. Although hello fresh put an ice pack in the box the likelihood is this is not good enough to keep food fresh overnight as the ones that came last week were nearly completely melted on arrival. Not to state the obvious of someone being stuck in all day waiting for the parcel to never show up. Overall disappointed as this would of been ideal for our lifestyle and would of enjoyed it otherwise.

I find this company to be sneaky

I find this company to be sneaky. I received a call from one of their employees as I had signed up for an offer and they wanted to give me the code. I told them that I was no longer interested in using Hello Fresh because it doesn't do organic. The person on the phone went on to say that the company uses organic ingredients and I should sign up with her over the phone. She insisted several times but I declined and said I would first check for myself if what she was saying is true. I searched on their website and couldn't see anywhere that says organic and I left it. The person I spoke to over the phone was dishonest.

A few months later I have decided to use them again. Went onto their website and it immediately asked me questions, how many people, how many meals, choose the meals, input payment details and then at the end it showed that my box would be delivered on Friday. Unfortunately this day doesn't work for me because I usually don't cook on the weekends. I tried changing it and it was saying I can't change it and I will be charged for it. Very upset that their site doesn't show you the date of delivery at the beginning before they take card details etc.

No steak included in the sirloin steak…

No steak included in the sirloin steak meal. When I contacted them I was offered a refund amounting to a third of the cost of the steak meal. I would expect at least a full refund of that meal and free delivery as a good will gesture. Previous meals have been missing minor ingredients which I was willing to overlook but this is too much. I am really unimpressed and have cancelled my account.

No more chicken thigh 🤢

I like the recipes. Sometimes it’s stingey with a tiny shallot for example, in a meal for a family etc. But please, can we have some chicken breast meat, as all the thigh meat is gross, and by the time you’ve cut all the nastiness away, there’s not much left! Every time I pick a chicken recipe, low and behold, it’s that bloody yucky thigh meat again. I really don’t eat much other meat, so with chicken off the menu, I’ll have to stop ordering from Hello Fresh.

Won't stop harassing me with calls!

I once signed up for a competition/ promotion and it asked for my phone number so I submitted it. Ever since, I've been receiving harassing phone calls from the company. They're extremely rude on the phone, hang up in your face if you politely ask to be taken off this call list, and if you talk to them they pressure you into purchasing from them. Really awful. If I wanted to be harassed so badly I would have signed up for the Scientology call list!!

The recipes are very dull plus impossible to leave the service

The recipes are very dull and quite carby, the quality of the ingredients reflects the price (low), it is also next to impossible to leave and also to remove your credit card details from their system. I am currently into 20 minutes with online chat asking them to delete my details as per GDPR. No excuse that this cannot be done via a simple button to push to completely exit from this company. At least the UK site works better than HelloFresh Canada-zero rating there, can't even logically find the calendar! still waiting with online chat...this is not complicated to ask to leave...I grow old waiting for them to respond.

Zu empfehlen

Die Rezepte sind immer sehr gut und ausreichend. Wir waren noch nie von einem der Rezepte enttäuscht. Man braucht am Anfang vielleicht etwas länger als die angegebenen Zubereitungszeiten, denke das legt sich aber mit der Zeit. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der ökologische Aspekt: HelloFresh könnte sich ein ökologischeres Modell bezüglich der Verpackungen überlegen (Pfandverpackungen? Boxen zum zurückgeben und wiederverwerten) und auch Bio-Produkte ins Sortiment nehmen.

very satisfied

I like the system. It's easy and conveniant, the food is quality, the recipies are so well explained, that even a beginner in cooking will get a great result. The choice is great, and the ingredients are well chosen to provide a healthy food, well tasting. It takes me the burden of shopping, and there is no waste of food, as all the ingredients just match.

Outdated minced beef by 6 days...disgusting!

The first week everything was fine. Subsequent weeks we have experienced missing items, short shelf life on meat products, no menus, food not packaged very well, brown veg.
Yesterday we received our box, no menus, meat items yet again have a very short shelf life. We also received minced beef which was 6 days out of date. We contacted customer services about the short shelf life on the meat products and was advised to freeze. The whole point of the service is that its supposed to be "Hello Fresh' not 'Hello Freeze'. When we raised our concerns about the 6 day outdated minced beef nobody seemed to take this complaint seriously. My advice is order elsewhere unless you want food poisoning!

Gets you out of your routine

The ingredients are fresh and stay fresh for 7 - 10 days, so you don't have to cook everything at once (except for meat).
Good variety of recipes.
It gives you new ideas and gets you out of your cooking routine :)

Very good quality products

Very good quality products, always fresh. Recipes not extremely difficult.
However, it would be nice sometimes to get a promotion or discount as a long term client.

Great experience with Hello Fresh!

I am really satisfied with my experience with Hello Fresh. At first I thought it could be a bit expensive but after some time we figured out it's not and we really enjoy the dishes. Of nearly 60 receipts we had so far, there were only a few where some of the ingredients were missing or already bad when they arrived. After all the (veggie) dishes are really good and the customer service is great.

Really love the concept

Really love the concept. I choose the Rapido menues, because I use Hello Fresh on busy work evenings, so I can have a yummy, healthy and quick dinner every day. However I wished there were dairy-free options for menues using cheese and cream (which I love) and I wished there were more low-caloric menues in the rapido section :)

Speak to customer services to confirm cancelled subscriptions

Similar experience to others. They offer very little information about the meals before you sign up. Was keen to give it a try, so signed up and then discovered there were very few meals that would suit my family who have multiple allergies. I cancelled my subscription immediately, so was surprised to receive a box a few days later and discover that I'd been charged for it. Was told by their customer services that I could only be given a 50% refund because they'd paid suppliers/delivery services and all first orders must be cancelled directly with customer services and not just through your account. So now they still have half my money and I have a box full of food that I can't use. Such a con.

Eine große Auswahl

Eine große Auswahl, so dass immer etwas für uns dabei ist. Die Zutaten sind immer sehr frisch und die Menüs sind sehr lecker. Eine größere Portion Fisch oder Fleisch wäre angebracht.
