HelpBnk is FREE and so HELPFUL

I've been in two accelerator programmes on HelpBnk - both free. I'm currently in an AI accelerator and they have been SO GOOD!! I'm in the process of building a business and there's no way I could have done it without HelpBnks support

Ended the Call When I Couldn’t Afford the Subscriptions for multiple platforms

⚠️ My experience today…

Everything sounds amazing at first, but it’s not actually free. They recommend subscribing to multiple paid platforms.
As soon as I told the consultant that I didn’t have the money to pay for the subscriptions, he decided to end the video call and reschedule the appointment until I have the money.

I genuinely thought the purpose was to help people who are struggling, so I found this very disappointing.

Before trusting any company, please do your own research. I checked the Trustpilot reviews afterwards and saw that many people had shared disappointing experiences. Always read the reviews before sharing your personal details or spending your money. 👀

Thank you for being honest. You deserve a straight answer. HelpBnk genuinely is free: there's a small setup cost for some tools, but you get a cash reward for signing up that covers it, so it ends up costing you nothing. That's something we always explain upfront. We never ever charge for help!

And money should never be the reason a call ends. If that's how today felt, I'm sorry.

Terrible place to join Simon squibb helpbnk

Hi there i just want to give my experience about the meeting with James Berry Basically he piss me off, i was asking about personal question i didn't, appreciate that i was thinking we gonna start to build, the store today and lucas he didn't even told me on monday you gonna have a call with James what is gonna happen on the call nothing i sent him a message, i told him this is not organize, they get pay with wix by sign people up, the way Simon Squibb explained on the facebook ads is nothing else, i was thinking everything gonna be the same he said yes 4 weeks we gonna help you bhalala, i didn't get any help why they call it help bnk. 

james was asking me why you want to do ecom is not your business, ok i told him i want to stop my job per time to do full time i want to become my own boss, he said i don't think so dropshipping is good for you, he said do you have any skill i told him i'm good on cooking, but i don't like to cook i don't have to patience to cook i have experience, he said why i told him his personal he said what kind i told him because on my ex but is nothing to do with you and you should not book a call with me to ask me dump questions, your job is to help me with the store. and on the dropshipping course, he said go on amazon to find the products, everyone how that the course is crap nothing good there is nothing good the same thing i can find on Youtube why i need to be here i will cancel my wix sub right now man Simon Squibb don't waste people time why you get pay.

My Dream Was Welcome—Until I Declined Wix

I signed up through Simon Squibb's "What's Your Dream?" platform hoping to receive guidance, mentoring, and support for a project focused on helping people create self-sustainable countryside communities.

The experience started with an AI assistant calling me, asking questions about my dream, and booking an appointment within hours. While the technology was impressive, I found the approach impersonal and somewhat uncomfortable.

I then received a follow-up call from a team member who asked additional questions and confirmed I would attend the meeting. During the actual call, we discussed my project and the support available. I explained that having a website would be helpful as a way to share my vision with the world.

However, the conversation changed when I was asked to share my screen and visit a Wix sign-up link. When I explained that I had previously used Wix and had a poor experience with the platform, and therefore preferred not to use it, I was told that they could not help me if I wasn't willing to proceed with Wix.

That was surprising and disappointing. I had joined believing the focus would be on mentoring, guidance, and helping people pursue their dreams. Instead, it felt as though access to support was conditional on using a specific platform.

I appreciate the time given to me, but my experience left me feeling that the dream itself was secondary to the Wix partnership. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the service based on my experience.

Good site, but too many spammers

It's noble to offer a free service, and there are some good people on there. But the amount of spammers on the site was all too off-putting, and I decided it was a site that I probably won't be using going forward.

Don’t trust it.

On the surface, Simon Squibb looks like a generous millionaire who has suddenly appeared all over social media, handing out cash to strangers and talking about “investing in dreams”, and it is easy to see why he has built such a huge following in a short space of time. To many people online he seems to have come out of nowhere, even though interviews and speaker bios show that he has actually been in business for decades, having founded and sold companies such as the Hong Kong agency Fluid to PwC before launching HelpBnk. That contrast the “ordinary bloke on the street” persona versus the very polished, long-standing entrepreneur behind the scenes already makes the whole thing feel more like a carefully engineered brand than a grassroots movement.

When I dug deeper into who he is and what HelpBnk actually does, I was struck by how much criticism and unease is already out there from people who have used the platform or crossed paths with the community. There are detailed LinkedIn articles from former users talking about “toxic helpfulness”, weak safeguards and basic security issues, arguing that vulnerable people are nudged into oversharing personal information without proper protection. On Reddit and similar forums, multiple threads question how genuine some of the viral street videos are, describe the advice as shallow and generic, and share stories of uncomfortable direct messages and defensive behaviour when his approach is criticised

Reviews of HelpBnk itself paint a similarly worrying picture. On Trustpilot, alongside a few positive comments, there are repeated complaints that the platform is “full of scammers”, that people impersonate HelpBnk staff or even Simon himself, and that the environment feels more like a lead-generation playground for salespeople than a safe space for real support. Several reviewers say that the main “help” they receive is thinly disguised pitches from coaches and consultants who are high on the site’s leaderboard, reinforcing the impression that the system is designed to reward self-promotion and list‑building rather than genuine, no‑strings‑attached mentoring. Others explicitly describe it as “just for marketing” and warn that ideas can be lifted or exploited by bad actors operating under the banner of the community.

There are also recurring concerns about how HelpBnk handles user data and communication. Some users report trying to unsubscribe from HelpBnk’s email list multiple times only to keep receiving marketing messages, which they argue goes against basic GDPR expectations and shows a lack of respect for consent and data hygiene. Combine that with a platform design that encourages people to share personal backstories, business ideas and contact details in a semi‑public space where scammers are already active, and it starts to feel as though data capture and growth are being prioritised far above user safety or meaningful, long‑term support.

Yes, Simon Squibb has a well‑polished origin story homeless at 15, then building and selling businesses, and now presenting himself as a multimillionaire on a mission to help millions start companies for free and he has clearly mastered emotionally charged, viral social content. However, once you look past the staircase theatrics and feel‑good clips, and listen to the many users and commentators who describe HelpBnk as scam‑ridden, superficial and poorly governed, a very different picture starts to emerge. Trustpilot reviews and forum posts repeatedly complain that the platform is full of scammers, that “help” often turns into sales pitches or lead‑generation, and that users are pushed towards external services, courses or tools rather than receiving genuine, no‑strings‑attached support

Although HelpBnk markets itself as a free community, in practice a lot of what is on offer comes with some kind of catch whether that is being funnelled into paid programmes, being harvested for contact details, or being nudged into relationships where the real objective is to sell you something further down the line. Taken together, this makes it hard to avoid the conclusion that the primary value flows into Simon Squibb’s personal brand, data ecosystem and marketing funnel rather than into the lives of the ordinary people encouraged to pour their dreams and personal details into the platform. In my view, it currently looks far more like a sophisticated marketing and data‑collection operation with a veneer of “free help” than a genuinely safe or effective way to get meaningful support for your dream.

Disappointing Experience with Unanswered Questions

I took part in a four-week online course offered by Helpbnk. The program was free, and at the end of the workshop there were supposed to be three winners, each receiving $2,500. A requirement was active participation in the workshop, which included sharing many details about one’s own business idea.

I participated actively until the end but never found out whether any prize money was actually awarded to any participant. What was much worse, however, was that some of the ideas I had shared during the workshop appeared on a company website that was launched toward the end of the workshop. Even the websites name was identical with my business idea.

When I reached out about both, the prize money and this incident, the Helpbnk team never responded. All of this could be a coincidence, but if the condition for receiving prize money is sharing business ideas—and then those ideas seem to take on a life of their own, while the prize money is never mentioned again—then Helpbnk has lost my trust.

HelpBnk is more than just a platform …

HelpBnk is more than just a platform it’s a movement that brings people together to help each other without expectation. I went there struggling to get my own app off the ground, and through the community I’ve now connected with two brilliant techs who stepped in to help fix my code for free. What looked like the end of the road is now back on track.

If all goes well, they’ll become my co-founders as we launch one of the first SaaS marketplace platforms built for trades and property owners, with a touch of fintech innovation around a community drive platform. HelpBnk gave me my purpose back, support , and proof that community-driven business is the future.

I met the Helpbnk team at Ideas Fest having pitched to Rich on his fabulous ringdoorbellvan. The support, professionalism and comradely I have been given is incomparable. The entrepreneurial journey can feel lonely at times, not with Helpbnk. The weekly calls and mentoring are focused and genuine support. helpbnk do not share you projet with that platform

First when you put your detail and information and details you proflls is ready that happen when using other platform but not helbnk . helbnk tell me we need use various site to like, design logo using this platform use other design website ect. i already have my logo so dont need to use other platform . avoid no real helping anyone , full of scammer and people look to take you idea , avoid terrible .
