I'm a tutor working with homeschooled children, and I took Sheilagh's Twilight Workshop to gain more practical tools to support my students' handwriting.

I can honestly say it was incredibly eye-opening. Sheilagh introduced me to concepts I had never come across before and shared simple, practical ideas that are easy to implement but based on solid principles. Sometimes we tend to overcomplicate things, and this workshop was a great reminder that effective strategies don't have to be complicated.

Everything I've tried with my students since attending the workshop has made a noticeable difference. It has really helped support their progress and made teaching handwriting much more effective and enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to help children improve their handwriting, letter formation, writing fluency, and speed. It was an excellent investment, and I'm so pleased I took part.

We’ve just finished with this handwriting club, and it has been wonderful for my teenager. He has improved so much, and throughout the classes he was always motivated, engaged, and happy to take part. The teacher is amazing, and the variety of resources kept the sessions interesting and enjoyable. I also love the lovely touch that a tree is planted for each student. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Sheilagh and her program! She helped my son so much with his handwriting, and troubleshooting what was going wrong and the barriers that were in place preventing him from having good handwriting. We saw SUCH a dramatic improvement over a couple of months. His handwriting went from unreadable to nice. Sheilagh was so compassionate and patient while still being very effective in getting him to do his work. Highest recommendation!

My 10years old son had been attending the 45mins classes with Sheilagh in the past few months.

Being an active child who doesn’t like to sit still for more than 15mins, initially I was unsure if my son could pay attention throughout the online class. Turned out that Sheilagh’s classes were engaging and super fun- while dishing out the games, Sheilagh was effective in diagnosing the root cause of the problem with his handwriting and providing guidance to address these challenges. Sheilagh provided me with feedback at the end of each class, so I was also given advice on how to help our son.

My son is now more mindful about what to pay attention to in his writing, and with more practice, I am sure his handwriting skill will be further improved. All in all, I highly recommend Help with Handwriting!

I found Help with Handwriting when looking for help for my 8 year old son and his poor handwriting. From the get go Sheilagh made the sessions fun and made the time to get to know my son. He loved the sessions, which is amazing as he hated writing, he especially liked that he had control over the games they played! Sheilagh wass very clever in how she gave advise, tips and tricks and made sure that she gave plenty of praise which worked so well for my son. We saw a huge improvement in my son's writing style after the 6 sessions and I believe he has made adjustments that will stick for life.
