Extremely rude and dismissive staff
Extremely rude and dismissive staff. Visited the store and purchased an item when we got the item home we discovered that the label had a much cheaper price on the other side of the label. I immediately telephoned the store to inform them and could hear the staffs conversation in the background saying that "anyone could have wrote a different price" I told them I would email a photo of the label as proof but I got no response. Visited the store today to get the situation rectified to be met by rude and arrogant members of staff who again repeated that "anyone could have put a new price on the label". We asked to return the item on principle to be told they don't do refunds when it was suggested that this was illegal they pointed to a sign that said they don't accept returns. The member of staff in the end refunded the difference between the price paid and the price on the reverse of the label although their demeanor throughout was arrogant as if we shouldn't be shopping in their store. We will never shop in this store again as we were made to feel as though we had changed the price of the item ourselves. We are really offended and hurt but the accusation. I will also be contacting Barbour to inform them of the incident asit was a Barbour product and the store has many Barbour logos throughout.
