Delicious cake and a great customer service from Ealing branch .Thank you 😊

We always loved Heriots cake and had bought our family birthday cakes as well as friend's ones from them. But since they changed their menu and recipes recently (so what a shop clerk said), the quality had gone down quite dramatically. We bought two birthday cakes (different flavour ones) from Heriots recently just give it another try and both were really terrible. The presentation was nice as always but the sponges were so dry and cream tasted like a chunk of butter. and fake. We liked their cakes because of use of abundant fresh cream but now they taste like low quality supermarket ones. I was very disappointed with my own birthday cake and also my son was also. All the guests left their cakes including kids. We had to throw remaining of cakes. Sadly, we won't order our cake from them anymore. I'm writing a review this time to express our disappointment and regrettably, the cake is no longer a value for the price.

Absolutely disappointed with Heriot’s Cake. I placed an order for my birthday, expecting it to arrive on time, but it never showed up. No tracking, no way to contact them—just complete silence. I sent a formal complaint, and they never even bothered to reply. The next day, I found the cake left outside my door—long after my celebration was ruined. I no longer needed it, yet they failed to address the issue or offer a refund. Terrible service, zero accountability. Would not recommend!

Do not use this company. Also they send you the cake frozen which I have never experienced before with other cake companies.

I ordered a cake and they got the name wrong and I could not use the cake as it was for a birthday party that evening They offered to refund me only for the plaque after I asked for some sort of refund, and that was for GBP 2.50! What a joke

In the first instance they offered a 10 pd gift card which really isn't of any use to me after what happened given.

Never using them again and will be telling my friends the same.

You sent me an ice block of a cake!! I ordered online yesterday which arrived today but was totally solid and also the birthday inscription card Did Not have the name! BUT was broken in half!! I tried to call you but kept getting a message saying the number does not exist!! I called the Brent Cross branch only to find that it is a mobility vehicle store!! The poor lady was also so tired of receiving the umpteen calls meant for you and said she was going to make a formal complaint about your company!! You Ruined my son's wonderful Birthday and I Am Very Very Upset!!

Dear all, good afternoon!

As regular customer of you I am really sad to say that what I bought today at Ealing Broadway stand was rubbish, to do not say a bad word at all!

How could you sell mold product? I bought it today 7/7 for service today 7/7.

I was celebrating my birthday, got a few cakes and one of them once open was full of mold! The strawberry cheesecake most seems to be a jelly what so ever starwberry low cost product. Look below.

Even the slices of cake was old, with bad aspect at all. Seems to be there for ever and ever.

I decided to trash all the producs as I refuse to serve rubbish to my friends. Mold food can cause a really serious food poisoning. You shoud be ashame of serving this rubbish!!!!!

Will never buy again from you!

IN my country fortunatelly we have customer laws and companies who serves this kind of food pay lots of fine and indenizations to client.

I would not recommend Heriots as an online Patisserie, because there is no way to communicate with the company.

I placed my order 5 days before intended delivery. Immediately after submitting the order I made contact through their allocated communications email (and also in response to the order email), to enquire about an ingredient/potential for replacement due to an intolerance (there is no phone communication available). Their own automatic response states emails are monitored 7 days a week, with specific hours for weekends. No response was ever received, not even to say the least that ingredients could not be replaced for an intolerance - not an allergy.

I followed up the next working day and also a day before delivery, and, through their website form as well. To date I have yet to receive response from this company, so I would not order again and not recommend due to being unreliable with communications.

In fairness to the review, the delivery was prompt without issues, the Pistachio and rose cake was as described and overall beautiful with fresh ingredients. The intended recipient was very pleased and I am happy to say the entire cake was consumed.

Overall taste was not exceptional but nevertheless a very decent sponge and cream cake with balanced ingredients and light flavours of pistachio and rose.
